Can anyone help??  My 3M library app won't download an e-book.  Says I need to deactivate a device to enable e-book downloads.

I have tried to transfer books from my local library e books through my lap top ( windows 10)  to a Kobo e-reader but keep getting "activation error" flag.  This has only recently started happening.  I have successfully transferred books before.

I already have downloaded books on my desktop computer but I just bought a android tablet & I would also like to read these books on it. How do I go about it.

Hello,I have get rid of my old mobile without de-authorizing it. Since the books I bought are available only for 3 device, I already reached the limit and I cannot download it in my new mobile. Is there any way how can I delete authorization from old device? Does it help to download the books in my new device?Thank you.

Hi I'm a teacher.  I  purchased an ebook from an educational publisher (Heinemann).  I was advised that Adobe Digital edition was needed to view book.  I can't even download it.  Is anyone familiar with error and know how to proceed?

I do not have access to the email account and password on my account.How do I change this information to my current email address?

I have been having problems with my Kobo reader. I had to change my old email address to a new one, but this meant that I had to completely reset the ereader and also unauthorise and reauthorise ADE. Unfortunately I had a lot of books on the ereader that were not Kobo, but I had purchased before. I am now unable to access these as it is asking for my ADE ID, but these were purchased with a different email and ADE ID. Is there any way at all to access these books or are they completely lost?Thanks.

I have downloaded the Digital Editions app on my Ipad mini 4.  I logged into my library account on Safari and chose to open the library book I borrowed in Digital Editions.  The link takes me to the application and has me authorize my account.  After I enter my user name and password I get an error message titled"Connection Error Detected" with the following message, "Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet."  I've tried deactivating/activating my account which did not fix the problem.  Not sure why I am receiving this message and I have access to the internet as I was on the library website.  Any troubleshooting suggestions?

I want to reset autorisation. Trying to delete my autorisation by Shift-Ctrl-D and so on shows the followingError  "Autorisierung kann nicht gelöscht werden. Versuchen sie es später erneut"

When trying to open my ebook on another computer (I have no problem with authorization) an error message pops up "Errors were detected on this element" (my problem is actually in French but I tried to translate it)

I did a clean installation of a newer operating system on my mac. Then, I installed the latest version of Kindle. It showed me my library and could easily download the books I purchased earlier. However, after downloading, installing and authorising ADE, nothing happened. Where is the option to download my books again?

When I click on the link to download Adobe Digital Edition 3.0 Macintosh I just recieve an error message saying the link is not valid and that the page cannot open. What is the problem? Upon downloading a library book in ePub format to Digital Edition, I get an "Error! Check Activation." message. After uninstalling and reinstalling, with no success, I contacted customer support who tried to have me unauthorize and reauthorize the device. While attempting that, I got an "Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try again after some time." error message.At this point, I was told by the support agent that the problem wasn't their fault and that I needed to contact the forum - which is what I am now doing. We cannot do anything with digital editions making it entirely useless so help is much needed.

Have not been able to open library books on my Kobo device.  Receiving message: This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID.  Please sign in with the authorized Adobe ID and try again.  Have done as requested but still cannot access downloaded item.  Felt this was an Adobe issue so am starting here for help.

Hi there, I'm on a PC, Windows 10, and I've had no trouble in the past, but today ADE won't open. It appears to be open but when I click on the icon no window appears. I've tried re-downloading ADE and I've tried restarting the computer. I don't really know what else to try. I'd be grateful for any assistance!Clare

This seems like an obvious question but I'm having trouble finding an answer. I use ADE to download library books, first to my PC and then to my Nook. A recent download was a large guide book (170K) and after that I found out the basic Nook (Simple Touch) only has about 250K for ADE books. I decided to add a 16 GB Micro SD card to the Nook. When I connected the Nook to my PC, Windows Explorer shows the Nook and a Removable Disk (SD Card). ADE only shows the Nook as an attached device. I decided to download a number of large books. The only way I could do it was to use ADE to download it to the Nook where they would end up in the Nook's Digital Editions folder and I would have to drag and drop the EPUB onto the Removable DIsk (SD card) using Windows Explorer so I would have enough room to download the next book. Is this the only way to do this? Is there any way for ADE to recognize the SD Card? In my "borrowed" folder of library books in ADE, the books that I had to move onto the SD car

I am using Adobe digital editions 4.5 on a Windows 10 operating system. I am getting the message "User Not Authorized" when I try to move a book from digital editions 4.5 to a nook. My wife and I share a computer and have different nooks and so the nook ID and the computer ID are different I have reset my password.  I then went to digital editions "HELP" to Erase Authorization, and my user ID ends with " | OVERDRIVE". I am told via an Adobe chat session that I need to de authorize and re authorize my computer. I would like some guidance on how to do this.  Thanks

All of a sudden I can't open library books I've transferred from ADE onto my Nook.  I get a "loan token update failed" message.  My Adobe DRM settings are fine.  I don't know what to do, I waited a long time on hold for this book and now I can only read it if I sit in front of the computer.  Help!!!!

After downloading the ACSM file from my library I click on it and get "Error getting License License Server Communication  Problem: E_STREAM_ERROR:I also tried to install Adobe Digital 4.5 and get a install error after I updated .netDoes anyone have a fix?

I recently upgraded to Digital Editions 4.5 but then found that there is an incompatibility between the Kobo Glo, ADE and Kobo Desktop. The solution to this incompatibility is to go back to ADE 3.0. I uninstalled ADE 4.5, restarted my laptop, downloaded and installed ADE 3.0 successfully and now when I run ADE 3.0 I immediately get an error message saying "ADE 3.0 has stopped working. Windows is searching for a solution." and then that message disappears.Help. I need to get ADE 3.0 running again so that I can access my library books.
