how do I get adobe digital editions to transfer e book to nook glowlight plus

Hi! When I connect my Kobo Glo ebook reader to my computer (windows 😎 , the ebook reader starts charging (as it should), but when I open Adobe Digital Editions to transfer ebooks, it doesn’t show the ebook reader at all. I can only copy books in a new shelf. The problem started when I finished my last book and wanted to open a new one (already installed on Kobo), it showed the error Adobe authorisation failed… I could no more open any ebooks at all. As all I tried did not work, I reset the Kobo reader to the original setting and then wanted to connect it to ADE to transfer the ebooks again. But ADE doesn’t detect that the ebook reader is connected. What can I do?

My computer crashed and had to be reformatted.  I re-installed Adobe Digital Editions and registered it on my new e-mail address.  No I get the above error message when I try and dowload my purchased books from Mills & Boon.  Can you please help me to rectify this, to enable me to download these books?Thank you so much.Elsahvk

Hi.Recently, when downloading books from ebooks.com I was told that I didn't have an Adobe account.  This wasn't the case but couldn't continue without one so I went ahead and created one.Now my sony eBook doesn't work and I cannot open any new books on my computer.How do I delete my new account and revert to the old one?Any assistance would be gratefully received.Thanks,mark.

I have read as many Blogs and links as possible but still I have trouble.  I understand the DRM issues, are blank pages DRM Issues?  I have deleated the original Files from iTunes a Downloaded again fresh and still I get no where.  Any help really appriciated!!

I just downloaded the ADE app (on my iPad), but for some reason the app is set to German. My German is really bad, and I can't find language settings anywhere. I am assuming Einstellungen means settings, but there are no settings there. It is really confusing. Is there way to change the language to English?Thank you in advance!Lia

I use ADE mainly for importing library books into my computer.On my old computer it imported the books into the Borrowed folder no problem.When they expired they either disappeared or I deleted them. Just leaving the books  still on loan.However since buying a new computer all that has changed.It imports the eBooks into the All items folder (there is nothing in the Borrowed folder now)Also it imports 20 or 30 books that have been deleted months ago every time I open the programI delete them again but they still come back!Can anyone help please?I have uninstalled and re installed ADE but no change.

I’ve installed ADE 4.5.3 on my Windows 10 laptop and can download and read some of the books in the “Adobe Sample eBook Library” but most only provide a URL to download and I can’t see how to access those. Examples:  “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” is downloaded fine (a 1MB acsm file) and I can read it using ADE, but when I click to download “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” I just get a URL (1KB acsm file), which I can't seem to add to my Library or open in any way. Any advice?

I'm getting the message "Error! Check Activation" when opening epub books downloaded from the library. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but continue to get the message. What should I do?

How do I access or transfer/duplicate the publications currently stored in Digital Editions (on my work computer) on my home computer? I downloaded the Digital Editions software and signed in successfully, but my publications don't appear. I have read that you can access your material from several devices. I have books that I have purchased which I can access at my work desktop, but I would like to work from home as well. Help me Obi-Won-Knobe, you're my only hope!!!

So when I try downloading a E book I purchased from Human Kinetics – Physical Activity and Health Publisher I get a pop up that says, " the settings on this page are not applicable to google chrome or chromium based browsers"There is a link to Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Website Storage Settings panel  , but still nothing I change allows me to download the e book.I've been at this for hours!!!! someone please help.

I'm trying to transfer two books from Adobe Digital Editions to my Nook (1st Gen). I attached the Nook to my Mac with the USB cord. It showed up in Adobe Digital Editions. When I try to add the books to my Nook, I get the error message "No permission to copy the book." The First to Read website claims that their Digital Galleys are compatible with Nook. Why am I getting this error?

J'ai changé une première fois mon ID Adobe parce que j'avais eu un présumé vol d'identité. J'ai changé une deuxième fois parce que j'ai changé de fournisseur de services. Maintenant, je ne suis plus capable de télécharger les livres que j'ai achetés sur Archambault à Montréal au Québec. J'ai téléphoné à ce magasin, on m'a répondu que c'était Adobe qui n'avait pas fusionné mes ID. Je ne vois aucun chat ou numéro de téléphone où je pourrais m'adresser pour faire fusionner ces comptes. En attendant, j'ai payé des livres pour les lire sur une liseuse Kobo et une autre Reader de Sony et je ne peux le faire. Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider à ce sujet? 

i got a new hdd in my pc. it was mirrored from the old one.now i can't open my e-books. i get following error:"Dokument ist für ein anderes Benutzerkonto lizenziert" (document is licensed for an other user-account) but it's the right user account. i only have one!!! i also can't delete the authorisation in "adobe digital editions".how can i register the the new hdd in my pc???  https://www.dict.cc/englisch-deutsch/%5BBr.%5D.html

Trying to open a PURCHASED book in digital editions, and all I get is "this book is expired and cannot be opened" How do I retrieve MY book? Apparently the book in question is only saved in my DE library, as I can't find it elsewhere. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I gave my son my old computer and he wants Digital Editions for his nook to download library books.  Unfortunately it opens to my activation and we want to set up an account for him.  How does he  deactivate on the computer so he can set it up for himself?

I hope anyone can help me ! I just purchased an ebook . To put it on my ereader and computer I had to install adobe digital editions so I did. When I saw the adobe ID popup I dismissed it and clicked on anonimous autharisation. I did not know yet that I needed the ID autorization to be able to move the ebook to pc and ereader. Now I have the ebook in Adobe Digital Editions but can not move it to my computer nor to my ereader. How can I restore this ? I do have an Adobe ID ,but how can I connect that again or restore the autharization with my ID so that I will be able to move the ebook to my pc and ereader ?

An EPUB file was previously authorized using an Aldiko-Feedbooks DRM account. When I try to open it in ADE i get a message stating that it needs to be authorized using a Vendor ID. ADE then asks for the Vendor ID and password. When  I enter this info, as used on the Feedbooks.com website, I get this message:Can somebody help? Is this a login/password problem? Or is ADE using outdated links to the vendor?Thanks in advance./Ulf

I delete the book from Adobe, my Nook and my computer files; it reappears in multiples, in Adobe and my computer files.  I've tried everything, deleting and re-downloading from my local library; redownloading Adobe Editions; de-authorizing and reauthorizing.  It seemed to be a Nook problem to begin with:  error dialog about the book being returned.  Not.  Well, not at that time anyway.  I can read the book on my computer from my Nook, but not the Nook itself (yes, I've contacted B&N.  They seemed dumber than I!!!!!)My computer is a mess (old windows system)...on my shopping list.  Meanwhile...
