Dreamweaver

Somehow the visual media queries bar disappeared on the pages in my bootstrap site.  How do I turn this bar back on?

Over the past number of days I have been unable to use Dreamweaver, on Windows 7 64bit, using my normal Domain account here on campus.  Dreamweaver had been working fine but now with the introduction of redirected folders I suspect Dreamweaver CC 2017 is having issues because of this.I also have Photoshop CC 2017 and Acrobat DC running without any problems so this is isolated to Dreamweaver.When I try to load Dreamweaver from my Domain account it loads and then stops responding.  Selecting the Debug option I get this error:The actual number in the [] change each time but I can not successfully get it to load.  I have uninstalled all Adobe products using the CC App manager and then removed it.  I have then gone through my registry and cleared out all mentions of Adobe.  I have removed the Adobe folders from all the App Data locations so that I am starting from a clean slate!All installed perfectly and Dreamweaver loaded fine the first time - however when I tried

I am running on windows 10 and trying to get dreamweaver cc 2017 to work. I have tried everything under the sun to get this thing to work and has yet to work. Steps i have taken:1. cmd- sfc /scannow2.uninstalling\reinstalling 3.uninstalling both creative cloud and dreamweaver\reinstallling4. running as administrator5. tried troubleshooting compatibility Basically it stops me right after opening it and just says program has stopped working.

I am having an issue when using Dreamweaver CS 5.5. I use it for a few minutes and then it just crashes my Mac (OS 10.12.3). There is no apparent rhyme or reason why it crashes. It crashes when doing various things in Dreamweaver. I've checked out my Activity Monitor and it's not consuming that much memory. And my Mac only crashes when I'm on Dreamweaver which leads me to believe it's some sort of issue with the program. I haven't been able to find anyone else having this particular issue as it's the whole computer that crashes and not just the program.I would appreciate any leads or help in this matter.Thanks!

My Dreamweaver CC won't open on my hp Windows 10 laptop. Every time I open the application it crashed right away. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it already and that still hasn't worked. If anyone has an idea of what might be wrong or some way to fix the problem that would be great!

I have Adobe CC installed on my computer.Every time I try to start Adobe Dreamweaver the following error appears:I have reinstalled Dreamweaver several times and it always returns the same message, so I cannot use Dreamweaver out of my Adobe CC. It is the ONLY program that this happens out of all of the package.What to do?Thanks,Luis

In Dreamweaver CC 2017 the background color of my site window that shows the list of files on my local computer and on the server, is a  somewhat light gray but not light enough and the list of files in it is dark gray.  It's readable but strains my eyes.  I much prefer the white background in my CS5 version and often use that instead because it has good contrast and is much easier on my eyes but there are certain things I need the 2017 version so I have to keep switching back and forth. Is there any way at all to lighten this gray background of the site files? I've clicked the lightest of the 4 color themes available in preferences but I don't see any options to change the files background.  The only other options for the interface is coloring the code which is not the problem.

Hi guys,I have a responsive menu on my site. I recently made the mobile version of the menu with position:fixed; so it stays along the top of the site when the user scrolls.However, for some strange reason, when viewing the site on a mobile (I think just on iPhone), on the homepage, the text and spacing on the expanded menu appears bigger than it should. I was having the same problem about drop down menus not displaying correctly fromt the link below. I have put the the new style sheet in the various locations in the code. Nothing works. What could be causing this?First the new styles would show but the drop down menus would not display. Hello!  Okay, so I've started learning code with the Khan Academy.  I've also created my first demo site with the provided tutorials. Haven't gotten into the Javascript yet. Soon though!  Also been using Muse for years and now feel it's limits. What I'd like to do now is choose an online curriculum path that would help me develop mastery of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. My ultimate goal is to then progress to a deeper understanding and capability to integrate and fully utilize Business Catalyst. I've looked at Treehouse and Lynda.com.  I like that Treehouse lists very clearly a progression of courses to mastery.  I like that Lynda.com has soOOoo much to choose from including some BC courses. I'm concerned that Treehouse eventually steers the learner towards backend programing languages. I'm concerned that Lynda.com has so much content and doesn't seem to offer a definitive path of progression towards mastering the Adobe products I'm interested in. I'm also concern

If I select Window>Arrange>Tile ..., how do I undo it?  How do I go back to having the tabs lined up?  Right now, my windows are cascaded and I don't want that. 

Are they 100% non-customizable?In other words, can we change the color or length of the shadow under the "3D" effect, or change the "Neon" effect color from fuchsia to something else?

HiA couple of upgrades back my DW started to do something very annoying. When highlighting a piece of code or text in the preview pane the relevant code is at the bottom of the page. Similarly, if you hit cmd+, (on a mac) to search for a line the result is also at the bottom of the page. This is very annoying as you have to scroll up to work and that just take your eye off the exact point. Not an absolute disaster but if your working all day long those little 'eye off the ball' moments add up.In previous versions of DW these actions centred the relevant line in the pane and you could start work immediately.I have lived with this for a while hoping an ugrade would fix this but seemingly not. Also, it's one of those errors that's extremely difficult to google as it's hard to find a search phrase that will return what you want.Anyone any ideas?Thanks in advanceMartin

When I update a web page for a client, I get tired of telling them to load the page which is usually the previous web page version and then tell them to hit the browser refresh button.  Two questions:  1.  Can I add code to have the latest page always loaded?2.  If you don't hit the refresh button, how long does it take for a browser to finally load this new page, a day, 2 days, etc.Thanks.Don

Hi again. Thank you all so much for all your help so far. I have another question (surprise surprise). I am trying to Hyperlink an image to another page, but it is not making/using the actual Image as the link to be clicked on. Only the name I enter in the box - which appears under my image - is the link. I have copied & pasted the html as it appears in the code. Any other options available to use the actual image as the link ??thanks for any help given again. 

Okay so I don't know how to fix this...No matter what I change, it changes all the links, or it doesn't change it at all.See how the footer is all white because of the link? I need it to be black, while keeping the rest of my links white.

Hello,I am getting better at successfully using DW2017, after years of struggling with coding (older graphic designer-pre-computer). Now that Bootstrap is the way to go for responsive websites I am trying to learn how to integrate BS into my workflow. I am looking for tutorials (in depth projects, hands-on), working with BS. My concern also is the learning courses I have found on-line are just Bootstrap, with no mention of Dreamweaver (except the one-below). So I assume designers can use just BS, or integrate it with whatever program they are coding in, and it is not "only a part of DW".If I set up a site in DW, using all the required BS framework and files upon creation, can I then use the numerous online tutorials about BS, and be able to move along, create and understand even though I have set up the file in DW? Once I have my new BS file open in DW, and the code visible am I ready to follow along taking the "outside" BS courses?With that said, are there any recommendations of cours

Code navigator Alt+Click in code mode not working with DW CC 2017., only in Design or Live mode works. Any way to restore this functionality like it was in DW CC 2015?
