Digital Editions

Hello,I authorized Adobe Digital Editions using no ID but just through my computer. Then I added 2 e-books. Then I remembered I have an Adobe ID. So I removed the two e-books, unauthorized the application, authorized it again this time with my Adobe ID and tried to add the two e-books again. But it gave an error saying:So I unauthorized the application again, trying to authorize through my computer (not my Adobe ID), thinking that this way maybe I could re-add the e-books. This did not work, so now I can't read my e-books and I just bought them today...How can I set the license of these e-books to my Adobe account? I have the receipt of my purchase with today's data and everything. Please help me. I need these books for school.

Everytime I have tried to copy a library book to my Kobo it says: 'CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book'. I looked at this forum: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2181412.. which then has gotten me onto the authorisation of my Adobe ID on the Adobe Digital Editions.Everytime I try to authorise it, it says: 'you can only authorise this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorise any other computer or mobile device. Please try again'. My Adobe ID is already used on a PC desktop. Is it possible to authorise on a MAC laptop as well (for use on holidays or when away from home) or can it only be authorised on one device at a time?UPDATE: I have been able to authorise both my Kobo and Adobe Digital Editions with the same Adobe ID but the error message 'CE_COPY_NOT_ALLOWED - No permission to copy the book' still comes up when I try to add the book to my Kobo...

J'ai installé ADE 4 sur un second PC sous windows 7. Malgré le fait que l'autorisation de la machine montre bien mon ID Adobe je n'arrive pas à ouvrir mes livres. Quand j'essaie d'effacer cette autorisation adobe me signale "Impossible d'annuler l'autorisation. Veuillez réessayer ultérieurement". Ce que je fais depuis 3 jours sans résultat.

In attempting to borrow library books, I have been instructed first to create an Adobe ID at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/membershp/index.cfm which I did. However, I was not prompted to authorize my reader. Without this authorization, my computer will not recognize my ereader. 

Hi, I need to transfer my ebook from the PC (windows) to the ereader, but absently I downloaded the file in the PC (in the ADE app, of course) without giving any authorisation.  Is there any way to put the authorisation now or solve this problem? Thanks!Elena

I bought an ebook that needs to be opened with ADE.The book works fine on my computer, but it won't sync with my phone. It can't find the book that I'm using on the computer and I need it to sync rather than having two versions of the book.Details:- I have a Mac- On my computer it is connected to my email account- On my Iphone it is connected to the same email account- The toggle to sync is on. - On my online account it says that there are no devices connected to my email- There are no error messages- The programme on the devices work fine independently.Please advise! I contacted Adobe Chat services and they said they were unable to help me, so I'm reaching out here now.Alternatively, if anybody can tell me how I can open the ebook (DRM though) on Ibooks that is alternatively appreciated.

Hi,I have authorized my eraeder (Kobo Glo) with ADE and I can transfer books to my ereader. But on my ereader I can't see these book. On the e-reader's display it says "not authorized with ADE". I have contacted Kobo support and have done all steps for fixing problems, but didn't work. I have reset e-reader; reinstalled ADE 4.5 and later on version 3.0; delete authorisation of computer and first authorized the e-reader. Kobo support directed me to Adobe support. Any clue how to solve this?thanks,Yeun

I went to the sample eBook library:Sample eBook Library | Adobe Digital Editions ePubs are available to download, but there is no indication if they are ePub3.Adobe can you provide a few DRM Protected ePub3 samples for testing?Many thanks.

Downloaded a library book to the hard drive.  When I tried to open it in Digital Edition 2.0 (i need 2.0 because it is a first generation Nook) got the following error: "Adobe Acrobat DC could not open "[title of book] .acsm" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged."   Don't care why or how this happened: just want to fix it.  Help!

Hello,I have an IPOD Touch and am hearing impaired. I have successfully used the VoiceOver feature with ibooks. I recently purchased an Ebook that requires the use of Adobe Digital to read. It works on my computer with my JAWS software, however when I downloaded it to my IPOD, it will open but it will not read the book. I also downloaded Bluefire but received the same result. I contacted iTunes and they tested it on a known good device and they received the same result.Any help you can give would be appreciated.Thank you

Hello,i bought the following book: Zarbock_Praxisbuch-Verhaltenstherapie_9783899674712I have downloaded it and accessed it on my macbook and on my iphone. I had to access it with a new ID when opening it on my iphone. Now I wanted to open it on my windows computer and I keep getting this message when wanting to login with my ADOBE ID:"Digital editions konnte keine Verbindung zum Aktivierungsserver herstellen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie mit dem Internet verbunden sind."My internet is working fine. How can I get access to the book on this computer?Best regards,Lioba

ADE was not working properly and so I deleted it from my imac and re downloaded it from the ADOBE website. I used the same email address and password and authorised it on my imac. However, all the previous books which I had downloaded have disappeared.How can i get them back?Any help you be appreciated.

It seems like every time I try to use a program that requires Flash Player while on the Edge browser I am prompted to either install or upgrade my Flash Player.  This has happened numerous times, including several today.  After I install Flash Player according to the instructions given, I get the same message again and never get to use the program in Edge.  What is going on?Bob De Line

I have a MAC and a new Glo Light Plus from Barnes and Noble I can no longer transfer Library books to my devise using  Adobe Digital editions 4.5. Does anyone know how to do this ? I activated an ebook with my laptop but without an Adobe ID. I unauthorized my laptop by mistake. Can you free the license so that I can register the ebook again or can I restore the authorization value when I have registred the book the first time?

I have previously been able to successfully down load books to Digital Editions but now I am getting the error message below every time I try and download a book.
