Digital Editions

I created an account and can't get authorized.It shows an error window.I don't right wrong email or password. 

I simply can't authorize my computer with Digital Editions. Every time I try, I get an E_STREAM_ERROR. I really need to get this working - can anybody help?

Currently using the mac 4.5.11 desktop version. Trying to read an ebook from the dawsonera server provided from BMA library (online medical textbooks). The ADE library fails to sync with my ipad so I've downloaded new links for the books. Library opens and authorises fine. Download starts and appears to complete (full bar) but then never actually opens? Perhaps the app crashes (see picture).  I've uninstalled, turned off my laptop, re-installed, downloaded new links... nothing works. Please help! Really need to study 😧

When will Adobe Digital Editions be updated and available to the latest devices?It's not compatible with android devices running version 13. Besides that I wish there was a website version, since it is otherwise unavailable to chrome OS devices.Is there a way around it through Linux?

Hi all,some time ago I activated an ebook with my account via the acsm file. Then I deleted this account since I forgot that this book was linked to it. Now, I created a new account with the same mail address but cannot link the purchase to my account:E_LIC_ALREADY_FULFILLED_BY_ANOTHER_USER. Is there any way to link the purchase I made with my new account to get the ebook back? Cheers,Dom

Hola.Compré unos libros electrónicos y para poder leerlos (según las instrucciones del vendedor) necesitaba descargar Adobe Digital Editions y vincular los libros a mi Adobe ID. Lo hice desde mi Windows y no tuve ningún problema, pero quiero poder leerlos desde mi Android. Intenté instalar Adobe Digital Editions desde la Play Store, pero me apareció "esta app no está disponible para tu dispositivo porque se creó para una versión anterior de Android". Y tengo Android 13. ¿Hay alguna alternativa en la que pueda leer desde mi teléfono móvil? Intenté leer desde Play Libros descargando uno de los libros desde la carpeta My Digital Editions de Windows, pero no me permitió leer nada (porque están vinculados a mi Adobe ID, creo yo).

Hello: Just installed DE and I think it's great for organizing scientific journal papers for researchers. I wonder if DE is (or will be) able to perform the following tasks 1. Arranging bookshelves. I added custom bookshelves. However they are in chronilogical order of time of addition, not in alphabetical order or other more logical order for search. Is there a way to change the bookshelf order? 2. Adding sub-bookshelves. Again, hierarchical structure will be good for easy and quick navigation to the right document. 3. For scientific document, important information that is useful to the readers are article title, author, "journal title", and keywords. If there is one more item of information can be added to put in journal title, or publisher, it would be nice. I can't figure out how to change the publisher information of an existing pdf document. Maybe it's unchangeable. All my document are "unknown" in the publisher information. Anyway, a software that shows great potential.

Why do the navagation areas, collum headings and other interactive features have to be black?Can you put a feature in that allows us to delete collums or hide them?When you remove a book in the library why doesnt the thumbnail go away in the "My Digital Editions Folder"Please if possible give us more control over interface pesonalization.

I have a Toshiba computer 1, Toshiba computer 2, Samsung phone and Samsung Tablet.In all I have downloaded Adobe Digital Editions.In some devices I have purchased or downloaded books, but my library is different in each device.How can see all the books of my library in ALL devices?With Amazon Kindle this is automatic and I dont have this problem.

I have been using Adobe Digital Editions for studying recently and I will not be using it anymore.I'm going back to the paper versions of my textbooks.Studying anything using Adobe Digital Editions is an exercise in patience and frustration. I have to wait almost 30 seconds to scroll to a new page in the textbook. Do you guys at Adobe have any idea how frustrating that is when trying to study? I am forced to use Digital Editions and am very unhappy with it.I have often wanted to scroll to a next page and had to do the following: Press the 'down' button on my keyboard 5-6 times, go to my kitchen for a drink of water, come back and wait for the page to finish scrolling. I also could have changed the size of the text to fit the page (which takes 4-5 seconds to do), press 'down' once, and then re-size the text again (which takes 4-5 seconds to do if the program doesn't freeze). Neither of these options is acceptable.Sometimes the program freezes completely and has to be forced to shut down

Hallo, Ich hab eine Adobe ID, die sowohl im Acrobat Reader DC, als auch auf meinem Tolino funktioniert.Wenn ich versuche mein Adobe Digital Editions mit der ID zu autorisieren wird mir aber immer angezeigt, dass die ID oder das kennwort falsch wäre. Das kann eigentlich nicht sein, da ich genau die gleichen Angaben mache, wenn ich mich zum Beispiel im Acrobat Reader einlogge. Ich hab schon alles mögliche ausprobiert, aber jedes Mal erscheint die Anzeige, dass mit den eingegebenen Daten eine Autorisierung nicht möglich ist.Die Autorisierung mit dem PC ohne die Angabe der ID funktioniert problemlos, bringt mich aber nciht weiter, da ich damit die Daten nicht auf mein Ebook verschieben kann. Ich hoffe hier die Lösung für mein Problem zu finden :s

My second Nook GlowLight recently broke, so I purchased a Kobo Clara HD. I have 3 ebooks I've purchased from Barnes & Noble in the last 18 months that I'd like to put on my Kobo. I downloaded the Nook app for Windows 10, & I downloaded each of the 3 books. I located the files & uploaded them into 3 different de-DRM apps, but the apps never recognized my B & N username &/or password. I updated my B & N password, logged out & in of B & N as well as the Nook app, restarted the apps, & uninstalled & reinstalled the Nook app to no avail. I tried using my full name & credit card number for the username & PW, respectively, but this didn't work either, even after confirming that the information I used was also listed as the default in my B & N account & on each book's order. I tried uploading the Nook files directly to ADE, but my username & unlock code for the books did not work. I tried every combination of my name--with &

J'ai une liseuse KOBO sur laquelle je peux télécharger et lire des livres provenant de la plateforme Cloudlibrary. Par contre, quand je veux télécharger un livre provenant de la plateforme Lirtuel, une fois le livre "glisser/copier" vers Kobo, celui-ci me dit que la liseuse n'est pas autorisée pour les livres avec DRM. Je ne comprends pas car avec Cloudlibrary cela fonctionne parfaitement. Où est le problème?

Bonjour, Lorsque je veux autoriser ma liseuse Kobo avec Adobe digital édition, on me met le message d'erreur suivant : E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS. Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'ai ce problème. On me dit de communiquer avec le service a la clientèle pour réinitialiser mon accès, mais il semble difficile de parler a quelqu'un pour ce problème. Ça commence a être frustrant d'avoir régulièrement des bugs pour simplement lire a livre... Bref quelqu'un peut m'aider 😊 merci

comment faire pour que adobe digital editions fonctionne sur mon ordinateur windows 10. Lorsque j'installe le logiciel pas de problème. dès que je veux ouvrir adobe digital editions 4, le logiciel me demande la conversion de la bibliothèque et reste avec la petite fenêtre ''chargement de bibliothèque'' sans aller plus loin. Comment faire?

Just downloaded digital edition my iPad. Ever second page is empty. I must day that reading experience is not high. Even the instruction book from Adobe works same..

Several days ago I bought 2 ebooks from bol.com. Downloading works but when I want to open it in Adobe Digital Editions, I receive a message "there are errors detected in this item". According to bol.com it's my problem because the books open perfectly on their computers. How can I open the books and transfer them to my ereader? 

My ADE application accplication is connected to the Adobe account I had years ago. I do not remember the password. I cannot deauthorize my computer and reauthorize it, which I need to do, as I ported my data over from my old MacBook Pro (running Catalina) to a new one (running Ventura). Without this, I cannot access acsm files on my Kobo.   All I need  is a clean version of ADE, so that I can uave it using my real read Adobe account email, but I can't seem to get there.    A similar post title has the reply "Never mind I sorted it out" which is not very helpful.     [Typos fixed by moderator]  

I am recieving the error message "E_ADEPT_USER_UNKNOWN" every time i try to authorize my ereader (NOOK color) in digital editions.  It is telling me to go to http://adeactive.adobe.com/adept/Active.  I did not find this to be of any help because the error message is not listed there.  It is also providing this "um:uuid4088dd0-5778-490b-df804a9c5989", I am not sure what this is.  At the top of the box it also says it is an "Activation server error".
