Will it ever be possible to compare 2 photos side-by-side on the ipad app? It's a feature I feel is missing from the app. It could be very useful o have it added. Let me know
I'm guessing this is a non starter, for many reasons! As an Amazon Prime subscriber, I get unlimited photo storage, so I feel a little begrudged that I have to then pay for photo storage with Lightroom CC. It'd be great if you could choose your cloud service provider in the settings.A couple of issues off the top of my head: What would you do if you wanted to switch cloud provider in the settings? Would it need to download all the files and then upload them to a different provider? You can obviously manage/delete/move the files directly in the cloud, which would play havoc with Lightroom. I expect there could be issues with managing space. I do however think it would be a real selling point for the service. Essentially using Lightroom CC as the front end and allowing users to manage the files in the cloud their way. It would also make backing up locally easier.
Having some basic statistics like number of views, unique visitors, number of downloads would be much appreciated after sharing an album to client with the public link option. I find sharing albums in LR the most useful feature as all my professional work is done and exported in LRC. Also there is a persistent bug far at least 2 past years, when sharing larger albums and updating (adding new files with a counter in a filename like _001.jpg, _002.jpg...), sorting by file name gets corrupted.
Please add curves colour just how in Lightroom pc on Android but don't make it premium make it for free users.
Adobe should make Lightroom so that once an editor uses generative AI to remove an object from a photo, they can then use the same edit tools found in the Edit panel to edit just that patch of AI-removed photo. I feel like this would enable those with noisier photos to be able to hide that patch more easily. Sometimes AI just makes it look too perfect.
I pretty much denoise all my photos at "50" with a certain camera - and it sucks to have to create double files that eats up my storage. Any way to add this at the export stage, even if I have to wait longer?
Please provide separate buttons for UNDO and REDO. There is plenty of space at the top bar when editing on iPhone to include both. This would enable a much faster workflow, instead of a dropdown meny for undo and redo. Thank you for the wonderful Lightroom mobile application.
Dear Adobe Lightroom Team, I would like to suggest a feature that I know would help me and many other photographers. That idea is to add an option in the export “Border” section to allow the background to be a blurred version of the image itself. Right now, we’re limited to solid colors, and for creators like me, that’s not just a design issue; it’s a mental and creative block. I constantly have to take my images into third-party apps like Picsart just to achieve a clean, professional look with a blurred background. It’s time-consuming, exhausting, and frankly draining my passion for photography. It delays my workflow, makes me fall behind, and makes something I love feel like a chore. A built-in blurred background option would save time, keep everything streamlined, and let photographers focus on what actually matters: storytelling and creativity; not patching together workarounds. Please consider adding this. It would make a huge difference.
Hello. I am requesting that there is an automatic size button for exporting to "social media" sizes. I also am requesting a "view recently exported photos". I accidentally changed the file names and now it is hard to figure out which photos I sent to a customer. I am relatively new to this so if there is something I missed- please let me know. Thanks!
Lightroom itself is fantastic, however, I feel like there are some key features missing on the mobile version, for example, the refine brush for the background blur, where we can determine what needs to be in focus and what needs to be blurred.
Hi, does this tool exist for Android? Add border & share
I can scroll sliders, side to side, with the mouse wheel in LRC, but not in Lightroom (cloud). Please consider adding this feature. Using Windows 11.
. El botón de seleccionar f rechazar imágenes es muy incomodo en el iPad podrían ponerlo como un gesto seria más faci seleccionar imágenes
I'm seriously looking forward to the day native sky replacement comes to Lightroom? Most of the functionality is already there (masking), and it already exists in PS. Please adobe. Thank you!
As I look over images in large grid mode, I'd love to be able to tap/slide left side to assign star ratings or flags. This will speed up my efforts to separate images with potential from those I'll delete. Now I need to go through one at a time and I'll often star or flag something only to discover a better candidate farther down the process. Then I go back and remove the star/flag. Especially when shooting 20 frames/second, there are so many to weed through.
I remove the background in my portrait photos a lot. I use Lightroom CC for the initial edits, but I have to take it to Photoshop to remove the background properly. For initial review pics to be sent to my client, I prefer a simple workflow that I can accomplish in Lightroom. [Even Canva has a 1-click background remover (which I use many times when Photoshop can be cumbersome in my workflow)]. When pressed for time, I use the "mask" feature to select the background and decrease exposure or change color. But this impacts the edges of my subject. Removing the background cleanly and adding a simple background would be great from inside Lightroom. This will help me accelerate my workflow tremendously! Do you have any tips or workarounds?
"I hope the developer considers adding batch editing with masking functionality. Currently, batch editing doesn't seem to apply masking, requiring individual edits. It would be great if this feature is improved soon."
I am a photographer who uses Lightroom collaborative proofing. I want clients to be able to make image selections without having to sign up for their own Adobe ID. Although it is free most people don't want to have to sign up with another username and password to a website that they feel they are likely to never use. The workaround that I've been using is supplying my clients with an email and password for an additional 'free' Adobe account that I have setup however this only allows 5 people to use the credentials before it requires 2 factor authentication (making this system unusable). If proofing selections were able to be made by 'anyone with the link' it would make the system much more usable to so many more people.
Adobe has been doing great work with Lightroom Mobile in the areas of Editing and Sharing, but its time to work on the Capture element. The in-app camera is good but is starting to lag behind some of the other pro-camera apps that are available. I would like to see: Live histogram while shooting Burst mode via volume up button(I think it was available back in 2017) https://lightroomkillertips.com/tips/ Remote shooting via Apple Watch or other BT device Return of long exposure Updated camera interface I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max with the latest updates.
This idea is for android devices only since ios devices don't have a system back button. When it's pressed, currently it kills the app. Please bring up the album/folder panel instead, or go to the parent folder directly. Thanks
really, guys? it is great that you've implemented this feature (that Lr classic lacks so much), but not considering the border in the dimension of the rendered file is so dumb. the app even warns you of that, like it is easy to calculate the right size based on the slider unit of whatever. you don't even need ux research to find that this is a bad decision.
I'm not a professional and have only used Lightroom for less than a year. I do love the redesign and I want to use it but I don't like the auto-sync. How hard would it be to implement an option that prevents auto sync and instead enables manual sync? My idea is to add a manual sync option in the settings and when you want a photo to be uploaded to the cloud you should be able to click on the cloud button and hit "Sync" or "Upload". Taking away people's ability to choose doesn't just scare away the pros but also the beginners. Also, some advanced features from the original Lightroom need to be added. One of them is the export function. The new export function is terrible. I only see "Small, Full Size, and Custom". The original Lightroom has a lot more export functions.
