the procedure entry point amtretrievelibrarypath could not be located

Hello. So I just recently installed Windows 8 on my PC and I tried to install Dreamweaver using CC and it keeps throwing me this message."The procedure entry point AMTRetrieveLibraryPath could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2014\Dreamweaver.exe"But when I went into that folder, I see Dreamweaver.exe in there. What is going on?

Edge Web Fonts && Adobe Fonts

Hi,I feel some confused about the simultaneous existence of Adobe Fonts (aka Typekit) and also Adobe Edge Web Fonts. I has problems with the SYNC in Adobe Fonts. I have many of them ACTIVE but usually the system get unconnected and no more sync as if I had never activated the fonts. On the the other hand I open the Dreamweaver CC (the last) and on the Fonts Manager I find the option to include Adobe Edge Web Fonts. And the type faces I found there I like very much, better than the current Adobe Fonts site (which server is failing so often).My concern is: What does it have to do one with the other? Why Adobe Fonts in one side and ADOBE Edge web fonts on the other hand. Why Adobe company don't just UNIFY or JOIN both, and avoid silly confusions like mine? I am not asking how to use it, how to embed, how to install, no... but why use one instead of the other?Other thing within Dreamweaver: Why in the Fonts Manager interface, the Adobe Fonts are not shown there? I see only the edge web fon

How to re-register Dreamweaver on a new computre

I had all my files and apps transferred from one iMac to a new iMac. Now Dreamweaver CS6 says it is in a trial mode and that I need to register it with 15 days. When I enter the registration number, I'm told the SN is already in use. Apparently the application on my iMac doesn't know that. The Adobe help site never is able to pull up my customer records. All I get is an endless pinwheel. How will I find this post again? I have no idea.

When you first start the DW and open the html file!!!!IF...the html file has a External links,such as "<script src="https://cdn.staticfile.org/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js"></script>" ,the DW2018-DW2019 will....Stay stuck for a long time ！look at PIC！and if this file opened, when you open another has a External links html files,it ok, This will not happen！It's a terrible experience！Q2:css format！we want this BUT,it only this!!that's all.....I hope your can fixed。

(CSS) Can only ONE side of a box container be slanted?

Me again Is it possible to slant one side of a box container (div, span, a, etc.) so it looks like this?(Forget the units, I just grabbed this from a Google image search to illustrate the shape.)First question : I know I can use transform: skewX(20deg) to make both vertical sides slant this way... but what about just one, like the drawing?Follow-up question :When using skewX to tilt only the 2 vertical sides, the contents (for instance, an image, or text) will slant as well, along with the container. Is there a way (short of adding an inner div angled the exact opposite way) to keep the contents straight, while the container's sides are slanted? A property, for instance.Thanks.

Adding new fonts to Dreamweaver MX 2004

Yes, I know it's VErY old now, but it's all I have and still works fine for my purposes I would like to add some new fonts, specifically some that can replace poor old oft maligned Comic Sans. I've d/l new .ttf files etc, and added them to c:\windows\fonts but I'm unsure how to get the new fonts to show up in DW. Several of the help pages I've found state to click on Tools or Modify, then Manage Fonts (or a similar relevant option) but I don't see any of those options in this old gal. And of course, even if I get them into DW, are they going to actually show up in a viewer's browser, if it is a font they may not have? Does the typical browser d/l them automatically on the other side so they can be rendered to the viewer? I think this is true, but won't swear to it.TIAElaineCharlotte, NC

DW 2019: Automatical Table of Content for a Document

Since 2004, where I started to use DW I miss a feature, which I consider is important for documents with extensive content.Every text processor software has that feature.I talk about a table of content.The function should create the TOC based on the headings of the document.The id attributes should be created based on the content of the specific heading.The TOC is useful for the user of the webpage and of course for the editor while he works at the document in the design view. It allows the editor to navigate easily in the content.What do you think about that idea for a future version of DW?And, independent of that:Do you know of any extension, which can add that TOC?Thanks.

I can't add a selector

Every time I click the next to the Selector tab and the selector shows up in the type box. Then the moment I press Enter, it disappears. It happens for all selectors.I'm a beginner so please try to explain in the simplest terms possible, thanks!

Media Queries, changing image layout for smart phones

I have a website with two columns. The left is text, the right are images. It looks great on a desktop, however, on a smart phone, the 2 columns collapse and merge into one with the left on top and the right on the bottom due to a media query at 480. The problem is that I have 5 images stacked up on top of each then and it doesn't look good. It's better to separate the images in between paragraphs and the like. Migration from DW 2014->2019: Keyboard Shortcuts and Tag Library

HTTP Error 405 configuring MySQL

I'm receiving an HTTP Error Code 405 Method Not Allowed error when configuring MySQL.  I know this can occur when trying to use a local test server and a remote database however I am using a remote test server along with a remote database.  Both the server and database are within the same LAN and the webserver does has been allowed access to the database.  While they don't show much (addresses and names have been modified) this is the configurationCan anyone offer suggestions?ThanksTodd

Fixing this almost-perfect animated collapsible sidebar navigation menu by W3S

So there's this nice bit of code W3S recommends to create an animated collapsible sidebar navigation menu.Its only design flaw appears to be that the main site content doesn't actually slide, it shrinks in width. In other words, content starts wrapping rather than sliding out of view.Would it be possible to fix this without re-writing the whole thing? Just a small edit that will keep the (dynamic) width of #main intact while the left border slides over; possibly by compensating with a proportionate negative value on the right side?Thanks!

Another jQuery UI issue

Hello, all,Same project as my earlier post about jQuery UI, same section of code.  But a different problem.I decided that I wanted to be tricky about opening the dialogs.  I wanted to check for the existence of a dialog, first.IF there is no dialog, immediately open one.ELSE, close the currently open one, and open the new one in it's place.  My logic suggested that since .dialog("close") doesn't have a callback, I'll have to use setTimeout() to delay opening the second dialog.  I don't want to have both of them open at the same time, and they use the same z-index, so closing the first then delaying the open of the second seems (to me) logical.But it isn't co-operating with me.  If there are no dialogs open and I click the top button, this alerts "false" and immediately opens the first dialog.  If I click the second button without closing the first, it alerts "true", closes the first dialog, then opens the second after the first is gone.  From this poi
