Digital Editions

My Adobe Editions keeps de-authorizing itself.I have it installed on my PC / Windows 10.  Whenever I log into 3M Cloud Library to borrow books I find that once I am out of it ADE has de-authorized my PC.  I then have to authorize the PC in order to borrow from Overdrive.  I am using the same Adobe ID to borrow books.  I am using a Kobo e-reader to read the books.  Neither Cloud nor Overdrive can offer a suggestion as to correct this.Looking for suggestions to resolve this.

i am unable to download books to Adobe Digital Editions.  This is a new problem,  I have been downloading for years.  I am receiving the following message:  Error getting License.  License server communication problem.Problem:  E_ACT_NOT_READYWhen I check Authorization Information it says " This Computer is Already Authorized".

I was using Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 for my old Nook. It broke so got new Nook GlowLight Plus. Someone told me to uninstall old Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 and install New Adobe Editions 4.5 which I did. When I bring books into my computer they show in the rt side of the screen but I don't see the Nook bar on the left column thus can't drag the book over to my nook. What am I doing wrong?

He instalado en mi pc con W8 el adobe V4 y cuando le digo que autorice el equipo me aparece un mensaje diciendo que la contraseña o ID son incorrectos para el proveedor seleccionado. Sobra decir que la clave y el ID son los que son, de hecho con ellos es que entro a mi cuenta de adobe. Gracias

While doing multiple copy option in a file, the ADE (all versions) are stopped working suddenly. Can you please suggest a solution to resolve the problem.

so I can no longer download books from the library.  it says that I have an authorization issue???   I have reset my password and still it says that I can not erase authorization to reload this.  What do I do now?  I have been in tough with Adobe on several occassions, and now they tell me this forum is the only place that I can get answers.  I don't know why this is so dififcult.  I have been two weeks between the library and adobe trying to resolve this...

But I can't set "font-family". How it should be?

I've had a Sony ereader PRS-650 for a few years. I just had issues this week trying to download ebooks. Kobo told me to use Adobe Digital Edition to download books now.I download books from my public library using Overdrive.I have the Sony  ereader library, does this need to be removed from my computer?I've downloaded the latest version of Adobe Digital Edition. My computer and Ereader are synched/authorized with Adobe Digital Edition.When I download a book the same message appears (picture above) under my Sony Reader Library I click Yes, Choose Adobe Digital Edition, enter Adobe ID and password, then the warning message goes away and nothing is downloaded, with no error messages. The screen goes blank, see below. Shouldn't the download go to ADE under borrowed? then I just click and drag to the device PRS-650?Expert help is appreciated.

I am trying to open a book transferred from ADE to a Kobo reader. On three different books and two different readers, I get the same message, "Document protected by DRM and my device not currently authorized", I have contacted Kobo and followed their instructions to deactivate and reactivate both ADE and the reader. Error still comes up. Help!

I recently upgraded my computer and had all of my existing programs transferred over.  The first time I went to download a book from the library as an epub file, I got Error. Check Activation message.  Any suggestions?

Connection Error Detected Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment serverI keep getting this when i try to access my library resources. it's not the library because I actually have another account completely unrelated to the library accounts that is giving the same message.I am connected to the internet or would not be able to post this. Bought a new laptop and cannot download epub books like I used to be able to. I receive "Error! Check activation" Anyone know what causes this? I have already completed authorization process.

I can not remove an old authorization and the supposed password and id do not work and has not changed. its information (supposed password and id) I entered for my library and could not made it work on laptop or cellphone. And it never worked for my library books. cloudlibrary. now I need to add new Adobe ID authorization and cannot before removing the old authorization that does not work

Hi!I have a problem with my ADE since a week. I tried to download loans as I always do but I received this message Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:E_ACT_NOT_READYI deceided to update my ADE to the 4.5 version. Still the same message. Then I uninstall and reinstall everything, still nothing. I tried to erase my authorization but my adobe ID on my ADE is link to an old email address (inactive) that is not the current email address in my Adobe ID account.I'm using Mac OS X 10.12 Help please!Jess

Recently, I have been unable to download books from my local library site. I had DE 2.0 and a message saying streaming error. I upgraded to 3.0 and now the message says connection error, check to see that you are connected to the internet. All input from the Library didn't help either. I am using the computer at work and it is running Windows XP. Could that be the problem ? I have disabled my firewall while trying again and still no go. I hope someone knows what the problem is. I need to uninstall adobe digital reader 4.5 as it is not compatible with my kobo e reader. I also need to install the older version3.How do I do this?

I am getting the check activation error in ADE and am on Windows 10.  Trying to follow your steps to delete the registry key but when I right click on it to delete, I get the following error: Unable to delete all specified values.  What am I doing wrong?  Thanks!!!!

I guess I was dropped with old email after 7 years...have had Kobo change email and have changed it here (adobe) and new password BUT no one can tell me how to proceed. Kobo wants me to download Adobe (again) but why it is on the computer....so do I uninstall and then install or just give up and go buy a book???This has been on going since Saturday, wasted almost 4 hours in chat when I got told it was Kobos problem..

I  have tried all five of my e-mail addresses and you tell me they are all already in use.   That is simply not possible.   I had ADE on my previous computer but it crashed and now you will not let me re-install it.    I use the e-mail address and password I had previously; you say it is already in use.   So I try FOUR other ones, at least two of which you could not possibly have even see and you say it is already in use.   Please.   I did try just not authorizing it but when I tried to add a book I just borrowed from the  library, I got that nasty error message saying it could not be done.   So now what do I do?    How am I to put new books onto my reader?

I am trying to transfer a library book to my Kobo Reader and I'm getting an error message - CE_COPY_NOT ALLOWED - No permission to copy book.  Any help please, I am operating on Windows 10.
