Hi AllWith my last laptop when I used to write width in an image, it was auto-completed by Dream when you write the first ".But on the new laptop it doesn't work anymoye.Where is this option please ?Thank you in advance.Fabien

I have recently started coding with Dream Weaver again.  When I start to type the code, there is an extreamly long lag (about 2 seconds) for the code to apear on the screen. From what I can gather it has something to do with it trying to auto predict what I am typing.    I am running the latest verstion of Dream Weaver My system specs are: Windows 10 Home Version 1909 Processor: Intel Core i5-9300h CPU @ 2;40 GHz Installed RAM: 8.00GB   Is there away to get rid of this lag, or should I be looking for another option for coding to avoid the time waisted on this lag?

good afternoon, everyone,   like most of you, I work with my nose in the handlebars, and, it's true that I receive a lot of mail daily, so it took me almost ten days to realize that I wasn't receiving any more mail from the Dreamweaver forum???? I haven't changed anything to my Adobe account preferences. (I still recieve prerelease mails, ACP's too...)   Please Does anyone has an idea ?... can't we subscribe for a mail follow-up anymore ? I have somewhat limited knowledge of web development, however, I am funding a new website concept and I am researching the best methods for development and deployment.I have used Dreamweaver in the past and would like to use it for develoment of the static content of the website.  The website being developed will be very traffic intensive, with lots and lots of video and audio being transferred.For the dynamic part of the website, I was considering Python, so in essence we will be using dreamweaver and python running together with dreamweaver delivering static content and python delivering dynamic content.does this make sense.  Everything I am reading suggest that dreamweaver may be somewhat slower when delivering dynamic content.  Please correct me if I am wrong.If using python for dynamic content, would you use Django as the framework.It is almost certain that dreamweaver will be used, just trying to figure out how best to develop the dynamic part of the website.Thanks

Hello. For some reason, when I create new links in the "skat News and Updates" area, they are turning out dark green instead of the bright green like the other links. I have looked at the code and there doesn't seem to be any difference. Can anyone tell me what the issue is? They are appearing this way on different devices.www.rideskat.org

This error message pops up when opening some of my html files in a Dreamweaver site: While executing onLoad, the following JavaScript error(s) occurred:At line 75 of file "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Freamweaver 2020\Configuration\Commands\Date_beforeSave.htm":docElement has no properties Using Dreamweaver cc 2020 I navigated and opened the htm file.  The code at line 75 is: allText = docElement.outerHTML; // re-fetch I barely keep up with ccs code, but really don't know what's wrong with the java code here or is it something in the site html file that I am opening that is having a problem with this java code?  This file with line 75 seems to be doing something with checking save dates.Attached a screen shot of several code lines before and after line 75.

For a few days now I have had the problem that the input of code is extremely delayed. The cursor takes a long time to assume the new position and the display of the text is delayed. You can't work like that. I set all parameters to default, but there is no effect. Please help me. Has anyone ever had this?

My computer closes it automatically. I tried on other pc's  -- windows 7 and 10 latest version.  2gb ram etc etc all specs I need and it keeps closing.   [Edited by moderator for clarity.]

I just downloaded the most recent version of Dreamweaver (20.2 for macOS), but when building a page, as soon as I save the file, the code disappaers. The correct results of the code do show up in the Live view (or even in the Previw pane of the Split View), but the code itself is nowhere to be found. Can anyone please help?

A few years ago I did a lot of PHP/MySQL web development for my site. MAMP is set up on my computer, the local database is set up, everything works just fine if I go to http://localhost/mstrg.com/main/ to preview a new template for the site. Here's proof: The only thing I have done to this template so far is to load it up in the "main" subdirectory, copy the files, and change the extension to PHP.   When I open the page in Dreamweaver, even though the testing server is properly set up, most of the template shows up in the preview (live), it's just missing all of the images and it doesn't scale properly. If I choose preview in any browser I get this mess and look at the URL. Where did http://127.0.0.1:56565/preview/app/index.html come from? The file name is index.php and it's in the main subdirectory. Entering the localhost URL works just fine. Everything comes in as it should. It doesn't matter what file I am previewing the file name always comes up the same.&nbs

Using Homesite 5 with Windows 10. No problems until a couple of weeks ago when the Validation Results window was suddenly free-floating instead of inserting itself as a bottom pane (as for example the Extended and Special Characters window does).  I can move the Results window to the bottom of the screeen, but this covers up the file names of my open documents. Suggestions welcome as to how to get back to how it was!

HelloI meet an issue while lauching DW on my MacBook Pro (Catalina 10.15.6). Process stops quickly and the following message appearsIt says that some library are missing and in order to fix this I need to re install the app.I do not know what i'm doing wrong, but despite several install & uninstall tries, nothing changes. Same message each time.It works fine on my iMac with exactly the same configuration... 😞 May anyone of you help me on this issue ? I can see within my MacBook's hidden library folder that both of Dreamweaver 2020 and Dreamweaver 2020 backups are empty, but I can't fix that.Many thanks for your help.Rémy

I have created a manual slide show from a template and realised that one of the images is too large for the background. I resize the image in Photoshop and submit that in Dreamweaver using Put. I examine the slideshow template and the image appears to be resized and fit the template. I  submit hat template in Dreamweaver using Put and the open it using . my Microsoft mbrowser but it is still the pre- resize size, although it looks fine in Google. I'd be grateful for Help please. I've tried local searching folders usind Microsoft for dwsynch files but there are none. Here's the Google version  

First, with the monthly fees that we pay, it would be really great if we can send an email to a support with a screen shot so we can get answers. Oh well. 1. I do not know my passwords. I use a password program to get long passwords. It would be nice if Adobe would let me paste the password rather than have to re-type it. 2. I used Dreamweaver a few days ago and it thinks I am on a new machine where nothing that I know of changed. So I have to log out of my Mac Mini (which is this device) so I can continue using Dreamweaver on this device, my mac mini.   

I am a semi-luddite in regard to code, however I have managed to successfully build a site in html (yes, I was told no one does that anymore). I have a contact page that asks for Name, Address, and Comment. I don't know how to get it to send the information to me. I worry that my email will be exposed to spammers and don't know enough about how to prevent that. I have been doing research, but my eyes begin to cross when reading coding instructions on sites, and I just don't understand it. Can someone either point me in the direction of clear instructions for newbies, or actually give me the code that I can put in my document? I used DW's form feature to make the three text boxes. In fact, I'll add the code below if that would be helpful. im using dream weaver for the first time. i am using the split screen option, i am able to imput code on the code screen. the live screen barly works, sometimes the code comes up, sometimes it does not, and only if i constantly save and save again, otherwise nothing shows up at all. i am also unable to edit anything from the live screen. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
