i just updated to a new kobo reader  I can't open the library book on my ereader once I transfer it from Adobe Digital Editions to my new kobo ereader.  in my ereader settings I have adobe authorized.

ADE is working perfectly anda I can read some epub but some of them the book text doesn´t appear. Everything else works: I can see the contents, when I choose a topic in the content menu, I can see the page indicator moving to the correct page but no text appears. Also no messages. Other epubs works perfectly.@11075446 can I do to fix the problem?

Good Morning, I am a Library Tech Intern in Ontario and many of our patrons from our Library, as well as other libraries have had a great deal of difficulty with transferring their e-books from the OLS website to their Kobos using Adobe Digital Editions. Situation 1: If they access OverDrive via the app the books open in the app and then can't be transferred to the Kobo (one device limit). I haven't found any way to get around this issue. It's not too bad if they are on a tablet - they are generally going to read on the device. But with newer versions of Windows computers, the app functions as it would on a tablet, with no option that I can see that allows to download without opening in the app.To fix, the patron has to get to OD through a web browser to download their OD books. Not so bad, but is confusing for some patrons.Situation 2:  Error Code 2038 Now giving Error Code 2038 on all attempted eBook downloads from my OLS account. I have been trying to download a book for hours. It keeps saying fulfilling (downloading content). The book is not that large. I've tried on multiple devices and can't get my book downloaded. I paid a lot of money for this ebook! Can someone please tell me what to do?

Hi, I downloaded a book from Wiley today, installed ADE, and imported the .acsm file.It says that this computer is not authorized to open the book because this item is authorized to a vendor id. I have provided the correct adobe ID and password and it says that the vendor account that you entered is not associated with the item you are trying to open.I've spend half a day troubleshooting. Please advise.

I fulfilled a number of purchased ebooks in my library on ADE 4.5.3 for Windows using .acsm files.Due to some complications I mistakenly imported a number of  these .acsm files multiple times.The result is that the books now appear multiple times in my library.Although I have tried to delete the duplicate entries from within ADE, they always reappear the next time the library syncs.Is there any way to remove them permanently?Thank you very much in advance.Regards

Hi,i have a ebook, which i want to print with adobe digital editions.Printing is not forbidden for this ebook.In the internal reader i see all of the pageWhen i print, there is missing content on the right and bottom.My paper is german A4.I tried with different computers, different printers and different ebooks.It's always the same, something on the right and bottom is cut.Am i doing something wrong ?Michael

When trying to download epub books from my library Overdrive account to Digital Editions, the book appears in DE but I get an error message stating "Unable to open.... Errors were encountered in this item" it then gives the file path.  Within DE when I view the item info it states "Viewing: On any device" until loan expiry, "Copying: not allowed, Printing: Not allowed".  When I try to drag the book into the device it states "CE copying not allowed - no permission to copy the book".My Windows PC is authorised via Overdrive, as is the Kobo e-reader.  When I check the file location in the error code the book is there.  I've tried saving it elsewhere & then adding it to DE, but I get the same errors.  I've tried downloading different books to it but get the same errors.  I've tried de-authorising & re-authorising the device & the computer.  I've also tried uninstalling & reinstalling DE.... I downloaded a book to ADE and can open and read on my computer. I can transfer it to my Nook but it won't open. I don't have this problem when I open an EPUB book from the test library at ADE.

Hi,I use ADE on both Windows 8/10 and Android and want to be able to relocate the My Digital Editions folder (in Windows) and Digital Editions folder (Android) to an installed memory card instead of having the folders reside in the memory where ADE is installed.For Windows I was able to relocate my Documents folder to my OneDrive folder, which I had already set up on the installed memory card.  When I relocated my Documents folder to OneDrive the ADE My Digital Editions folder was moved along with it to the installed memory card and I have the benefit of having the My Digital Editions folder backed up in the cloud on OneDrive.In Android I've heard someone say that if I install ADE onto the memory card then the folders will be created on the memory card, which is OK if it works.  You do pay a performance penalty when the application starts up though.Would it be possible for Adobe to add a setting to ADE for all platforms which would allow you to specify the location of the My

I can no longer download from my library.  The book appears on my computer, but when I try to open it, this is the message I get:This just started happening.  I tried downloading another book, and got the same message.Now, every time I open Adobe, I get another message that a download has not completed, but when I try to complete it, this message comes up again.

When I try to erase authorization from my computer, I receive an error saying my password is incorrect. Can I get help to remove the authorization? Thanks

I bought it without an ID in Adobe editions and I downloaded it in my dad's account. Now I am t university and can't open the file as that error comes up. I downloaded a book from library, but get following message:   Network is connected, Adobe reader has latest update. For a nano second I see title of book flashing on my computer screen (Mac) and then this message appears. Can somebody help me out here? Contacted Barnes & Nobles support, it seems that they do not know how to fix it. At least the suggestions I get do not really address this problem.

I am experiencing crashes with version 4.5.2.  In my case it is only 1 (one) book that causes the crash, both on fulfilling the book, and then attempting to open it when it appears after restarting.  All other books are fine.What is also curious is that I created a second new Windows account on my machine (running Windows 10) and on THAT account the particular book causes no problem!  However, my original Windows account is packed with reams of stuff and I am not wanting to ditch it.I have tried numerous efforts to correct this:1) de-authorizing and re-authorizing my computer.2) downloading new .acsm files3) uninstalled ADE, removed every trace of it from the Windows registry and from my user "appdata" folders, and re-installed ADE4) transferred the book file from the working Windows account to the original Windows accountNone of these efforts have worked, and again, it only this one book that causes the problem.  It seems that something in my Windows user account i

I am struggeling with an ePub book. It´s a reflowable book set in ePub 2.01, exported from latest version of Indesign CC. My problem is that the images looks fine in iBooks but in ADE the images are stretch in height. Why? How to avoid? Please help!Insert settings of export here:First three are object style settings. I reinstalled ADE because that is what a Google search told me to do if it was saying that it was unauthorized....even though it was authorized.....when trying to add a book I had downloaded from my public library.After installation - still won't let me add the book to then put it on my nook. Tried to deauthorize the computer because it is authorized with an old email address and it won't let me do that either. Someone help!

Fault reads as "you can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. please try again" this computer had repairs then was reloaded & now authorization doesn't work?
