Dreamweaver

I know before I was recommended to link the CDN. But I like to work locally. So, I decided to download the CSS, the JS, the popper and so on and just save it into the "css" and "js" folders accordingly inside my project. And of course I override the original bootstrap 4.0.0 which comes already in DW. So, when creating a page, I attach the "bootstrap.min.css" version 4.1.1, locally, calling to a css folder, and the same for the "js" folder. And I deleted the links to the CDN of course too.Then, I made a quick testing using the ".carousel-fade" a class which arises with the version 4.1 (or 4.1.1) and it worked. But, I don't want to state that "it really works!" for that reason I want to ask to you experienced people that if what I got in this testing is just a "coincidence" a "lucky hit", or it can really work in DW CC.Why I was recommended to use CDN? Well, it's easy, updated, no too much to do locally, but besides that, is there any other reason? If I work locally with all these things

Could someone please tell me how (or if it's possible) to change an already completed website using frames, to one using CSS.  Or will I need to redo the entire site?My concern is the comment that frames are old school and eventually won't work and/or cause all sorts of problems.  My original work was creating when Macromedia still owned Dreamweaver.

Hello everyone, and I've been dreamweaver for a long time but now that I'm in its latest version in paragraphs containing some div or other function stands out from the start of the div until it ends and when you modify something within the div lends much to get confused, I would like a line to be marked below the single div and where it ends, someone could help me fix that I attached a photo to be clearer. I'm just a begginer when it comes to coding and this is my first real site made with Dreamweaver. The home page went weel and it is perfectly working, but the first internal page is getting fit by its height in mobile devices, browser widths lower than 1024px.Does somebody has any idea what the problem could be?

Hi,If I capture a color palette using Adobe Capture on my phone, I can see it in Photoshop and use it via "Window\Extensions\Adobe Color Themes". How can I do this in DW - there's no extension and I couldn't find it on Adobe Exchange.Thanks!

Hi,I have made an image map whereby when a user clicks on a certain section, they are taken to a certain website. There are seven sections in total. Hi,I am trying to define css using the "," symbol in front of text. every time after I clicked on '+' , typed in names the hit enter, the css component disappears. Anyone has any idea why this is happening?

So i was making my website using the like sample page template the dreamweaver gives you and i saved everything and restarted my pc and now it looks a lot different like before i had panels and stuff and now its all gone.

I ordered a disc a few years ago and registered it with Adobe.  I've since moved offices and have a new computer.  I cannot find my disc and need to re-install the program. Since it was registered, can I download it again without paying for it?

My client wants one of two phone numbers deleted on the 'Contact' page on a site I built 9 years ago using an earlier version of Dreamweaver. I haven't touched it in 5 years and am aware HTML has changed and probably CSS.

Hi there,We have plenty of software restrictions enforced (We are a secondary school), Unfortunately Dreamweaver's IDE allows users to view the entire folder structure of the local hard disk, Windows explorer method's stop this, this also causes us headaches as students can then right click and create new folders in system writable areas.Out of all the Adobe products Dreamweaver is the only one to use this built in IDE (the rest are based off windows explorer).Is there any way to restrict the folder view?Thanks

Hello there,I have a user that is unable to see images located on an external server in Dreamweaver's preview mode. The user's computer is located in a closed proxy environment where all external traffic must go through an proxy server. For this particular user, essentially all HTTP/HTTPS traffic to the internet is allowed at the proxy level, however all HTTP/HTTPS traffic that does not go through the proxy is blocked at the firewall. Looking at the proxy server logs, I don't see anything unusual (i.e. filtered URL's). So I am thinking that maybe Dreamweaver is trying to pull the external images without going through the proxy? Or maybe a protocol apart from HTTP/HTTPS is being used to pull the images? Can anybody shed some light on what is happening here?

have spent far too long following instructions to no avail...Basically I have DW CC 2017 installed and have downloaded the appropriate Extension Manager CS6.I wanted to download Webassist Free tools MXP and instructions advise that I will need to convertto ZXP which I have also done.However when clicking on this file, pop up appears saying 'This extension cannot be installed as it requiresDreamweaver 9 or greater'.   I do not want to upgrade my DW.  Why is this not working.I also tried with later version of Adobe Extension manager for CC and no luck.What to do now please in simple step by step instructions! In 2017 using Dreamweaver do you still hard-code your web design?

I'm working with a Bootstrap template that has worked well in almost everything up until now. In a section referred to as the "Team" section there are 4 images and I want to reduce that to ONE single image for this domain. That one image I want in the CENTER. Pretty simple. However I've spend hours trying every way possible to do it and i just can't figure it out. I learned on how Bootstrap 4 does not have center-block so I went to trying the d-block m-x-auto but that didn't work. The image moves a tad towards the center but not much at all. I don't like messing around with a template's style-css much but I toyed with that particular section's (the "Team" section; see image) to adjust the css. I was again able to get it to move slightly but hardly at all. Can DW-CC easily convert an older version of PHP to make it mobile friendly?My name is Rob, I spent an hour and a half in Chat this morning. The first person told me I need to talk to the “technical team” and he was to transfer me. Neither of the next two people I spoke with were from the technical team and after explaining the same thing three times and asking to be transferred I gave up and this is a new start. About a year ago, there was a robust discussion in this forum regarding the version of PHP that needed to be used. In that regard, this article dated June 22, 2018 is worth reading. Worthy of note is the fact that over 1/3 of all Wordpress sites are already under security risks and another 2/5 websites will included into the same risk at the end of this year.
