I have a Nook HD+ and created a number of scrapbooks that i would like view on my PC.  I download Adobe Digital Editons to the PC with no problem.  ADE will open a scrapbook file from the PC or the Nook, however, it bring in only one page.What is the process to be able to view all the page via ADE? The file extension is .ugc

Recently, I have not been able to activate my library eBooks through ADE 4.5, despite having no problems in the past. I will download the file from OverDrive, try to open it via ADE and the download dialog box's progress bar fills up and then perpetually stays filled, with the Cancel button greyed out. The only way to exit it to shut it down manually. Upon reopening ADE, the book appears but with a "loan" tag, not the the usual "borrowed" tag. When I click on it, the program crashes. I have tried re-authorizing, but that has not worked. Thank you for your help!

I purchased several ebooks on my computer....I authorized my phone/app with my Adobe acct used on computer with Digital Editions App.I expected my purchased content to download to my phone in Digital Ed's app, but it none of the ebooks have downloaded.

Downloaded and installed ADE. Purchased 2x ebooks which I am unable to read due to this error. I have deleted the "adept" folder in regedit, uninstalled the product, etc. All to no avail. I think this is ridiculous. Surely there must be a solution???Reply from the ebook supplier:The below error indicates that you are using the incorrect credentials when authorising. In this instance, we would suggest authorizing with any other Adobe ID that you may have created around the time of initial download. Please note, if this error persists, it means that when you initially downloaded your eBooks the first time, your PC was not authorised with an Adobe ID. The consequence of this is that you are prevented you from opening the eBook on any other devices other than the one it was originally downloaded to, and the below error will occur. My current profile does not have admin access.  I installed Adobe Digital Editions using my profile and with an admin. account.  Now each time it asks me for the admin. password.  Is there a way to get around this?  Should I install the software with a logged in administrator account instead of a regular user profile?Thanks in advance.

I get the following error message when I download my e-book from Kobo to my ADE. "Error getting Licence communication problem E_IO_CANNOT_OPEN". I am on Windows 7 and haven't had any trouble in the past. I have had Kobo delete and re-add the book and reset my Kobo license. I have uninstalled and re-installed the latest edition of ADE, and de-authorised and re-authorised my computer on ADE. None have helped.

Hi !i've done an ePub3 file wich has some spans with small-caps,and it works fine on ADE 4.5But when transformed to ePub2 (some resellers won't accept ePub3 yet), the small caps are lost on ADE, while it still works fine on other readers.Any ideas?Thank you!Pablo

I am trying to authorize my new adobe reader and computer, but I get a message saying that I can't (too many authorizations).  I only have one ebook reader and one computer at any given time, not sure how I would have exceeded the authorization limit.  Is there any way to reset my limit to I can download my ebooks and library books again?

I used to have no issues borrowing books from elibrairies Manitoba but since this past winter (maybe longer) I keep getting this error every time I try to put the book I borrowed onto my Kobo Glo device. Anyone else having this issue and know what to do about this? Thanks!

When I try to authorize my computer I get a popup: "Connection Error.  Digital Editions could not connect to the activation server.  Please make sure you are connected to the internet."I have a working internet connection.I have already tried uninstalling and re-installing with my firewall off, checked that my computer wasn't authorized previously (it wasn't), and tried using an older version (1.72, same error).  I also tried authorizing with and without an ID, and both returned the same message.The file I'm trying to open is .acsm.  Please help!  I'll have to spend hundreds of dollars on textbooks if I can't get them from my school's online library.

There is a very great misconception, on the part of Adobe, that persons contacting them are very knowledgable about computers and their product.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Persons, like me, are only into ADE because that is how our library transfers books from their shelves to our E-readers.  When we finally figure out how to get onto chat, we are told that Adobe does not support this particular product and go to Adobe forums.  When we go to forums we are told to contact staff, with no instructions as to how to contact staff.  If it was not for the fact that I pay membership to the library and want to read my books, i would not ever bother with Adobe or ADE.  But I, and others like me, are stuck.  I am not the only one who pays over a hundred dollars for an E-Reader and then am unable to get satisfaction in getting it set up.  I am not the only one with the error message that I have exceeded my allowance of units for ADE.  I

I have problems with my ADE. It works fine as long as the Kobo ereader is not connected.As soon as I connect my ereader ADE no longer works.What can I do to solve this because I am unable to transfer books from my library to my ereader.

I've seen some more people with this issue but no solutions...The situation is: Our Mac had a new harddrive installed last september due to issues, I copied back my account details from a Time Machine backup, (no programs). Today I installed Adobe digital editions but it’s somehow authorized to an much older version of my Adobe ID, using an old e-mail address I no longer use and don’t have access to or have a password for (it’s deleted), so de-authorizing is also not an option.Also I can’t add a new authorization so I can’t access my e-reader which is authorized with my current e-mail address.How can I remove this older authorization version of my ID?

I can't transfer ebook from pc to Galaxy S4 tablet.  PC doesn't display Galaxy as an available device.  Do I have to install adobe ade on the Galaxy?

Using a MacBook Pro, have newest version of ADE installed and need to deauthorize it. It has an old computer authorization in there as the Authorized User (AdobeID) that I no longer have access to - it's an old email address. I have no idea what the password is, can't do a reset since I don't have the email anymore.I tried removing ADE and reinstalling, but it pulled the old authorization info from somewhere. I do have a new Adobe ID and email I want to use instead. How do I get rid of the old one if I can't remember the password??

I'm a student and I'm trying to download my etext. It will not let me because I did not sign up under "Campus ebookstore". Is there anyway I could change my account to a vendor ID/password?

Hi All,I installed Adobe Digital Edition on Server 2008 R2 XenApp 6.5 Farm. I authorized the product using company Adobe ID but when user is launching the published app, Adobe Digital Edition is not authorized. When I attempt to download a book from my local library I get a message indicating that I have no permission to copy the book and when I try to open a book on my Kobo Reader it tells me that this document could not be opened. I have tried deactivating and then reactivating on the Help tab in ADE but that did not work.

I am unable to open library books on my Kobo.  I get a message saying this document is protected By Adobe DRM and is not currently authorised for use with your adobe ID.  This is new as I have been using the Kobo for about 3 years now.  I have uninstalled ADE 2.0 and installed ADE 3.0 as advised by Kobo.  I have deauthorised the ID on both computer and Kobo and then reauthorised the ADE ID on both.  Still no luck.  Books open fine on the pc but won't open on Kobo.  I contacted Kobo who say the problem is not with their device.  Any help please?
