I shoot a lot of group photos and inevitably someone has their eyes closed or moved the head, etc etc etc. Please use AI to take a face/head/shoulders from one photo and transfer it to another photo seamlessly inserting it in the group photo. This would save working photographers tons of time from doing this manually. Ideally, AI could search 2,3,4+ images shot during the same session and give us options of what might be the best head replacement from an image.
The Shape Feather Mask value remains the same when the resolution is increased. I have added 2 screenshots. There was no such issue in previous versions. It started after the latest updates and is still the same. In the screenshots I added, I have two shape layers at a resolution of 512x384. The feather value of these layers remains the same when the resolution is increased to bigger size. (1440x1080) I increase the resolution using Image Size. I checked the settings there, tinkered with them, but nothing changed. It's always the same. Scale Styles is selected in the settings. As I said, this problem never happened before. It probably started after version 2025. I'm not entirely sure. I'm using PS version 26.10.0 My system: Macbook Pro Apple M1 Max - 32GB Ram MacOS: Sequoia 15.6.1
That's that, a simple remove, even with a right click would do.
Adobe, bring back the Quick Share button that was at the top right of Photoshop (it was just removed with the April release of Photoshop 23.3)The reasoning for removing it is stated as "due to low usage, desire to simplify the options bar UI, and redundant functionality to other export functions."But there is no other export function (that I am aware of) that allows you to send an image directly to another device via AirDrop -- This was extremely convenient as I didnt have to save/export a file onto my HDD everytime I wanted to send something to my phone or tablet. Please bring it back and tuck it away somwhere if you have to.
When using the ruler in inches in Photoshop Web, there are five section to an inch (Attachment 1), as opposed to the inch ruler in the Photoshop desktop, which accurately depicts an inch with four sections (Attachment 2). Also, notice the size of the ruler marks in both version. As a high school photography teacher, im certian this inconistancy will confuse students and make simple measurement or readings uneccesarily difficult and push students away form using the web version of Photoshop. I'm recommending the inch ruler in Photoshop Web be corrected to resemble the inch ruler in the Phjotoshop desktop app. This is neccessary fix that can easy be corrected and released in a future update.
I think the file extension should not be limited to just .pds and .tif, .jpeg, .png, .pdf... should be added among the options. These options will not only save time for the user, but will also make business life a little easier. I think this feature can be added to Photoshop. It will add some more value to Photoshop.... thanks
In the newest update, the "Distribute" tools are hidden behind the three dots and a drop down menu. I use these tools often and loved how, in the previous version, they were all available in the options bar. Now, if I select multiple layers and want to distribute them and then group or merge them, which is something I do a lot in my line of work, I have to click on the dots, click on distribute, and then click away from the drop down menu to be able to use my keyboard shortcuts to merge or group. In addition, if I'm on Auto-Select and I accidentally click in my artwork and not in the artboard to get out of the drop down, I've lost my selection and have to go back in and re-select to group or merge. What was once a one click, one keyboard shortcut action has now become at best a three click, one keyboard shortcut action. This adds up if you do it a lot, and my workflow is being impacted. It would be wonderful to be able to modify the Align and Distribute tools that show up in the option
Currently for Photoshop users on Windows to install Scripts and Plugins and ICC profiles the user requires admin permissions to copy files in. This means any pipeline tool we may which would copy scripts from a repository has to run with admin priviledges as well... This keeps leading to issues for us, and this leads to user/company plugins and scripts needing to be installed on each and every version of Photoshop. I would like to see one of these 2 options to solve this... Option 1;Add these folders to search paths for Photoshop to use for Plugins/Scripts, anything in these folders would take precidence over what's in the c:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 202x\Presets\Scripts etc...C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Adobe\Photoshop\PluginsC:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Adobe\Photoshop\ScriptsC:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Adobe\Color\ICC\ - (would add to what is in C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color) orC:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Adobe
Windows 11Photoshop 26.9When using the move tool to grab a corner of a smart object, on click the size of the bounding box changes to the full size of the smart object. This makes it impossible to click and drag to transform. You have to release the click and then go to the new position of the corner. The transformation corners of the smart object should be consistent regardless of layer visibility within the smart object. Ether make it so that the corners always reflect the full size of the layers in the smart object or make it so that the corners only reflect the visible area of the smart object.
Why on earth is there STILL not an option to automatically scale strokes and effects in Photoshop like there is in Illustrator? This is 2025 and has to be one of the easiest thing Adobe could possibly implement. As somone who usually has to make 10+ sizes of most graphics, it quite literally drives me crazy to go in and "guess" what the right manual effect scaling could be for every single size. Every rounded corner gets ruined... every stroke... every drop shadow... ALL OF IT.Please Adobe, I'm begging you to fix this. (On a similar note: Please also add a better resize option like Canva has. Or at least a function that lets you rescale an entire artboard with the art proportionately. It's nearly impossible to make a 1080x1080 square into a 2000x2000 square with all of the artwork in the exact same place if I choose to change the size after the fact.)
Since updating photoshop beta I've noticed i can no longer deselect layers by just clicking an empty area in the layers panel. Now if i do that I get a message saying I need to press command and click to do that. Why? Adobe there is no reason for this extra step to be necesary. This change does not make photoshop better or faster to use. It makes deselecting layers less easy. Please revert to the old way or at least give us the option to choose if clicking empty space (without command) deselects layers in the layers panel. [abuse removed]
I'm looking for the feature of being able to convert a capitalized text to lowercase when we paste it into photoshop (although the font supports lowercase). There is a feature to convert from lower case to upper case, but we cannot do the opposite.
Feature Request: Currently, other AI generation can do this with meiocre results - I've only found one (on a real estate based AI gen site) that will not change the architectural shape of the building. I've attached what I'm looking for from that web site: changing the lighting in a photo from day to night without changing the content. Why is this useful to us? We render proposed architectural signs onto photos of buildings. If those signs are illuminated, it's helpful to be able to show the sign as it will look at night. Most of the time our sales reps only get shots of the site during the day.
Feature Request: File-Embedded Actions for Photoshop DocumentsI would like to propose a feature that allows Photoshop users to embed specific Actions directly into a PSD or PSB file.Concept:When an Action is created, it can be mapped to a specific file and saved as part of that file's metadata. When the file is opened in Photoshop, the associated Action automatically appears in the Actions Panel and prompts the user to run it.This would be ideal for template files, mockups, and client deliverables where specific steps are always required upon opening.Benefits:Streamlines workflows by auto-loading necessary Actions.Reduces the need to manually export/import .atn files.Makes sharing template files with clients or teams more efficient.Enables version-controlled Actions directly inside the PSD.This would be a huge boost for automation and workflow efficiency.I would love to see this considered for a future update. Thank you!#Photoshop, #FeatureRequest, #Automation, #Actions, #Workflow
Currently, Photoshop batch processing overwrites files if a file with the same name already exists in the destination folder. This can cause data loss when processing large batches of images. In After Effects, when rendering, the program automatically adds suffixes such as _1, _2, etc., instead of overwriting existing files. This feature is very useful and prevents accidental overwrites.I suggest adding the same Incremental Save Naming option to Photoshop batch processing (Image Processor / Automate → Batch). For example:Overwrite existing filesSkip existing filesAppend suffix (_1, _2, _3, …)This would make Photoshop safer and more consistent with other Adobe applications.Thank you!
Please get this into the next update.... or is there a script out there available??
Hello Adobe Team and Community,I am writing to request the development and inclusion of a native symmetry brush tool within Photoshop for iPad. This is a standard feature in other leading digital art applications on the iPad (like Procreate, Affinity ) and is essential for illustrators, pattern designers, and artists who create mandalas, character designs, and balanced compositions. The current lack of this feature creates a significant workflow gap for artists who rely on iPad as their primary device. While the desktop version of Photoshop has powerful symmetry options, the iPad version does not, forcing users to seek workarounds or use other apps. This feature would bring Photoshop for iPad to parity with its competitors and would be a huge value-add for the creative community who are invested in the Adobe ecosystem. I found that Photoshop is great for drawing, and I hope i can feel that feature in ipad, while procreate limit my layers number, photoshop is not, and its alrea
Id like to see a feature that shows, at a quick glance, what an adjustment layer is doing in the layers panel. At the moment, you have to either rename the layer, or click and see what it does. For example, a hue sat layer could show +m2, +b1, -y11 (+magenta 2,+blue 1, -yellow 11) below the filename(this would auto update). This would improve navigating in the panel and finding the right adjustments layer quicker. It would also eliminate the need to rename many of the adjustments layers as this would be automatic.
I was wondering if Adobe released any Photoshop versions for Linux? Because I looked everywhere in Adobe's site but I could not find any information.
When is it scheduled to export the video-compatible PNG file "APNG" in Photoshop? As of now, it takes a lot of effort to export each image as a PNG file and convert it to an A NG file with another software. By the way, I saw information that Photoshop supports APNG...?
As a product photographer, I developed a method to fix imperfections while keeping other parts protected using the Liquify tool. I created an action to handle all the repetitive processes, but there’s one thing that’s really annoying: having to check/uncheck “Show Backdrop” and manually select the correct layer every single time I use this action. I wish there were a way to record those options from Liquify into the action, so I wouldn’t need to do it manually each time.
Hi Adobe Team,Please consider adding a Mask Edge / Refine Edge feature like in Photoshop desktop. It's really difficult to clean up white or colored edges while masking on mobile. This feature is essential for clean cutouts and professional-quality edits on the go. Hope to see this in future updates! Thanks,Atharva
The current Sky Replacement feature in Photoshop intelligently replaces the sky in an image and blends it with the foreground. However, it doesn't provide the option to automatically detect and apply the new sky to reflective surfaces, such as in water bodies, puddles on a rainy day (which would be trickier for users to create), chrome on cars, etc., leaving an unrealistic effect where the water or other surface reflects the old sky. Users currently have to manually copy, flip, and blend layers and layer masks (and remember the associated sky settings) to achieve a natural-looking reflection, which can be a time-consuming and complex process, especially for images with intricate reflections or water surfaces (including the already-mentioned murkier street puddles which would be virtually impossible to get the current Sky Replacement tool to recognize as a 'sky'). Selfishly, if it has to be rolled out in Ps beta on only one platform to start, I'd wish for it to be for Windows 11 us
I think that Express feature of Dynamic Text is so smooth, so simple and effectivebut at the same time there isnt something like that in Ilustrator or Photoshop.Adobe please bring this feature to AI and PS. Its great and unfortunately we dont have its elsewhere. Thank you.
I believe that it would be a good thing to add native File Info support for the following to Adobe products via File Info and Metadata Templates: https://iptc.org/news/exclude-images-from-generative-ai-iptc-photo-metadata-standard-2023-1/ Caveats: Not for Adobe Stock and this requires that the embedded metadata is not stripped out :]
