In preparing for the release of OS X El Capitan at the end of the month, I've been contemplating the implications of the new System Integrity Protection on our packages created by Creative Cloud Packager. In particular, RemoteUpdateManager will not be installed from any CCP-created packages set to include it, since the CCP installation packages install RUM in a protected location, /usr/sbin. (In fact, a CCP-created package doesn't even issue an error message when it fails to install RUM.) From what I understand, when a system is upgraded to El Capitan, any third-party binaries found in a protected location will be moved out of those protected locations, as well.Will there be updates to CCPackager that installs RUM in a more appropriate location (/usr/local/bin, for instance)?It is easy enough to repackage/move RUM on my own, but it's just one more thing to forget when deploying. I receive images of photo IDs as a PDF attachement. But usually the image is to dark when I try to print it. I thought Adobe Acrobat had a "lighten" feature, but it does not. Should I have purhase Photoshop Element?

I have Adobe Acrobat XI and Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed in a Citrix XenDesktop 7.6 environment running on Windows Server 2012 R2.  Every time an update for Acrobat is installed, Acrobat forces itself as the default PDF application.  Acrobat was installed first, then Reader.  During Reader installation, Reader was chosen as the default PDF application.  Because of this broken behavior I am forced to repair the Reader DC installation every time an update installs for Acrobat, which is unacceptable.  I need to be able to force Reader DC to always be the default.  I cannot expect users to go manually set their defaults every time this happens.

In the customization wizard, I checked both boxes to remove previous versions of Acrobat and Reader.  It remove Acrobat XI without any issues, but not Reader.  I saw a discussion back in June ( Reader DC isn't uninstalling when I install Acrobat Pro DC )  with someone having the same issue.  I running into the same issue.  Has there been any resolutions to the issue or a work around?

HiUsing the Creative Cloud package builder I have created packages for Dreamweaver and InDesign both separately and as a combined package. When I try to install any of the msi files. from the Build folder the program opens the UAC I click'Yes' , Windows starts to configure and then it rolls back. The packages are stored on my C: drive. I have also tried to install on different machines all Win7 ( and even Win 10!). Have I overlooked something or doing something wrong? Any help will be appreciated.Thnaks

I have CS4 Creative Suite.  Was running without problem. Mostly using photoshop and the Acrobat Pro.  Photoshop seems to still be working but Acrobat is asking for serial number.  It won't seem to accept the original serial number.  This is a purchased copy with valid numbers.  I reinstalled with no change.  This is a new computer and I was sure to uninstall all my software on this prior to new computer.  I haven not had any problems for a year and now I can't even view a pdf file.

I've created the application packages using the Creative Cloud Packager. However, the size of the packages are a minimum of 1GB.  Is there any way to reduce the size in order to make them more SCCM distribution friendly?  Thank you!

How can I either disable automatic updates that require Administrator level privileges so that my users can use your product, or grant specific permissions to allow updates without system wide Administrative privileges on Windows 7?  I've had similar issues with other software manufacturers, and they were able to provide specific permissions that need to be granted at a directory level and / or specific registry changes / permissions granted to allow this to work.  I have searched through your forums, and cannot seem to locate this information for Adobe.  Please advise.

I am using sccm 2012 to deploy adobe acrobat PRO XI DC and I can get it to deploy just fine but even when I put the license key in the customization wizard it asks for the license key again after the install.  Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Hi, I'm currently a student as my school has prepared an adobe licence package to run for us after we download the trial version. However it doesn't seem like my trial is licensing at all and I have no idea how to make it work. Please help!!
