Hello,  Super simple idea but massive time saver across time :  We often need to go from vertical to horizontal and vice versa, could you please implement a one click button that allows the user to switch the vertical and horizontal values for comp sizes, similar to the button you would have on a travel website to switch your destinations . Currently if I need to go from 1920x1080 to 1080x1920 , I would have to click once , type 4 numbers, click a second time, and type 4 more numbers => That is 10 actions that could be done by a single one Thanks in advance Best 

I can right-click on a position keyframe and edit... please make this possible for audio keyframes!!

My file comp naming was used to look like picture 1, it was easy to select and export all of them at once, now i have to manually pick them all 1 by 1, and it's tedious and completely broke my workflow. Imagine manually picking 250 comp per episode. Before this I just shift clicked all 250 comp and render overnight. Problem: I had to import PL_101_SQ01_SC001.mov(animation) and PL_101_SQ01_SC001-01.psd(background art) into "PL_101_SQ01_SC001" comp which i finally exported to video. Now my final comp and background comps are all mixed.  So i cant update after effects to new version, i'm stuck with AE 23 version for a long time because of this. Solution, make file name sorting an option like in photoshop. Enable legacy panel name sorting

Managing Swatches using libraries and the eyedropper tool is just too many steps for an action that should be very simple and has been present in other Adobe apps for 20 years+ now. Just add a swatches palette, Im a little baffled that this doesn't exist, just copy how Illustrator and InDesign do it. To change colors I just select the object, click the swatch. boom done. Using the eyedropper and libararies involves so many more clicks, seems like a real oversight. Is there some technical reason why this doesnt exist?

right click on the Comp Window header > Enable Auto-keyframe: Why is this Stop Watch not visible all the time to toggle on/off?thanks for reading and thumbs up 🙂

Would be nice, if there more space at the bottom.in the Comp Window and the Project Window.I can move all the Footage all the way up, but it stops at the lowest bottom. Would be better to work and create NEW stuff (right mouse button)thanks for reading and thumbs up 🙂

Currently when a media replacement essential property is used, a new comp is created under a "Media Replacement Comps" folder. However, if you later change the source of this media replacement, a new comp is created but the old one isn't removed. In a large project, this could end up with dozens of unused media replacement comps. With most comps that are in use, clicking on them in the Project panel reveals a "used X times" indicator next to the file's preview. Media replacement comps that are in use don't share this behaviour, and in fact are shown in the Project panel when filtering to show only "Unused" items. If you were to delete these seemingly unused items, then any media replacement property is returned to its default state. I would like to request that media replacement comps also show the "used X times" indicator, and that any that are in use are tagged as such, so that they are correctly filtered.

The Radial Shadow effect could be much more useful when a Blending Mode could be selected.Most of the time shadows need to be multiplied, but this effect only uses opacity to stack the shadow on the background. Same applies to Drop Shadow effect.

I suggest adding updates to After Effects, such as Moho features, to move characters on After Effects

I can Separate Dimensions for the main hero Position.   But any place else there’s a keyable position (e.g., text animator, etc..) the Separate Dimensions is greyed out.   Fix this.

Using Bezier Warp is great, but would be better if we could make it so that the tangents can be, as a choice, locked to the vertex, so when I move a vertex the tangents points are also moved relative to that vertex. That would make resizing the layer much more efficient and for better workflow.

After Effects is kind of luckluster of effects, and features. So this is why I had made this suggestion. New Shake Category: • Cross Shake• Turbulent Shake• Shake Zoom• Criss-cross Shake• Diagonal Shake• Pulse Shake• Focus ShakeAnd more!  More Transition effects: • Circular Scale• Morph• Mosaic• Grid Zoom• Shape ScaleAnd more!     I'm trying to make an easy and simple video edit, but It's a bit too intricate to make the effects quick and simple so yeah.

I think it'd be a good Idea to be able to grab the pickwhip and drag it onto the composition window onto an layer there. If I have a giant project with lots of layers it takes a while to pick whip it to the layer I want.

In the precomp dialogue box, have a pulldown that allows you to choose a specific folder where you want your precomp to go.  Then every precomp after that will have all precomps go to the chosen folder until you choose another folder, like how solids always go to the solids folder.  It would make keeping my project a lot needer and save time having to drag each precomp I make to the folder "Comp 01 Precomps", "Comp 02 Precomps"

For some time now we have had roundness control on shapes within Illustrator and Photoshop, and that hasn't necessarily disseminated properly down to AFX. When drawing a square mask with round corners, you get one shot when you create the mask, and then that control is gone. If you created a square mask, there's no way to then create rounded corners. Why not instead of having two square mask options, having a rounding control like Illustrator to be able to round all corners, and be able to lock those controls for each corner together, or be able to adjust them independently?If this could also be added to other shapes of masks too - even better!We have roundness for parametric rectangles in shape layers, so why not masks?  Additionally, this is only a simplified roundness that affects all corners. Again, we should be able to disconnect this and have per-corner roundness control on shape layers too.

Hii Team,I suggest you to  add MXF file format in After Effect , which is available in previous version but not available in latest version Adobe after Effects 2024 i suggest you to Add mxf file format in After Effect 2024 .​as a direct export option from After Effects only rather than going through Media Encoder.just a suggestion for better ecperience for the user.  

I wish Adobe had some more transition effects, so this is why I made a suggestion for exactly that so that it will be easier for beginners to use the software. New Transition Effects: 1. PolyhedronThis effect will create a polyhedron transition. This can be configurable by these settings: the amount of sides, enabling blur, blur sharpness, completion, size and etc.. 2. CC Wheel WipeThis effect will create a wheel wiping transition. This effect can be customizable with these settings: amount of strokes, types of strokes, blur sharpness, completion and direction. 3. CC PuzzleThis effect creates a puzzle transition that then zooms in. This effect can be configured with these controls: completion, pieces, blur, and more. 4. CC FragmentThis effect will show fragments of the video and stack on each other then blend in with the solid, video, or image. This effect can be configurable with these settings: number of fragments, completion, size, scatter, and mor

The old way that AE handled track mattes allowed for the use of keyboard shortcuts to assign Alpha, Inverse Alpha, Luma, and Inverse Luma track mattes to layers. I'm not really sure how this would work from a UI perspective, but being able to navigate to a layer and use a shortcut to assign a track matte mode and then point to another layer, maybe via the keypad, would speed things up for me.

New Track Matte functionality in AE 2023 is pretty cool, the UI needs to change to accomodate the fact that layer names are usually pretty long.  Picture below should be pretty self-explanitory.  In order to see the full name of a layer in the track matte column, you have to drag out the column separator, which is anchored to both the mode and track matte columns.  This is a waste of space in the Mode column and there's no other way to adjust this.  Being able to adjust the columns independently would fix this.  

Feature Request Render Queue Preference to auto-open the Finder or Windows Explorer to rendered file after rendering. Anubis does this and it is very convenient.

Would be nice to align a layer to another layer as a key object selection., where that selection stays put but everything else lines up to it.

Currently, I can read the style attributes per character using sourceTextProperty.getStyleAt(index). I should be able to set the styling in the same way, but instead you can only set it for the entire layer at once.  This would be a game-changer for MOGRTs and Essential Graphics as well, if I could copy the kerning from a live text layer and have it pass all that information to my EGP comp, it would be next level in terms of how much MOGRTs could accomplish.   For example, I have a stacked font that needs multiple layers to achieve the effect my client is looking for.  I also need to adjust leading/baseline shift etc, and doing this for each instance is repetitive and error-prone. If I could use a simple for-loop to copy this character by character this would significantly lessen the amount of work this takes.   Even better would be a set of additional methods that could set it all at once - something like .sourceText, but inclusive of all styling— .source
