Dreamweaver

I have floated left the other images on this page but cannot get the image of the policeman to float up and sit beneath the map image.  I have tried adding a float left but it doesn't fix it.  The policeman image img tag was originally surrounded by a div tag which I found stretched right across the page because it was a block element and I thought that was stopping it moving up but removing the div tag didn't fix it either. - any ideas you clever people?  Here is the page in question http://v33.ancestry.higgsy.co.uk/street_harpur_mews.php​How I want it moved up:Many thanks in anticipation...

I'm running DW 2017.5 (build 9878) on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1I've downloaded and installed Git (2.13.2 - 64-bit)DW did not seem to pick up the Git installation, even though everything is installed in default/standard directories.So I manually set up Git as:But in Site Manager, Git remains inactive. Rolling over the Git section pulls a tooltip that says "Please wait, Git is being initialized..." but I've waited 10 minutes and it never initializes.What can I do to troubleshoot and "git" this working?

Is this now de rigueur for all web portfolio websites? Such as here: https://www.canvasunited.com/I find it vaguely annoying, but if having a 3-slide slideshow in the banner makes me look old fashioned and out-of-date, then I suppose I'd better look for some video footage. As if fuzzy black and white footage of people exercising has anything to do with web design.

When is Dreamweaver going to support CSS Grid ? Browsers show my mark-up; but "DW live view" does not !  No coding hints either.

Hi,I have a php page which has an "include" file which loads a certain gallery, call this gallery A.I copied this page to a new folder, renamed it and created a new "include" file with a different gallery - "B.In DW live view, the new copied page still shows gallery A, instead of B.When I preview the page in a browser it shows gallery B as it should. I deleted the cache file under:c:\Users\<userName>\appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC 2017\en_US\Configuration\but that did not help.Any suggestions?The gallery is a "Juicebox" gallery.

I am connecting for the first time Dreamweaver 2017 to a SFTP host.  The host has numerous choices for the host key signature type.  I have been reading that RSA is the most common but not the most secure type out there now.  Can I get a list of the signature types that Dreamweaver 2017 will accept?

HiI imported my Wordpress files via FTP to Dreamweaver as it is much easier to edit etc in Dreamweaver.When I go to preview any page I have imported or any changes I have made, it loads up in the web browser but it just says "opps that page could not be found".I have followed to my knowledge all the steps in setting up a testing server.Can anyone help?ThanksAshley

I've had this message, which I know has been posted before, but I can't even find the DocumentTypes folder let alone this file...!Most responses say rename the file, but what if you can't find the file in the first place?I have used DW but not for a while so not sure why it's throwing a wobbly now. DW CS6 on Mac.

Just want to be sure that we are safe from hackers when it comes to SQL injection. We will do our best to ensure our codes are secure but how about the insert and update codes generated by Dreamweaver. Hello.I'd like to know 2 things :1. Why the hell doesn't Adobe have an E-Mail, to which you can write any complain about anything ?2. Why the hell can't i download Dreamweaver for completely free, even some older version of it ?

An error is displayed in Output stating that async needs a value, which isn't true. Async can be used by itself. How do I get rid of this error. I looked under Preferences > Linting for CSS, HTML, and JS, but I could not find anything regarding this error. Ditto for itemscope and defer needing a value.

I know that "insert named anchor" has unfortunately been removed and you are supped to link to element IDs but that doesn't help if you want to link to a word that is in the middle of a long paragraph and not a stand alone title or header. It will end up linking to the paragraph or div tag that the word is in and which might not be near the word.  Are there any shortcuts for this or will I just need to write in code what used to be fast and easy. Perhaps I should try to make a snippet?

I am using a Javascript function for my navigation menu. Why isnt the function working? I have copied and pasted many excel files (tables) over the years.I am a CC subscriber, so have the latest version of Dreamweaver.I have an excel file (table) that is about 3500 lines long and 6 fields wide that I need to copy/paste to my web site.  Getting the file too large error and can't locate a parameter file to edit.Any help appreciated.Thank You,

The panels are all there, but they no longer lock onto the right side of the window as they used to. (Wasn't that called the "dock"?) This problem started when Microsoft did the latest upgrade to Windows 10

I have DW CS6, but the problem has started with earlier versions for the past few years.101 Art Gallery - Fazal Ali 2017 This is a page where I created thumbnails of art works that pop up and enlarge to medium sized pictures.After uploading, everything works well.  But  when I make changes to the page, maybe text and reupload, the pop up function stops working. Worse, this homepage has hundreds of pages and old galleries from years ago which are also supposed to pop up at all times. But when I make a change to the template for example, like adding a link ( which changes all pages made from it), then, after reuploading all pages, every page that has a gallery on it with pop ups, stop working? I then have to select one thumbnail on each page,  and make it  pop up, then save the entire page and then all pop ups on that page work again. Hi, I've recently made a website using Adobe Dreamweaver. I was able to load the website through google chrome, but after I got in and clicked a tab, I was unable to go to other tabs, or even the homepage. Any idea which functions to use to solve the problem(New to DW here)?P.S.I was able to use other tabs using DW, however, I encountered issues after entering the IP address, I was only able to access one tab and was not able to go to others, or even return to homepage.

EVISSI :: Natural Cactus Water  On desktop version there is a movie behind the text, on phone/tablet the movie doesn't show but ever since I put the class="fluid Logo hide_mobile hide_tablet" the is a app. 20pixels space above the movie??Also .... it's beautiful on big screen, but when I resize my screen smaller the div with movie/text/can goes over the bottom div. I can't seem to fix this (it surely must be easy ;o)
