Dreamweaver

When working along with D/W and posting new graphical images on my local site, live content is not immediately refreshed. I never know when that is done: sometimes at random, or when other updates occur.If one of you could explain this behavior, and/or show me how I can make it more consistent, it would be very helpful to me.BEST.est,JWC

I accidentally deleted the amtlib dll and don't have it and need a new one for the newest version.

I use a template for uploading my stories to a website. The template is basically a table with cells for different functions like the header, graphic, story text, reader reply etc. If you look at the screenshot you will see another what looks like a table with a blue highlighted border surrounding my table (my table is the grayed-out area). When displayed in a browser it shows up as extra space to the left  and bottom and I can't seem to manipulate it to make it the same size as my table.ThanksAlan

I added two YouTube links to the page.I tested out the YouTube linksNext to the YouTube links are down arrow boxes. Clicking on the down arrow one is invited to pay for a 'direct link'.When I open the page in the browser and roll over that arrow box I see below the code.The line associated with that unwanted material is:target="_blank" savefrom_lm_index="0" savefrom_lm="1">The lines around the two links show nothing other the the hyperlink.I did a page search for:target="_blank" savefrom_lm_index="0" savefrom_lm="1">andsavefromand savefrom_Found nothing.  As though hidden. How did that line find its way into Dreamweaver CS6?and how can I remove that code.The hyperlinks to YouTube works fine.Thanks for any insight into this.

I have just subscribed for access to Dreamweaver CC. I have an already existing web site out on my ISP's server. Due to a major system crash here, I no longer have any local copies of the site. I need to be able to connect to my ISP's server and import the existing files here so that I can get to work updating and maintaining the site. Please steer me in the right direction to be able to accomplish this. Thank you in advance for any assistance/guidance you can provide.Mark

Dreamweaver 2015 CC.When I was putting files to the remote server, there where two message boxes. One to remind me if I want to include dependent files and another one with the uploading process. Somehow, I've lost the second!Where did it go? Can I get it back, please?...

Hello, I'm a bit new, but I know the basics and a bit of advanced...I was making a sign-up page, and first started with a simple design (with no style sheet) and now that i'm adding class types and more stuff, in Live View and Designer view looks great, but on the Browser don't look fine. Hi,If I have the standard responsive attribute applied to images with this class name... what happens when in certain cases I need to ensure the image has set dimensions, but can most certainly downscale. I just don't want it huge within the space its presented in. EVISSI :: Pure Coconut Water under each can I want some information (nutrition facts, etc.) to appear when the visitor clicks on a link or a small image.I tried it with accordion, but it isn't closed as default (?) and I can't put it under each can (horizontal) because accordion is vertical. I'm working on a website: http://www.chictreatz.comThe problem I have is that the social network icons for my site do not display in web browsers. The URL for the social networks are there because I can move my cursor over the position where the icons are suppose to be and click them, but the icons are invisible. I can't figure it out. So after watching a lot of youtube videos - many of which appear to be out of date (the person will often go to some menu or tab that my latest copy of Dreamweaver simply does not have!) - I am totally lost and wondering how I can do the following:I have a background image, which is of a large TV basically, and I want the buttons to light up when you mouse over them, and click. Simple, I thought! Beginner stuff. So far, I can put my image in the page, as a background, and I can also make the rollover button. The button appears above my background image however, and I can't move or drag it. BRILLIANT. (Sorry, I'm a bit upset that this isn't simpler to do and all the tutorials appear to be outdated)How do I, after making the rollover button - move it to the desired location, over my background? Any help will be really appreciated! I'll be glad to watch any tutorials you know of that can help with this also.

Version: Dreamweaver CC 2017.5OS: Windows 10In previous versions of Dreamweaver you could have the option to prompt for an alt description when inserting a new image. Is this another feature that Adobe has decided to remove or is there a way to get this prompt back?

My office hasn't upgraded to the latest Creative Suite, but I'm trying to get my head around CS5 with the online tutorials.  However, there are commands and toolbars mentioned that just aren't available in the version I'm stuck with.  Is there a PDF of the CS5 manual hiding anywhere on the web?

I wasn't sure where to note this for Adobe staff/support, but I wanted to mention that after I use Dreamweaver for an extended period of time, let's say for the sake of a time reference after using Dreamweaver for 30 minutes to an hour, the copy/paste function will simply stop working. I can no longer copy/paste code with the shortcut keys, nor highlighting and right clicking.Along with this, the program itself seems to just deteriorate after using it for an extended period of time altogether. I know this is general, but really, it just starts working poorly. One other example is that the live preview will just stop working even though nothing has changed as far as my end (i.e.: file locations, etc.) It just stops working properly.There are a lot of odd end bugs like this I have noticed and I want to start making note of them to the appropriate staff/support, if possible.Restarting the program is the only thing I can find that works, but it is only a temporary fix as these issues repea
