Digital Editions

I have downloaded a couple of Epub books fro my local library. When I try to load them into ADE I'm getting the error:Error getting License.License Server Communication Problem: E_STREAM_ERROR:I'm using version 2.067532This has been going on for several days.

I'm using Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.2, My computer is activated to an old e-mail address that I no longer have access to and don't know the password. Is there any way to deactivate the computer so that I can reactivate it to my new e-mail?

when downloaded a book and tried to open on Adobe digital editions, got "error! check activation" even though I provided my adobe ID for authorization.my computer shows as Authorized, but cannot open the book

I Uninstalled, then downloaded 4.5.1; but program won't open.  Troubleshooting leads to the Comment that "DigitalEditions is Incompatible"

Hi,I recently purchased an ebook from university bookstore. I downloaded the file and got an ACSM file. I tried adding this file into the ADE, but it showed: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERI recall using this ebook under the same account on a different computer, but I don't think that should affect my access since the other computer has already been reset.Thanks,Steven

Installed latest version, but unable to download library book due to the following messagePlease advise how to correct.

It's been a while since I used ADE but am pretty sure when I downloaded books before they went into a folder on my PC called My Digital Editions as part of the install, where all the books I'd added to the library were stored.Have just installed ADE on new laptop and found the book opens and I can read it within ADE but the Add To Library option is greyed out and therefore the book isn't in that folder.  When I click on the downloaded book, it simply launches ADE to read it there, which I don't really want to as I prefer another app on another more reader friendly device than my laptop.  The downloaded book is a free ARC from Netgalley but I'm not sure this is significant as I've had many of them previously which I could add to the library.  Any ideas?

Few days ago found I couldn't download books because of 'IO Error on Network Request'.  Did as suggested in forums eg  disable firewall, but with no effect.  I see there are other problems arising in last few days, is there going to be a fix sent out, we shouldn't have to mess around uninstalling/reinstalling.

Hello,A year ago I bought a book from online store. I read a little of it and recently I reinstalled my PC but I forgot to deauthorize the computer before doing this.Now I installed ADE again and signed in with my Adobe ID and password but it show me this error: E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USERI talked to the online store from which I bought the ebook and they told me that this happens when you authorize computer without signing with Adobe ID.Sadly I can't deauthorize the PC because it is reinstalled so please tell me what can I do about this problem.Thank you very much!

I get "Unable to Download. Error Getting License: License Server Communication Problem: E_STREAM_ERROR" . I did not do any different steps from what I've been doing before. This is the first time I got this message. I have the old version of ADE.

i cannot get books that are downloaded and readable in digital editions to open in my nook glow light plus.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled and unauthorized and reauthorized everything. Any tips?

My Adobe Editions keeps de-authorizing itself.I have it installed on my PC / Windows 10.  Whenever I log into 3M Cloud Library to borrow books I find that once I am out of it ADE has de-authorized my PC.  I then have to authorize the PC in order to borrow from Overdrive.  I am using the same Adobe ID to borrow books.  I am using a Kobo e-reader to read the books.  Neither Cloud nor Overdrive can offer a suggestion as to correct this.Looking for suggestions to resolve this.

i am unable to download books to Adobe Digital Editions.  This is a new problem,  I have been downloading for years.  I am receiving the following message:  Error getting License.  License server communication problem.Problem:  E_ACT_NOT_READYWhen I check Authorization Information it says " This Computer is Already Authorized".

I was using Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 for my old Nook. It broke so got new Nook GlowLight Plus. Someone told me to uninstall old Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 and install New Adobe Editions 4.5 which I did. When I bring books into my computer they show in the rt side of the screen but I don't see the Nook bar on the left column thus can't drag the book over to my nook. What am I doing wrong?

While doing multiple copy option in a file, the ADE (all versions) are stopped working suddenly. Can you please suggest a solution to resolve the problem.

so I can no longer download books from the library.  it says that I have an authorization issue???   I have reset my password and still it says that I can not erase authorization to reload this.  What do I do now?  I have been in tough with Adobe on several occassions, and now they tell me this forum is the only place that I can get answers.  I don't know why this is so dififcult.  I have been two weeks between the library and adobe trying to resolve this...

But I can't set "font-family". How it should be?

I've had a Sony ereader PRS-650 for a few years. I just had issues this week trying to download ebooks. Kobo told me to use Adobe Digital Edition to download books now.I download books from my public library using Overdrive.I have the Sony  ereader library, does this need to be removed from my computer?I've downloaded the latest version of Adobe Digital Edition. My computer and Ereader are synched/authorized with Adobe Digital Edition.When I download a book the same message appears (picture above) under my Sony Reader Library I click Yes, Choose Adobe Digital Edition, enter Adobe ID and password, then the warning message goes away and nothing is downloaded, with no error messages. The screen goes blank, see below. Shouldn't the download go to ADE under borrowed? then I just click and drag to the device PRS-650?Expert help is appreciated.

I am trying to open a book transferred from ADE to a Kobo reader. On three different books and two different readers, I get the same message, "Document protected by DRM and my device not currently authorized", I have contacted Kobo and followed their instructions to deactivate and reactivate both ADE and the reader. Error still comes up. Help!

I recently upgraded my computer and had all of my existing programs transferred over.  The first time I went to download a book from the library as an epub file, I got Error. Check Activation message.  Any suggestions?

Bought a new laptop and cannot download epub books like I used to be able to. I receive "Error! Check activation" Anyone know what causes this? I have already completed authorization process.
