It would be awesome to have a dedicated Automobile or Cars category in the Lightroom community tag options. I like posting images of cars and also searching for them, and I think there are so many people that would benefit from this.
In the Device tab on the iOS app, please mark duplicate photos that are not imported. This would help the user identify duplicates in their camera roll and remind the user to not to try to import the duplicate photo again. (The app marks photos that have been imported already with an LR symbol. So it seems possible to mark duplicates.) Also in the Device tab, please add filters for duplicates and imported photos so the user can display only photos that are not duplicates and/or have not yet been imported into Lightroom.
I've just posted a feature request (via this page) to add a Reset ALL from Lightroom command which would mean that you could reset/refresh all the pages your site has linked to Lightroom in a single hit, rather than going through them one by one. Assuming others like the idea, I don't see any way to get folk to vote for this request. Is there a voting mechanism?
There is a need for an easy way to add photos to an album on iOS and iPadOS, similar to the add to target album shortcut on the desktop version. Currently, it is too cumbersome to be able to organise photos into albums on the iPad or iPhone versions of Lightroom, which is a pity as sorting photos into albums is the type of thing that could be otherwise easily done whenever you find yourself with five minutes spare and your phone to hand.
Lightroom Cloud 2023 uses the ProPhoto RGB color space. This is a problem if you want to edit your photos for Instagram, which uses the sRGB color space (i.e. fewer colors). It's a problem because the entire time you're editing, you're seeing what your photo will look like in ProPhoto RGB, not sRGB. But as soon as you're done, and you export your photo to sRGB, you lose a ton of colors. And there appears to be no way to know which colors you'll lose until you go to export. I believe there is a setting called "soft proofing" in Lightroom Classic that shows which colors you will lose when exporting as sRGB. But this option does not exist in Lightroom Cloud. Can someone tell me why this seemingly enormously important feature is left out of Lightroom Cloud? I have to suspect that a majority of people using Lightroom Cloud are uploading their pictures to Instagram. Isn't everyone disappointed then, after spending all that time editing, when they finally go to export as s
Hi! it would be helpful to be able to filter by the keep/delete flags under the info ratings. That way I can earmark what I want to keep for edits and what I want to delete then filter down to a delete pool and mass delete all those flagged to be deleted at once. Even using a star rating system if I wanted to save space and purge on my phone e I could purge one star photos from my phone after I verified they were backed up elsewhere. I think this would be really handy.
i would like to be able to zoom and use the healing brush tool at the same time on lightroom web
Hey There. Lightroom Is Best Photo Editor I Know But You Can Add New " Ai Photo Enhance " Feature To It , It Can Be Very Helpfull!!! Thanks - Raj Vaghela ❤️
I'd like to see direct integration of MacOS Lightroom (desktop) with the system/Apple iCloud Photos library in the same way that it's accessible on the iOS/iPadOS versions. Those allow for direct import from, and direct saving back to, the library. Currently, I operate a mixed Photos/Lightroom workflow. I don't automatically import everything into Lightroom for a variety of reasons. I take plenty of snapshots that aren't really worth any time in Lightroom or worth taking up space in the LR cloud; there's also a huge value in easy access to the integrated iCloud Photos library across the Apple ecosystem; etc. However, there are often sets of photos that I'd like to manage for a while and edit in Lightroom, then likely later export back out to the iCloud Photos library for general use/sharing/etc. The process is messy on desktop but a dream on iOS/iPadOS. Currently I end up using a mixed workflow where I am handling Lightroom import from iCloud Photos on iPad/iPhone,
A smart album to show metadata fields that are empty would be very helpful. For example, a smart album that shows which photos do not have gps information or do not have anything in the location field. I assign full location information to my photographs. The majority of my photos imported into Lightroom desktop have gps information in the metadata. Lightroom will automatically assign information to the Country, City and State/Provence fields using the gps coordinates. I type information into the Location field. Occasionally gps data is not assigned. It would be very helpful to be able to quickly identify photographs where the gps and location fields are empty rather than going through them one by one.
I beg you please add burst mode feature when shooting DNG photos, like default iPhone camera app. I used a camera app "Pro camera by Moment". It supports taking burst photos in RAW format. I sometimes find burst mode very useful in certain situations.
The fact that Versions And History aren't available for Local or after Archive to Local is absurd. This isn't some technical-cloud-dependent feature like AI search is. Please allow this basic functionality across LR.
For better editing and comparison I think a "create a virtual copy" option would be very nice.
Not sure if this is a bug, but when a cloud album is "archived to local storage" and the option to organise is "Copy cloud album structure", the cloud album folder is ignored. So if a cloud album "Test" which is in a cloud folder "Misc" is archived, then only the "Test" part of the structure is created in the local filesystem eg photo archive > Test. Ideally it should be photo archive > Misc > Test to fully recreate the cloud album structure.
Lightroom (Cloud-based) should have a comparison view between the 2 history versions of a picture like LrC. It'd be helpful for editors to have a view of those side to side instead of pressing the "Show original" button back and forth. Thank you
Hello, I have a suggestion, why don't you add author search to lightroom mobile? People will be able to find their favorite authors through Instagram and subscribe to Lightroom Mobile, which has contributed to the growth of the Lightroom community, this could lead to a social network through creativity
The iOS app needs a UI lift. It looks like an old app with old icons, sizes, and design. It just doesn't feel modern or that it belongs to iOS. Thank you.
Currently when you try to migrate from LRC to LR everything gets uploaded to the cloud. I want to be able to CONVERT my edits from a catalog to LR edits (XMP or another solution) and keep it Local. Right now I need to Migrate, and then get it off the cloud after it has finished uploading by using the new Archive Locally feature. This is half a solution. I really want to switch becuase I understand that at some point the two apps will merge, and LR works great, but you need to make my life easier doing that. Thank you. macOS 15.2 Lightroom 8.1
Dear Adobe Team, While using Lightroom Cloud, I find the current zoom functionality unintuitive and inefficient, particularly when performing detailed edits like with the Remove Tool. Currently: Holding Spacebar activates the Hand Tool for dragging the image, but the mouse scroll wheel only scrolls up and down. To zoom in, I must hold Ctrl/Command, which turns the cursor into a magnifier, requiring me to select an area to zoom. This process is unnecessarily cumbersome. I suggest: Allowing the mouse scroll wheel to control zoom in/out while the Hand Tool (Spacebar) is active. This way, users can seamlessly drag the image and zoom without switching tools or selecting areas. This change would greatly improve workflow efficiency and align with standard user expectations for intuitive navigation. Thank you for considering this improvement! Best regards,A loyal Lightroom user
It would be great if you could finally add batch editing (i.e. the abililty to copy/paste settings from one photo to a group of photos) to Lightroom Web.
Please, PLEASE add a navigation filmstrip to the android version of lightroom. Lightroom for Ipad has the filmstrip navigation at the bottom and it makes all the difference , and brings it closer to working on a desktop version of lightroom. This is one frustrating aspect of using lightroom on flagship android tablets.
When editing cloud images, you can tap G to cycle between traditional Square Grid and Photo Grid (also called Mosaic view in some apps). Over the past few years of working in LR Cloud, I've come to greatly prefer the Photo Grid / Mosaic view. But now that local storage is available, I'm starting work that way a bit more. But weirdly, when editing local storage, only the traditional Square Grid is available - the new Photo Grid / Mosaic view is not. I can't tell whether this is a bug or a feature, but it sure feels like a bug. Please bring Photo Grid / Mosaic view to local editing so that it's consistent with cloud editing mode.
I'd like to see an option for only having one folder open / expanded at a time in the Albums panel. Not the Shared one. And only Cloud, not Local. Currently I end up with many folders open at the same time and can cause a bunch of scrolling. I think it should only be the highest level folders to keep things simple. This would be similar to the Single Panel Mode being checked on for the Edit panel sections on the right. Or whatever it was called in classic. View > Edit Panels > Single Panel Mode Thanks Tim
Please unify the ability to place a frame with that of placing a logo so that both are possible at the same time.
