Now and then I want to rename several thousend files. But I have to wait until the previews are generated and this process takes up to 1 hour.  I would prefer the priority for creating previews being lower or the possibility for interruping the creation process.

Currently if an HD I use is offline and I click on a folder on that HD in Bridge I get a message that the folder can't be found and Bridge removes it from the list.That means I have to readd when I plug in the HD.That's wasteful.Change the message to "Can't find that. Should I remove it from the list Yes No"

Like the subject implies: ATM there is no way to search through files being shown in a collection.It seems obvious as collections can grow quite large that there should be an option to search. EDIT: My best workaround is to simply try to type the name Im searching, but if there's more than one hit wtih those letters no way to move to next. TY. MC

So, OS26 really improved the ability to customize the appearance of folders. Specifically, the ability to change the color of a folder is a tremendious addition and provides a great way to help organize your data in a visual manner. Like if I have a list of 100 folders, and i gave one of them my red "Important" tag, then I can scroll through that list really fast to find that one folder. I use this all the time, and it's critidcal to my work flow, now.  In fact, I used to have a cheap app to accomplish the same thing, but having it baked into the OS is just way more convenient.  The thing is, that Bridge used to relect the customizations that cheap app would make to my folders. So, if I made my folders yellow in the Finder, they'd show up as yellow in Bridge.  But, the new OS level. customizations don't make the trip over, and it makes me sad. It also really throws a wrench into my workflow.  So, let's roll up our sleeves, put on our thinking cap

Hello, I am very surprised that the part "Publish> Adobe Stock Contributor" not support to upload VDO file

I would like to suggest that in a future update, Adobe make available the ability to see the focus point in the picture. I understand there is download available in Lightroom Classic but I do not use Lightroom Classic. I prefer to organize my photos, therefore, just use Bridge in to Camera Raw.

It woiuld be great if the list of things one could filter on in Bidge included Type, in addition to star ratings. I often want to display and work with only, e.g. PSD files. Sure I can sort on Type, but when I am scanning through in full screen mode, it's easy to circle through into another Type. Even better would being able to filter on more than one criteria, such as "show all PSD files rated 2 stars and above"

Hi,Bridge by default either shows you the full image (completely zoomed out), or gives you 100% magnification (going up to 800%). This is too big for my purposes. I need to zoom in at about 50%. But I don't know how.  My question is if anyone knows how to zoom between 0 and 100% in any preview mode in bridge.Even if I have to mod or add an add-on to Bridge. Or petition Adobe to change it. I really need this for Bridge. Thanks

Hello Adobe Team, I would like to suggest an enhancement for the Filter panel in Adobe Bridge. Currently, when navigating folders or viewing search results, all filter selections reset, even if some items exist in the new location.It would be useful if Bridge could remember the on/off state of items that are present in the new folder or search results, while ignoring items that do not exist. Ideally, this behavior could be controlled with a preference checkbox at the bottom of the Filter panel, allowing users to enable or disable it as needed. Benefits:Reduces repetitive toggling when moving between folders or search results.Keeps user selections consistent for smoother workflow.Gives users control to opt in or out of this behavior. Thank you for considering this improvement.

Where is the autotag function in the current version of Bridge?

Bridge should work the same as the other Adobe apps when resetting the workspace. Right now if you have multiple folder windows open Bridge closes them all except the active window when resetting the workspace. This is a real pain if there are multiple windows open, which must be reopened when all the reset should do is put the palettes back where they belong.

Allow users to designate the location where collections are stored. This could have multiple uses. A user who stores photos on a portable hard drive could store the collections on that drive. Bridge on any computer could make the collections automatically available by locating the collections directory on that drive. An alternative would be to designate a cloud location for the collections. This could work for all Bridge preferences. I emphasize collections because they are an extremely important tool for organizing photos.

I always want Bridge to start in the same, default folder. There is no setting for this. Scripting is not really a good solution, a preferences setting would be better.I know about selecting the folder before ending, but do not ALWAYS remember to do that. Why is such a simple, standard thing missing??

Cancel opening a Secondary window in BridgeI would like an option to cancel opening a secondary window in Bridge. As it is I can only"OK" the window to open and then close it. (I'm a klutz on the keyboard and often accidentally open a secondary window which sends me down a one-way path.)

Currently, pressing space bar to preview on a video file does not initialize full screen preview. Expectation: Pressing spacebar on a video file will enter full screen preview mode.Strangely enough, if you are already in full screen preview on any other file type, and then arrow over to a video file, full screen preview will display with video.Perhaps this is a bug?At any rate, being able to quickly preview videos with the spacebar command is a very helpful feature for users who using bridge to organize and review media file types of all kind.Thank you in advance for your time.

I, and the entire US Military photo community, would benefit from the ability to select 3-50 photos in Bridge and have it generate a PDF with thumbnails and associated captions/descriptions. As well as a header that shows all the required metadata fields that DoD photogs have to fill out. I created a concept PDF. This being an editable PDF would be important, because as quality control individuals receive the caption sheet, they can "red pen" or copy edit to make sure the caption and metadata are accurate.

Please add a way to to view an actual map using the GPS data from file in Bridge. Lightroom has a Map view and it is a pain in the neck to keep switching back and forth just to use map option in Lightroom. It's been years! This should have been added long ago! Thank you.

Could you please support keywords for the jpeg 2000 format?

(1) A few months ago, my only cache option was that it was saved on the cloud, rather than in my C drive. I see now that the option to save the cache to a folder in my C drive is available, so that's a bit of progress.(2) However, there was an option to save cache to folders PLURAL. That is, each folder of photos had the cache saved to that individual folder. The difference / benefit was as follows:(a) I have over 700 GB of photo files, held in over 800 different folders (that helps me to find photos easily), and the total cache is 99,000 files totalling 70 GB. So if I want to refresh the cache, it can be a very slow process as the whole cache is updated - even when much of the cache is the same because I haven't changed the photos. And I also save the cache to an external hard drive, so a 70 GB save also very long.(b) The cache for most of the folders doesn't change once I've processed my photos to their final state. So the only cache change that occurs is when I take a new

Today I updated Bridge to 2025. I was using 2022 because of the newly introduced features were too annoying.I am very-very sad to experience this SLOOOOOW scrolling speed in EVERY list. This must be some bad taste or lack of understanding among the devs... I tried these:- Folders- Images- Filters- Preferences -> File type associations- Preferences -> MetadataIt seems that in every list one scrolling (a half wheel) scrolls around 2 lines of text which is infuriating. Yet the scrollbars are thin, grabbing with the mouse is another challenge. All these contribute to render these new versions of Bridge counterproductive. Instead of focusing on their work, users are annoyed by these problems which are working well in every other software.Dear devs, there are some bad default settings in your scrollbar component. This bad setting propagates everywhere, in every list. Just make scrolling 3x faster. by default Please, look at browsers, Windows Explorer, or any other image viewer softwar

I am a photographer, 99% of my workflow with photographs is done in Adobe Bridge withx CameraRaw. I use a MacBook M1 and the new update is much slower than the previous one and has problems when importing photo and video files with photo downloader, this did not happen with the previous version, I hope you can fix it soon.

In Bridge it is only possible to filter "1 star ore more", while LR can filter exact star ratings. Please add a filter function to filter exact 1 star / 2 stars / ...and so on

Currently, the batch rename in bridge only allows you to pick from a few optionsfrom the Metadata, by adding a all the fields it will allow for a much more powerful process.
