It would be great to be able to add current location when importing images in Lightroom mobile. This can be useful for on the road imports. best, carlos
Hey, I use Lightroom on my iPad; I am currently vision impaired, I need to increase the font size of menu items and pretty much all other text if possible. Can anyone provide clear step-by-step directions on how to do so? Thank you very much.
When exporting an original downloaded image from the lightroom iOS app with a border I always get a file with a size of less than 1MB. If I share or export without a border then the file size is as shot usually inexcess of 15MB+ (see images below) There are no options to increase or change the image quality settings for border settings in the app. (tap on share - add border and share - tap blue share button - Save Image) no options or cog as you get with other share or download options. How do I export with a border to my mobile device and have a decent quality file that doesn't pixelate when viewed on bigger screens? I really don't want to have to export each image into Adobe Express or Photoshop Mobile just to add a border to images for some of my SM feeds.
when in detail view, make a tab just for faces to see who's in the photo. I need to be able to add someone by just circling their face while I'm in detail view. in the info tab, please show me who's faces are in the photo. if there's no faces in the info tab, give me a button to search for them with ai or a button to circle the faces and ask the app to add that person. while masking, if there are people detected, let me be able to name them while I'm doing so. let me search in the people section in more than one type of view, by face icon and by photo.
"Hi Dev Team, I'm loving the app so far, but I think it would be amazing to have a batch editing feature that allows us to apply lens blur to multiple photos at once. This would save so much time and make editing photos in bulk much more efficient. Would it be possible to consider adding this feature in a future update? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks in advance!"
As a visually impaired person, when everything is thrown together into a big jumbled mess, it's very difficult to distinguish what is what. With that said, the grid on the iPad for Lightroom mobile has no separation between photos, and it's extremely difficult to distinguish one photo from another. I've been searching for the last two days and cannot figure out a way to change the grid on the iPad mobile from the mosaic tile grid that's default to a more square grid with thicker separation lines at minimum. This is what it looks like now: This is what I need. The screenshots from the desktop version, everywhere else from Lightroom to Lightroom classic even Lightroom online, all give me an option to change the grid, but I cannot figure out how to do it on the iPad. I just need some definition between the photos, and it has to be without the overlay mosaics. Each photo has to occupy the same amount of space, if that makes any sens
On the LR iPad App, I can move forward/backward with the keys on my keyboard in full screen mode, but the zoom is reset when I move forward/backward to "fill screen". So, I honestly can not really judge the detail quality of photos in this view sufficiently and need to seem on after each forward/backward again. I always take series of photos and select out the best one, often based on detail quality. So it is very cumbersome to need to zoom in again. It would be extremely helpful for swiftly checking photos when being able to stay "zoomed in" while moving forward/backwards using the keyboard. E.g., using shift+right/left key instead of just right/left key?
I would like to request that local file browsing, similar to what was added to Lr Desktop recently, be added to the iPad app (and other tablet systems). When traveling without a laptop, or using just an iPad, my desired workflow would be load images from SD card onto external SSD (I'm already doing this for backup purposes anyways) cull, rate, and keyword images on my external SSD load just those images I want to edit into the cloud This is how I've started doing it on my desktop Mac, and would like the same functionality on iPad. This would vastly improve the experience for other users desiring similar workflow as it would save so much time to not have to constantly be importing and deleting images from the cloud. This is especially useful if you are somewhere where there isn't great wifi.
Text editing feature on Lightroom IPad/Mobile. That's the only thing I feel it's lacking.
A few updates ago, the "Add to Lightroom Mobile" prompt disappeared on Android when you press the Share button on Android. I'm not sure if this was in the iOS version as well. This was really handy especially when adding a bunch of photos in the Files app without opening the Lightroom app, then backing out to make sure the photo was saved in the library. Anyway, as a person who takes a ton of photos and chooses several variation of photos when editing but my workflow has slowed so much when the only option now is "Open in LR" causing me to open the app every single time I add a photo. But yes, please add it back. Thank you
It would be awesome if there was an interactive map or globe where you could zoom in and out and see where different community photos were taken, kind of like in google/apple photos. To curb privacy issues this feature could be turned off by default and enables on a photo by photo basis. In fact, since most people aren't shooting with GPS modules I imagine it would take extra work on the community end to populate the map but the end result would be something special.
FYI I'm a real person that used ChatGPT to write this request because I don't want to spend a bunch of time doing it, but wanted to let you know I'm a real user! Dear Adobe Team, Please add Collaborative Proofing to Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop. Right now, this feature is only available in Lightroom Web, making the proofing process unnecessarily complicated for photographers who rely on Classic for professional workflow management. I frequently send proofs to models so they can select their favorite images, but the current workflow is frustratingly inefficient: 1. I have to sync images to Lightroom Cloud, which isn’t ideal for my local storage workflow. 2. Then, I have to switch to Lightroom Web just to send the proofing link. 3. Once the model makes their selections, I have to go back into Lightroom Web to create a new album that syncs to Classic—because the selections don’t automatically transfer. 4. After that, I have to manually move the select
Hello everyone, I am here to request for a new necessary feature for Adobe Lightroom. It's basically a toggle for "Embedded DNG GainMap" which allow us to disable the lens corrections done via Metadata of RAW file. I am a professional photographer who mostly shoots DNG RAW images for my Documentry Street photography with an Android smartphone which embedds the "lens vignette correction" & other "lens corrections" in the metadata of DNG file. With current Lightroom version this metadata is always read and the DNG is auto corrected which is fine for most but sometimes when an artist wants most control out of the DNG this feels like a restriction. There are times when I want that organic lens vignette and hue shift at the edges of my frame to highlight the subject at centre or sometimes I don't like the excessive noise at the edges of frame as they are digitally corrected by increasing the exposure to correct the lens shading. I kindly request the Adobe Developers team to please offer
Lightroom'un bilgisayar versiyonunda Türkçe dil desteği olmadığı için zorluk çekiyorum lütfen yardımcı olabilecek var mı??
Is it possible to enable in LR the possibility to edit RAW files for third party plugin like LRC allows? LRC allows from File > Plug-in Extras but this path is not available in LR. From Edit In path, there is no DNG option in the Edit in option window.
I'd love to be able to see the result photo full screen on my external monitor while using the ipad monitor for editing using my apple pencil
Since Lightroom added the "local" tab (abilitly) to editr locally i completly switched from the Classic version to this. The biggest problem is it only exists on the "desktop" versions.Considering for example how powerfull the new iPads are, how much storege they can get and also the ability to access external drives, why is this feature missing from the mobile version? Please add it to the iPad version, it would be a game changer for on the fly edting without worring about cloud access and space
I'm also having a big issue with regards to external track pad support in LR Mobile for iPad. Not so much as it doesn't work at all, because it does, but it does not work in any of the side personas such as within the Masking and the Remove personas. My Apple track pad works fine in the main persona, but as soon as you pop into another all pinch zooming is gone. My work environment is as follows: I have my M2 6th gen iPad Pro 12.9 plugged into an Asus ProArt display PA279CRV in the required keyboard configuration. I have my iPad docked in a Magic Keyboard folio with a Anker 565 11-in-1 USB C Hub. From there I have my ProArt disply hooked up VIA Displayport. I use all three external Apple Keyboard, Magic Mouse and track pad. I just wish that one last thing I need the most would come in the next update, that there would be track pad support accoss all functions in LR Mobile for iPad regardless of what persona you are in.
Please add a 'light screen mode' for android lightroom
Where has the secondary monitor feature gone ?I'm just starting to use the cloud version after completing migration (which took a long time). How many more basic features will be missing?
In lightroom classic we can press Y to view the original next to the edit. I would like this feature to be incorporatet into Lightroom CC as well.
Other apps have a +/– beside the zoom ratios and I find it very helpful to go up or down by one level; e.g. 100%-200% or 100% to 50%. One level = 1 click. If I want two levels, then it's two clicks. With Lr, right now it is 1 level = 2 clicks. This is an inefficiency.
It VERY helpful to have the shooting info (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, even focal length) availabe in the Edit module. Edits are often tied to settings, for example sharpeining decisions are often tied to ISO. it is also helpful when reviewing or comparing images. As it is available in LrClassic, it would be equally helpful to have it in Lr as well; i.e. stop dumbing down Lr as if it for rank amateurs!
Very happy to see Smart Albums in v8! Unfortunately, when I went to create one for 'keyword=foo or keyword=bar' I was disappointed to see that the only option is for criteria to be ANDed together - there is no OR option. Please allow us to create smart album criteria with all of the common logical operators (like we've been able to do in Apple Photos for a decade). Thanks!
It is 2023, we have iOS 16.3, and still Lightroom mobile don't support 120Hz on ProMotion devices... Shame! Don't know why we're paying for it...
