Real-time preview page not found problem

Hopefully this will be an easy one to answer because I'm just doing something foolish.I've set up my remote testing server with the root directory set as public_html/demo/website-name and Dreamweaver will happily connect and let me upload files. However, real-time prieview doesn't work. It puts the relevant files on the server but the browser just comes up with a 'page not found' error. If I change the root directory to be just public_html then it works fine and the page loads but obviously the files are not where I want them to be.What am I doing wrong?On a related note I thought that an alternative would be to view the local files in a browser by right-clicking on a file in Dreamweaver and selecting 'Open in browser' but that just seems to do the same as real-time preview - ie. puts files on the server and gives me the same page not found error. Is there really no way to prieview a local file from Dreamweaver?

Bootstrap Modal causing background images to jump

I've set some links to open up a modal window on click but when the modal window closes I noticed the background image of the page "jumps" a bit.  The image grows slightly then goes back to original shape.  Really strange, I'm using the built-in Bootstrap Modal class to open the window.To replicate:URL:Supreme - VISION Click on a right side bar item http://prntscr.com/fzb8xn Then close the window and you'll see the background move slightly http://prntscr.com/fzb9qf Could the movement be caused by the modal class telling the browser to remove scrolling then once the modal is closed the scrollbars reappear making it look like the image is shifting, or some type of overflow setting on the modal class perhaps?Here's what I have:.modal {  position: fixed;  top: 0;  right: 0;  bottom: 0;  left: 0;  z-index: 1050;  display: none;  overflow: hidden;  -webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch;  outline: 0;}.modal.fade .modal-dialog {  -we

Unbalanced body code error

I'm getting an unbalanced body code error on a web site that I haven't made changes to for over a year.when I try to update the template I get the error and the pages will not update.I'm using CS6 for this web site.Here's my code. Page cannot Scrolling in Dreamweaver Live

I am developing a website using dreamweaver cs6 using basic HTML/CSS. I can't scrolling when i click live and also doesnt scroll in internet explorer.Before of this it was working but today suddenly does not work. Bad image dimensions in Dreamweaver CS5.5

Guys and Gals,I am working in Dreamweaver for CS5.5. Not uncommon when I put an image into my page the dimensions go stupid. This is the text generated by Dreamweaver -<img src="orange_empire_rwy_museum_photos/1743_oerm_navy_railcars_2015.JPG" width="351076272" height="3216" alt="U.S. Navy rail cars" />It is for a JPG image with the properties of 2.55 MB (2,679,462 bytes) according to its metadata. When the image is clicked on in Dreamweaver it is a grey panel with a black x. Trying to change its dimensions by dropping the last for first six digits gets nothing but that grey panel with the black x.The image opens good in Photoshop, copies and pastes from Explorer into Word, and is not a problem in any other application. This type of resizing happens in numerous other images so it is not "this" file alone."Hobby and educational user" of CS5.5. Dreamweaver is saying it is up to date. Media queries verändern bei max-width die festgelegte Pixelgröße

Hallo Zusammen,ich hoffe sehr, dass ich hier mit Euch den Fehler finde.Aktuell erstelle ich mit Dreamweaver CC 2018 eine HTML5 Website, die natürlich auch responsiv sein soll.Dazu habe ich mehrere Container angelegt, header, nav, eine section, main, 4 articles innerhalb vom main und einen footer.Alles bis auf die articles haben eine Breite von 945 px, die aricles haben eine Breite von 225 px plus margin right 15 px.Das passt alles gut, bis ich die erste Medieanabfrage mit max-width 945 px hinzufüge und Selektoren hierfür anlege.Die Selektoren entsprechen denen aus der CSS und die width habe ich entsprechend immer auf 100% gesetzt, die von denarticles auf 23% und das margin auf 2%Was dann passiert, kann ich mir nicht erklären: Die width wird über den CSS-Prüfmodus dann auf einmal nur noch mit 928 pxangezeigt und die Container verkürzen sich auch optisch.Habt Ihr eine Idee, was ich falsch mache? Wahrscheinlich ist das nur irgendeine Kleinigkeit...
