I was looking over my code today, and every instance of rounded corners kinda looks ike this :.classname {    width: 300px; height: 300px;    -moz-border-radius: 20px/20px;    -webkit-border-radius: 20px 20px;    border-radius: 20px/20px;}I didn't mind it at first, but as the website nears completion, streamlining is more on my mind than it was during building. So I Googled the subject of vendor prefixes (and their relevance in 2017) and found this. It's a year old, but about as recent an article as I've found on the subject.So now I ask, what percentage of my audience am I potentially losing by doing away with -moz & -webkit backup code on a website scheduled to go up this summer?

Hi, I just started using Dreamweaver CC 2017 as part of a college project.My knowledge is very very basic and I need some help from the experts.I want to change the color of a starter template.The majority are all blue and anytime I go to change the color nothing happens.Please help!

My rollovers are finally working, again, however the pictures are too close together and only the rollover on the right side of the screen works properly. How do I space the pictures so they work? I have 2 pictures per row and one per column. Hello, I use Dreamweaver to upload Webpages created from Microsoft Word (saved as Webpage). Once saved, I upload both the image files and the .htm file to a remote server. This has worked fine before but for some reason isn't working correctly now. The webpage doesn't show images on Google Chrome and it turns the Black Border on my images to a Yellow Border when viewed in I.E.Thoughts?

I wrote a html page, just static web, no dynamic content. In my text, I use some special characters that I use this site to write http://www.emojiselector.comEverything's ok. Just the displayed on browser result is so quite different. For example, on Chrome and Firefox, the emojis are not same, on IE no color. I don't know what is this problem. This is caused by my browser, code editor (dreamweaver) or this online emoji keyboard pro (emojiSelector) that I used? How to fix it?

I need to see tabs and spaces on .yml files. Why did you take this away?  I have it set to show hidden characters.Now I will have to switch to a different application just to edit these files.

WHAT THE H*LL. Yesterday I duplicate a layer, made edits on the new layer, check back on my old layer, made sure everything was just as it was. All okay, so I save, recheck again, everything is fine, so I shut my computer down. Come back today to see EVERYTHING on my old layer completely GONE! WTH man I spent two months on this code and it was NOT easy. This design is impossible to remake again from scratch. I spend over $200 on this Dreamweaver program only to know that it F-CKS everything up, and that is not the last of it. I've been experiencing countless problems with Dreamweaver and you're telling me this program is worth over $200!?? It's nowhere worth that much if it DELETED my entire code! NOW what am I supposed to do!???

So, I've been rocking along, finding ways to work with DW 2017 and up pops the update notification from CC. Because I tend to always install the latest version of my software, I do so. Imagine my surprise when, after launching this newest version, the entire UI is blank. I can see the minimize/maximize/restore/X on the top right and that's it.After playing around a bit, I click on the restore button to take it out of full screen mode and suddenly I have menus. I maximize and the windows stay in place.This should have been my warning.When working on a site I've been editing for a few days, this version doesn't refresh. Sometimes it just hangs and then refreshes. Sometimes it freezes. I'm not an web authoring expert, but the fact is, I use DW so I don't have to be. I seem to recall the "notable" feature in the description of the new release was email creation for campaigns. When I go to turn on live view the editor locks up. I can move the cursor around but when I click to edit it does nothing. I quit the page reopen and then works for a minute then locks down again. Any thoughts? One note, I did reinstall and worked for a half day and now it's back.

So...after downloading CC 2017 ( having to finally ditch an old PowerPC Mac running and equally old copy of Dreamweaver) I find that there seems to be no way to select text attributes - family, color, etc - in the property inspector....no other choice than manually coding in font information, or converting an old page to use style sheets.Am I missing something here? Is this a move to boot HTML to the curb?? I really don't have time to update old pages at the moment to CSS....Dave

How do I reset the template settings in Dreamweaver CC?

Would I be a complete idiot to add "background-origin: border-box" to my body tag; so that I never have to worry about background alignment again? I just learned about the property, and feel like "border-box" should have been the default behavior from the start, not "padding-box" (as is the case now).Am I overlooking potentially nasty side-effects by trying to make "border-box" the default behavior, which is what I'm assuming applying it to the body tag will do?

I know it's not possible to create a template using fluid grid layout in the CS6 version of Dreamweaver that I have, but I'm wondering if it's possible in later versions or on the cloud?

I'm working on a flexbox containing ten equal figures, I justified the content, but when the items spread downward, they overlap the footer.The footer also appears further up the screen in a mobile view.I'm not sure what's wrong.

Some of my html pages in code view, are nice and large. Some are very small and hard to read. When I'm in DW, and I'm in code view and the text is small how can I see it larger?I don't see a magnification option like you get in Word.I'm in DW8

I've seen a couple of old threads on this, but wondered if anyone might have new or better suggestions.I purchased a template online that came with a number of different "versions" and images files. The first thing I did was select the version I wanted to use and copied it to a new file with a new name. As I've been working with the file, I've done a lot of custom work and have changed the css a lot, as well as created new images in Photoshop.At this point there are many, many files that are not being used in my custom .html file. I know in InDesign you can "package" the project, and I wonder if there is something similar in DW2017 (or an extension). I've tried the orphaned files report in the Site menu, but it actually gives me false results; I know some of the files mentioned in it are actually called in the html or in popups.Thanks everyone.

Hiya Everyone,My CSS file is very clean and split up into multiple sections with some sections having multiple seconds within, and alike a multi-drop-down menu I have collapsed each sections code within, however if I then save and send to another developer, the code is not collapsed for them but is when I relaunch my Adobe CC Dreamweaver.Is there a way to save how I have collapsed my code for them to open and see this at all?Best Regards,Tim !

Hi,I came across the 960 grid for creating layouts, but I want to use a responsive grid.I then found CSS files from unsemantic.com, but had some apparent trouble with the 'clearfix' for some block items that weren't 100% width.Bootstrap seems to be the framework to go with, but I'm not yet familiar with it, and there seem to be many other options.Does anyone have any advice on what is the best CSS or framework to use for universally compatible web design?Thanks Matt
