Dreamweaver

Hi,I'm new in Adobe Dreamweaver, and I should find a place to save a document from Dreamweaver. At first, I chose my Documents-folder on my MacBook Air (mid 2013), but then I got a warning from Dreamweaver that if I save that file to the normal Documents-folder, it will "crash" with my folder from Lightroom. I don't know why I got this warning, but I think it warned me that if I save that file to Documents-folder, it will cause connections problems or something problems with the connection. So I chose to save my file from Dreamweaver in a folder with some other folders, and inside a new folder in the first folder.This seems a little bit unsafe. It's a little bit creepy for me. I'm new at this. I'm doing photography, and it's a little bit creepy that the first message I get is that I can destroy or crash / make conflict with the connection with Lightroom. I don't know I'm nervous for this, but I hope someone will help me or guide me. I have fixed it and the folder is placed inside anoth

Opening Dreamweaver (CS4), I get the message "XML Parsing Fatal Error: Invalid document structure, line 1 file: Users/{my-username}/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS4/en_US/Configuration/Workspace/Designer.xml"A previous answer to this problem says to DELETE A CORRUPTED CACHE FILE which I did but problem not solved. Very new to Dreamweaver, apologies in advance for any noob behavior.  Searched all over for this answer but had a hard time finding anything.I'm currently trying to create a form on one of my pages.  I've created a div of with an established width and placed my form inside of it.  In other tutorials, I've seen where the length of the form's fields could be customized by setting their width to certain percentage of the parent div ... but when I try it and adjust the width, the fields are completely unresponsive.  The fields simply remain at the default width.I'm trying to create a form like the one in this tutorial:How to create a web form in Dreamweaver | Adobe Dreamweaver CC tutorials ... where the fields are all equal length.  If anyone has tips or can point me in a good direction, I'd appreciate it!

Hi Adobe Forum,   Is there a simple way to insert a Background Image Into a Table, just the table, Not The Entire Document Window, Using DW CS4.  I have been spinning my wheels trying to do it.  All I can do is get the Background Image to fill up the entire document window, not just the table.THanks,Ken

I'm trying to update this website for my work (I didn't design the website) and I noticed that the home page "shakes" or "jitters" when it's being loaded in or when you refresh the page. It only does that in Chrome (version 58) and Edge (version 38.14) for the homepage. Other websites on those browser doesn't have the effect. I'm learning Dreamweaver. I worked through a couple tutorials without problem. Recently created my first site (locally, not published). I'm having some strange behavior.First of all, Live View seems not to be updating well with my changes to CSS. Frequently Live View doesn't reflect my changes until I close Dreamweaver and restart it. This is not at all like the demo, in which Live View changed instantly with the CSS.Dreamweaver crashed once. Again, nothing like this happened in the demo.Also, when I select things in Live View, frequently the entire DOM panel becomes kind of grayed out and low contrast, along with a few blue elements. Changing what I select in Live View might change the blue lines, but it won't alter the fact that all entries are low -contrast. Only when I select something in the code panel does the DOM view return to normal.EDIT: I was just deciding I would start from scratch in creating my site, when I recalled that during the process of working on it the first time,

On my .php pages, I get this recurring message regarding the page having "processing directives." It offers a link to switch to Live View.How can I find information about the importance and relevance of this message and how to prevent it from reoccurring since I do NOT use Design View?Thank you.Warren

For some reason Adobe Dreamweaver cc 2017's Template is showing up distorted. I'm choosing the Basic Layout Template and the 400x200 green graphic is stretching.  This is before I saved it.I did a test save and deleted them. This should not have anything to do with the new template from Dreamweaver.Any suggestions?In addition, what happens when I choose "Save All" after I open a Dreamweaver Template?Thanks

I have Dreamweaver CS6 installed in a notebook running Windows 10.  The font size is so small I have to use a magnifying glass to read it.  I've tried changing the resolution on my screen ​but it has no effect.  What do you suggest?

Using the latest version of DW CC, and when I download files via ftp, the Background File Activity window stops showing what is being transferred after about 75 files or so. The files are still transferring, I just don't see them transferring in the Background File Activity window. It's been like that for at least 5 months or so...Any ideas?

I have a very bizarre issue with Dreamweaver (version being used 2017.1). When I add the html5 line    <source srcset="xxxxx.jpg" media="(min-width: 650px)">some of the CSS formatting following the line is not displayed in the design view. The code is to load images responsively and is bracketed by picture tags eg<picture>     <source srcset="xxxxx.jpg" media="(min-width: 650px)">  <img src="xxx-mob.jpg" alt="xxxxx" class="xxxxxxxx"></picture>Following the guidance from:https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_picture.aspThe design view acts normally before this line but after certain CSS effects are hidden.
