Digital Editions

We cannot transfer books to our eReaders because neither of our Kobo Libro H20's show up in the ADE sidebar. I have the latest edition. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have tried unauthorizing and reauthorizing. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the ereader per the instructions in the help file. No difference. Neither device shows up in ADE to authorize so I can't authorize either of them and can't transfer books. Help please?

Hola! No puedo pasar libros comprados en google a mi e_reader kobo. Cuando intento pasarlo de Adobe al kobo me aparece el mensaje "copy not allowed".Esto me pasa desde que cambié la notebook, a pesar que logré autorizarla y también desautoricé y volví a autorizar el e-reader. Al entrar con click derecho a la informacón del libro me aparece el mensaje "La licencía del documento es para un usuario diferente". El usuario de Adobe es la misma cuenta de gmail de siempre y la que uso en google para copmrar los libros, no sé qué más hacer!! Agradecería cuaquier sujerencia, saludos.

I bought a drm protected textbook and authorized my computer. I could then open the file normally. I then wanted to try to connect it to an account so i could open it on other devices so i deauthorized my computer and logged in with my account to authorize.  Then it wouldn't let me open that file saying it needs to be authorized, alright then, I deauthorized my account and authorized the computer like i did the first time around. I go back to open the file and same error, it says it's authorized to a vendor id, and it won't let me deselect the Adobe ID option in the dropdown menu. I'm very new to this so any help would be appreciated.

I have iOS 15.1 and digital editions 4.5.11.2When I try to download a book (for instance one of the sample ebooks offered by Adobe on the digital editions page) it downloads to my Files. If I try to open it in files it's a long string of code.I don't see an option in Digital Editions to add items or in Files to move things to that app.

Buenas tardes. Acabo de comprarme un tagus iris 2018 y me he dado de alta en el servicio de ebiblio. He tomado ebooks prestados sin problema y puedo transferir epubs y pdfs sin problemas al equipo a través del usb pero en cuanto necesito transferir los libros prestados por la ebiblio que, según creo, tienen drm, no hay manera. .Tengo que autorizar el tagus, intento hacerlo con mi id de adobe y una y otra vez me aparece este error. ¿Podría alguien ayudarme? Muchas gracias.

I had to download this Digital Editions to use an etextbook for college. However, I cannot scroll through pages at all in PDF format or as an ebook. I am on a Samsung running Windows 10. How can I resolve this issue? Bryan

When you receive this error message : E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS the help page of adobe state (this is a copy/past): If you received the error E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS, or run out of activations, contact us to have the activation count reset. So it CLEARLY say to contact adobe for a reset of your account. I had that probloem many times and each time I have to spend hours on the chat with adobe representative to make them understand that I already look at the help page of adobe and it say to contact adobe. That time, even if I already spend 3 hours talking with an adobe representative and copy/past to him what the adobe help page say, I wasn't abble to have my account reset. As a result, I think I will definitely return my electronic book that make me waist so much time with adobe cunsumer service.

¡Hola! Hace un año compré un libro digital que usé sin problemas en su momento con Adove Digital Editions. Mi ordenador era de sobremesa y tuve que descargarlo a traves de la casa del libro, ya que es con este programa y a traves de este sitio desde donde lo compre. No tuve ningun problema, y al final lo consegui. Ahora vuelvo a necesitar el mismo libro pero no puedo abrirlo, al intentar descargarlo en otro ordenador. La id de adobe es la misma, pero creo que he cambiado la contraseña. El programa me da error al obtener la licencia,  que hay un problema de comunicacion con el servidor de licencias. ¿Qué puedo hacer? Muchas gracias.

I've been reading a book which I can only download on Digital Editions for a university assessment and when I came back to it this evening, ADE had deleted all of my highlighting and notes, which has massively set me back. When I contacted the helpdesk, they told me to ask the forum, even though lots of people have posted the same thing with no solutions. They also told me that it wasn't possible for ADE to delete my highlights and notes?? which is clearly untrue because that was exactly what happened

I have not been able to download the books in my ebook for quite some time. I have a PAPYRE 6.1 and I can not dowload the books bought in my ebook.Every time I tried to download in my ebook, Adobe indicates copying but it never ended and eventually brokes.The program also closes suddenly when I access my device from it.

I have not used  Adobe  Digital Editions in Years & I think I might have deleted it from my old  PC before discarding it at a PC repair shop where they cleared the hard drive to rdecycle the  PC/. How do I get the products  page in my account to say  I am using no  Adobe apps?

Hi,My laptop ADE is currently authorised with a former email that doesn't exist anymore, say emmanuelle@msn.com When I want to deautorise, I don't remember the password so can't do it. When I log into my adobe account with this email emmanuelle@msn.com, it says this account doesn't exist, so I can't log in and change the password. The email doesn't exist anymore anyway.Even if I uninstall ADE on my laptop, when I reinstall it is already authorise with that non existent ID. And I can't deauthorise.What can I do please?ThanksEmmanuelle

I have to use Adobe Digital Editions to read a textbook. When the zoom is set to fit page, the text is too small. When I try zooming in, the scroll speed becomes unbearably slow. How can I increase the scroll speed?

ADE doesn't encourage changes of email address. Of course, in the real world, those happen a lot. The one in the account I use for ADE hasn't existed for a decade. Now, I've found that ADE is heading towards two-factor authentication. So, I've tried to sign in to my Adobe account on the Web, and I can't do it, because it's sending a verification email to a long-dead address. How do I recover access to my account and therefore keep my books, as I gradually replace my devices?

Good Day  I am trying to get access to my ebook license on a new hard drive because the old one is damged, i have had expirence with this but i was able to deactive the licesne form the previous device . Now I can not even do that, how can this be done 

Recently I've observed that my ebooks are not displayed correctly with some pages appearing blank or the text is not legible. I didn't know what happened with the software. Did anybody else has the same issue? Does anybody know the fix?

As far as I'm concerned, ADE is a mess that Adobe won't clean up because ADE is free, and therefore Adobe derives no revenue from it. Today's thoroughly modern corporation has only one goal: to increase revenue, The only revenue that is useful is revenue that continually increases, and therefore is unsustainable. I believe that the economic crisis that will make capitalism useless is already beginning, The limits of sustainability are imminent. ADE serves only one purpose - protecting DRM. I get most of my e-books from the Ohio Digital Library Online. Those books are downloaded in .ascm format. You can't make use of them without ADE. Despite it's formidible shortcomings I have to use ADE. I have no choice in the matter. I don't use Kindle - I will never use Kindle. Kinle is a hustle, a scam. The ODLO allows you to download ebooks in Kindle format, but it has what amounts to a warning: 'Report Kindle Book Problem'. I have a lot of ebooks, I have the complete works of 17 writer

My organization is using the FortiClient application for the purposes of identifying security vulnerabilities in applications. It has identified log4net.dll as installed by the most recent version of Adobe Digital Editions for windows as a security vulnerabilty. It categorizes it as critical. Is there an update on the way that would eliminate this vulnerability? Thanks! S. Denny

Good morning everyone, i have a problem with an ebook bought and it's important fot my graduation.i bought the ebook and downloaded it without an account so i could read it only in one device,  but then i tried to create an account in order to have the ebook also in my cellphone and then i didn't find theebook anymore. if i tried to download it again ADE tells me "e_lic_already_fulfilled_by_another_user".can anyone help me? or ahould i buy the ebook again using another address and computer?Thank you. 

J'ouvre ADE 4.5.11Je vais à fichier "ajouter à la bibliothèque.je clique sur  "message Adobe content server"les titres s'affichent .je sélectionne un titre et je fais ouvrir.Il s'affiche dans le biblioroomet tout se bloque je dois faire ctrl+alt+supp pour fermer le programme je suis dans l'incapacité de lire les livres ou de les transferer sur ma liseuse
