I'd love to be able to queue my own syncing by photo or by album, and push things to the front/top of that queue to get priority. Eg; right click, priority queue, then get a small pop-up or alert when that had finished and the normal sync had resumed, allowing me to get quick previews out to clients in an adobe album which is my preferred method.
When export a photo, create a new named version "Exported yyyy-mm-dd" of the photo. This feature should be optional, may be as global option or swithable in the export screen. This feature is requested as a restoration point, because it is easy to change unintentionally a photo after export it (pherhaps several days later), so you can not export the photo again with the same configuration.
Can you add a feature where you can choose between the old layout and the new layout on lightroom for iPad because a hate the new layout it's really annoying. ps where did the "open in" thing go and where do the learn tab go
This is one more of the ridiculous ways that the incongruencies are extremely egregious.
Hello, I really miss one feature of Lightroom on iPad: the ability to export images with size limitations.I would like to be able to export my photos with maximum quality BUT not exceeding a certain size. This is possible with the non-mobile version.
The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized the way we create and consume images. AI-generated images are now indistinguishable from human-created images, and they are being used in a wide variety of applications, from advertising to art. This raises a number of concerns for photographers, who are worried that their work will be devalued by AI-generated images. They also worry that AI-generated images could be used to create fake news or other forms of disinformation. I believe that Adobe could address these concerns by implementing a system for authenticating images in Adobe Lightroom. This system would use AI to compare an image to its original source, and it would generate a certificate of authenticity that would show the percentage of the image that was created by AI. The system could work as follows: When an image is imported into Adobe Lightroom, a low-resolution thumbnail of the image would be attached to the metadata. This t
Currently the image quality and size is reduced a lot after applying the border. It would be an excellent option if you can provide same quality of image after applying the border and export the image.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but other than the HDR mode, no computational photography is done using the LR app on mobile. I compared results on an iPhone 11 and iPad Air (M1) in low light situation and, although having the benefit of .dng files, the .heic files out of the standard camera were much cleaner than the .dng files.Other options for computational photography ranges from ND filter simulation to astrophotography stacking (cfr Affinity) Too bad since LR unlocks the raw format and should be capable of capturing stunning images as an all-in-one app. On the screenshot below, a 100% comparison of an HDR (best case, using LR app) and HEIC image. Granted, the heic surrfers of (exessive) smoothening, but the better SNR thanks to computational photography still favors the latter.
It is almost impossible to check for sharpness accross multiple photos because the zoom level is always reset when moving to the next image. There is basically no way to easily compare two images (compare vieuw dos not exist either). Since LR movile if meant for "on the go", it's a real pitty. Since the "zoom back" function is just a double tap, it would make much more sens to maintain the desired zoom level and location when moving the next picture. Double tap then resets the zoom level. This would also be the same behavior as LR on desktop, which makes indeed much more sens.
Strange bug on iPad: the search functions totally ignores the folder names. Here are two screenshots illustrating the bug:An album called xTestFolderSearch containing 10 pictures:... and yet the result for the search of the folders name “xTestFolderSearch” yields nothing 😮
I think it would be a good idea to add a feature of 'crop from center of photo' to mobile version od LR.
There are many ways to make a timelapse but they are all pretty annoying to work with, don't work well with many full res images (+1000) or are expensive. It would be great to have an export tool directly in LR to make simple timelapse from a series or album with options to change the output resolution and framerate? Doesn't need to be anything fancy.
Hello, It would be very nice an useful if you can change background in scale option. Now there is only white otion. And I would like to kindly ask also for outline option. It is available only on Apple devices. Thank you very much for your response. BR Martin
My Corporate Customers often wants to have all pictures of their event in High Res (for potential future need for branding, large printing, printed material) and Low Res (for social media). Today I must go with services outside Adobe to share my picture due to this. The possibility to set the Resolution of downloaded picture of a sharing link would come in handy. Beside, I don't like the resolution set by default when sharing pictures from Lightroom. It is either too small or too large according to my need of the moment and I can't change it.
I love the Lr app, but also find it lacks a very important detail for a feature. In the "Detail" panel, the "Masking" slider does not outline or highlight what is being masked. There is no way to see what the effective change is while moving the slider. Can this be added?
Hey Adobe Crew, I have a folder in Lightroom which I want to share. That folder holds a lot of albums which shall be shared with other people. I want to add and administrate albums and images so they would be automatically up to date for everybody. I mean, I have around 100 albums for different purposes and they have to be shared with many people. so why can Lightroom not share folders? this seems pretty awkward. so my question, how do you handle this scenario? thanks D
I use LR extensively for culling. The iPad form factor + Apple Pencil make it really great as a culling device for my workflow. Sometimes though the viewable area when in the normal view makes the image a bit too small on the 11" iPad. If it were possible to have just a subtle flag/rating indicator in the corner of a photo when in full screen, when in the rating mode, that would be SO helpful and enable me to stay in the full screen view during the culling session. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. First photo is the normal view in the rating mode as it is. Second photo is what I propose it looks like when in full screen mode.
With the new update having all of your media automatically uploaded I now don't have just Lightroom edited media on Lightroom. This is very inconvenient for me due to having over 20,000 photos and videos on my one device. If there was a way to filter the Lightroom edited media I think quality of life would improve dramatically. It would allow more organization. As well as adding the ability to create folders to organize my work. Thanks.
Separate control for uploads vs downloading to store locally critical when on limited internet internationally being able to disable uploading while storing locally enables sharing of images that local thumbnails doesnt please please please space out the 'pick' and 'delete' (X) buttons, for obvious reasons !!
It would be great if the mobile version of LR could leave the adjustment and settings files (XMP) and skins (ACR) in the same location as the original photo file in mobile file system, so it's easy to move post production work from Mobile to desktop and CameraRaw can read this settings easy.
Years ago when LR CC was still young in development I was surprised to see there's no option to import a gps track file (used to assign location data to photos). Now the app is much more mature and Adobe keeps adding useful (and not so useful) features, but this basic functionalty is still missing. Please allow us to import GPS tracks in order to assign location coordinates to the files.
Hello Adobe : i Really like Your Work And Want To Learn more And i Want To Suggest That You Make This Generative Fill And Other Ai Feature in Lightrook mobile So That We can Also You That in Mobile Cuz Some Time These Websites Wont Open On Our Mobile cuz We Are From Pakistan That Why if You Pull an Update For Lightroom It Willl be So nice Of You
I have got a wide archive collection of photographs with multiple sub-collections. I want to use Adobe apps like Behance and Express to publish these photos. When I try to access my Lightroom library in those apps all of my collections are without any kind of order and just all over the place. There needs to be a consistent display across the entire Creative Cloud. There is also no way I can view the rating (Stars * for example) of each photo. This feature is essential and needs to be implented.
Does this application have any features that assist with a person having closed eyes. I have similar photos of a person with open eyes, which I'd like to cut and paste onto a photo with the closed eyes.
