Bonjour, Dans Dreamweaver 20.2 le Rechercher-Remplacer ne fonctionne pas; qu'en est'il? Merci de votre aide.
Is it just my imagination or is the forum in 'melt down' again? Some posts seem to have gone missing, posts which appear to be meaningless, such as this one https://community.adobe.com/t5/dreamweaver/re-how-to-display-text-when-hovering-button/td-p/11260203?page=1 plus old posts which keep showing up? Anyone else currently experiencing irratic forum behaviour?
Hey eeryone - ok my team of developers has CC and Captivate. We use Captivate to create SCORM compliant web sites and it can be used by strong or weak developers alike. But out core developer team finds the program very frustrating - the WYSIWYG interface and hand holding Advanced Actions are too binding. We have tried to use Javascript with it, with a variety of success. But for me, I see an amazing tool just sitting there that we could be using - Dreamweaver. We all know what Dreamweaver can do, but I find it amazing that it as far as I know, cannot add a SCORM interface. Surely I am missing something. Captivate just produces a website, compiling everything into a giant CPM.js file. And wraps it in SCORM. Is there some way with CC2020 to do this Dreamweaver? thanks!
Do you still need to keep a current subscription of Dreamweaver CS6, when you upload the website to a server host? Or can you upload the website and then later ask for a refunded subscription?
On an old web site I was able to rollover a thumbnail and make a "base" image swap out to a larger version of the thumbnail (art site). I want to do this again on the current DW, but I can't figure out how to do it. I tried copying the code from the old site and replacing the names, but it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me with the code for this? I'll copy the existing code here in case that helps. Thanks so much for your attention to this request.<td width="75"><img src="images/pmb1-tn.gif" alt="pm1" name="pm1" width="75" height="75" id="pm1" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('base','','images/pmb1.gif',1)" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" /></td>Also, is there a link to a DreamWeaver manual? I'm having trouble finding one. Thanks again.
Hi All, I am trying to make a change to my site from the template page, and for some reason it isn't updating any of the child pages that are linked to it. It seems to allow me the option to update other templates I have in the site Template file (my backups), but won't allow access to the child pages in the site. Hope that makes sense. I have tried 'Recreating the Site Cache' and saving the file again in case it somehow became corrupt. Could this be related to the recent Dreamweaver update that came from Adobe? I haven't changed any of my settings and normally it works very smoothly. Any suggesitons are greatly appreciated! Kindly, Debra
I have recently updated my laptop to Windows 10. I updated my home page and uploaded it with changes to my web site using Dreamweaver 8. The updates do not show up on my web site even though I have tried it several times. (I have cleared the cache.) Please can you help?Thank youMary Ann
When clicked, the toggle menu does not expand to cover the entire screen. How do I lose the margins or padding on the expanded menu and how to center the search form? Also on Chrome there appears to be a blue outline around the toggle icon.https://westsideobserver.com/Blank.html
Just uploaded new site to bluehost server and the site is not responsive on their end, only shows desktop view. The site works perfectly on adobe preview - mobile, tablet and desktop.Spoke with bluehost and they said it isn't on their end that it is in the developer end,Any suggestions?
OK I'm stumped. After updating DW on my PC earlier this month I was getting the menus.xml error on startup. Deleting menus.xml and renaming menus.bak to menus.xml didnt fix the issue. Uninstalling DW and reinstalling after using Adobe CC Cleaner tool is also not fixing the problem. Im losing a lot of production time from this and dont really know where to go now. Can anyone shed any light on this please?
🙂Nathalie
I am having a problem with a website that I designed that is not working on larger screens, if that makes sense. The design does not expand to fit the larger screen. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
When attempting to reinstall Adobe Extension Manager for Dreamweaver CS-5 a window comes up and gives the following message: The Extension Manager will now launch and finish updating Dreamweaver. A second window opens saying: You are about to install the 'Dreamweaver HTML5 Pack' extension. Please read the following carefully before you continue. (Extension Disclaimer) Accept or Decline? I Accept, and then move on to the next window. The following messages comes up: The extension 'Dreamweaver HTML5 Pack' does not contain valid signature. The extension will not be installed. Is there a fix for this? I have uninstalled Dreamweaver, downloaded the file from the Adobe web site and reinstalled about 5 times, all to no effect with reference to the above issue. It was working perfectly before I had a hard crash. I then replaced two hard drives and reinstalled all my software. This has been an issue with Dreamweaver since reinstalling it
I have been working on a new website for several months, without problems. After leaving the project alone for about 2 days I suddenly have a problem with my templates: Live view shows code instead of the live view ... The code is all black, so not coloured like in code view. When I preview the page in a browser it shows perfectly fine. I tried to go several versions back - up to versions of about a month ago - didn't help. Also the DOM panel doesn't work in the template files.Maybe it is related: I have another problem as well. I seem not to be able to select things in documents based on the templates. I can select them, but the selections are grey instead of blue (in the editable areas).Any idea what the problem could be?
Hello, As the subject states. I'd like to know if the latest version of Dreamweaver supports debugging PHP script via XDebug. I want to set break points in my code so that I can do things like debugging line by line, view the values of variables, and logic flow. I'm using Xampp on Windows 10 Pro, as my web server. TIA, grecinos

I have been unable to set eslint to recognize public class fields. I set ecmaversion to 6 in the eslintrc.js, and I also tried deleting the file and set version to 6 in the site configuration and I still get an error with code like: class MyClass {var1 = 5...Any idea?
Your wizards did really good this time.Every file open or save takes forever. For example, the last file save took 40 seconds. Before this update, they were almost instantaneous.I closed Dreamweaver and reopened it. The first file open took 7 minutes.Something is really royally messed up. Can we get Macromedia back?
Trying to upload files in Dreamweaver: Menu - Site - Put. get an error message ' Macintosh HD: Users:shared: Previously Relocated Items:Security:MOJUK:_notes:dwsync.xml was not found' Have used another app to upload using the same settings, no problem. Can anyone help, Thanks, John O
Hey guys,I upload my index.html file which is made in Dreamweaver, HTML5, to my server and it gives me the "403" error. Then I copy and paste the same code but with a file that I made in my server panel, index.html, it works like a charm! does anybody have any clue as to what's happening?Cheers.
Been working all morning with no problems, now Dreamweaver crashes 2 minutes after opening. I have tried now on two computers, both upgraded to the 2020 version recently but I have no trouble until just this morning. No other updates on either machine. In fact, I hadn't used on laptop for days and then tried when Desktop started crashing and then same issue on laptop. I am on Windows. I am at a complete loss. Any thoughts?
Hi Guys,I am having an issue with some mp4 videos, it shows a blank white screen but plays the audio. If I play the video direct in Windows it works fine. The code is:<div class="embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9"><video controls="controls" ><source src="../Media/MyVideo.mp4" type="video/mp4"></video></div>I have attached a screen shot as well, anyone have any idea as to what is happning, it is only on some videos that I have edited and shrunk the file sizes. But as I said they paly outside Dreamweaver OK.Regards,Dave G
Old versions of color coding worked in such that comments within comments color coded based on the matching end. Now it looks like it only matches until any matching end no matter if it is not really the paired end. So the resulting action is the comments coloring would be applied to the 1st set but it should look like the 2nd below. Seriously 2017 is a major pain in the ass so far.<!---<div id="site_header"> <div id="site_header_left" style="text-align:left; padding-left:10px; width:48%; height:100%; float:left;"> <!---<img src="_images/bullet.jpg" align="ABSMIDDLE">---> </div> <div id="site_header_right"> <div> </div> </div></div>---><!---<div id="site_header"> <div id="site_header_left" style="text-align:left; padding-left:10px; width:48%; height:100%; float:left;"> <!---<img src="_images/bullet.jpg" align="ABSMIDD
Among the many surprises I found in the new DW (including Live view and Live code being on by default, apparently) I discovered that my carefully edited code coloring in CSS (and possibly in HTML and PHP, but I haven't got that far) has been completely scrambled.I followed the tutorial on how to change the colors by editing the Theme's main.less.css file, which I guess it's barely sufferable but Ok. One thing I haven't been able to affect so far is the code coloring of the @media statements.Old Dreamweaver by default colored @media statements and its closing tag with a dark brown, bold font. Beside that I got used to it, it made my life a lot easier and kept errors down because I really couldn't miss the @media visually. Now that has changed and I haven't been able to find how to affect it in the main.less.css file. For those that are not aware of how it worked, let's take this example:@media only screen (min-device-width : 320px) { #web_logo im
PLEASE bring back the old code colour options we had before Dreamweaver 2017.I've even noticed that the old color files are still buried within the app folder, so why on earth can't we use them? For loyal customers like me who have been using the same colour scheme for many years (since Dreamweaver 1), it's a huge blow to suddenly lose what we are SO used to.My productivity has seriously dropped since this update because it takes longer to spot the parts of code I want to edit. Please reinstate this old feature so we can get back to work again.
