Feature request: I love the artboards in Photoshop but I can't properly export layer comps now. Seems like there should just be a checkbox in the "Layer Comps to Files" dialog that says "Use Artboards". Adobe forum reference: https://forums.adobe.com/message/7953365#7953365
There are text prompts with the hotkeys for the Tools. Add the same for the preview checkbox (in Liquify and other filters) Turning a preview on/off with a hotkey is more convenient than trying to click precisely into a smaaaall checkbox. I didn't guess to check the letter "P" and I had to ask it here on the forum. It's not mentioned in the text prompt, though it should be.
After painting in Clip Studio Paint for a while now, I really learned to appreciate the toggle to turn a brush into an eraser and back. Especially as I can assign that toggle to just one button on my Citiq remote. Photoshop has something similar but there's no toggle to switch between the modes. It would be nice it that could be added. At least a shortcut would be nice.
I want Brush Settings to have a function that can be adjusted. Thickness, embossing colorI would like Adobe Photoshop to develop a brush with functions that can be adjusted. Thickness, emboss Of the colors, patterns and samples I have attached so much, please.I really want it. I love Photoshop and I use it to paint digital oil paintings. I am an artist Photoshop can Draw and paint as realistic as possible. After I tried so many drawing programs, even Fresco on my tablet, I tried it. I still love working in Photoshop.I don't need much Just add the Brush settings function to have a function to adjust the thickness setting. Of paint and brush marks onlyThank you very much for developing Photoshop to be a wonderful program for me. I have been using it since version 2.5 20 years ago. I love it so much and I love you guys. That made it upThank you very much
My problem is:When I create a Workflow with the following steps, see below, I end up with images 2 to 3 times larger than when I Save for Web. I also need to resize horizontal and vertical images so the Long edge is 1200 px. Change FormatPNG16-BitsRGBSave Transparency Resize toFit - Long edge1200 px72 ppiDon't Enlarge Please add an option in the Apply Metadata task the reduces file size similar to the Save for Web option. I've tried all the options with no success.Or Allow us to Resize/Fit - Long edge in an Action or in the Image Size dialog box. The only solution that works for me is to create two Actions, one for Height and one for Width. Please see the attached image that shows the same image exported via Workflow and Save for web. Thanks, Hector Godinez
When I scan old photos I tend to scan several at the same time to lighten the workload. I love to keep the border of old photos intact - the tattered edges and slight staining gives character and shows the photo has history. However the Crop and Straighten tool removes edges, cropping neatly into the photo.I would like to suggest an option to enable the photos' edges to be kept.
Hello there. I'm attempting to create a 3:3 image (9 panel social media post) via PS Beta (my macbook is unfortunately too old to access PS via my Creative Cloud account). My question is this: is New Guide Layer a feature that PS Beta Web (Free Trial) has excluded? If not, how does one access it? With appreciation, K.
As a replacement to often cryptic and undecipherable clipping groups . A way to simplify layer stack and ability to get a dynamic live masks from a separate stack of layers . Those layers could be put somewhere in the bottom and just marked as a certain layer comp. It would be working same as linked smart object. The only difference is that the subject would be linked to the same documents group of layers and thus working live. Without necessity to open and edit outside files to make changes.
I like noise gradient option but tweaking HSB range for color selection is somehow tiresome. Would be nice to just drop a few complimentary colors there manually. Maybe a special 3 point complimentary colors widget. Also I would like a kind of scale gradient option when I could select a part of a range and spread or squeeze it around certain chosen point . That all would be super helpfull for colorizing initially b&w design or photo. AI is nice but it never does what you really want .
As well as bothblend if sliders.I know I could do it by just copying same layer and restricting to say red or green . Still having it all working without multiplying layers would be nicer.
I dont really dont understand why not possible to create extra icons for menu action like rotate, imagine size etc and also for own action script? Working in Photoshop would become quicker
it would be nice to have a selective color correction brush tool in the Photoshop, with which we could perform quick selective color correction on some parts of an image with just one brush stroke. The brush settings would be like a selective color correction panel. For example, I would set in advance that I want to add 10% yellow to the red colors, then when I paint on the image, it will carry out the pre-set selective color correction wherever I paint with the brush. At the moment, several correction layers have to be created for each selective correction, and I can control these with layer masks. It would be much faster if I could paint on a separate layer with a selective color correction brush (like how I can do the dust retouch on a separate empty layer).
In current implementation it 's absolutely useless . Please, give us an access to height , roughness, etc channels at least. And lets us composite / mix materials in Photoshop please. I tried Sampler and I don't like it at all. Would be so much more convenient to do it in Photoshop. And I don't need any 3d preview at all, it never accurate anyway. Just make live lighting filter like in Affinity Photo. Please, just let the sbsar smart objects have height and roughness layercomps inside we could switch to in properties panel. Or better do the height as an extra channel like in Corel painter with add, sub and height blend/depth combine blending options. Well, the later CorelPAinter doesn't have really but why Photoshop couldn;t .Especially if it's recreatable by its usual layers.
Maybe there is a way and I just can't find it, but what would really be handy would be a folder system to organize your LUTs. Similar to what we can do with folders in libraries. My drop down list is just too long to keep scolling to find the themed ones. If I had a way to set folders such as "Warm Summer LUTs", or "Holiday LUTs" that would be so useful. Thanks
Why is it so hard to import a multi-page PDF to a single photoshop file with each page on a sepeate layer? It only opens it as multiple files and then I need to break my arm making the layers manually. Alternatively, I can use a script I found on teh interwebz that may or may not be a trojan horse full of viruses taht will destroy my computer. Which option is better? Tendinitis from all of the pointing-and-clicking to duplicate each page into a layerd PSD or risking a virus on my computer? It seems like it could be fixed with a simple menu option to import the PDF pages as separate layers in the file. Yes, I'm aware there's a convoluted way to do it via Bridge, but it creates all of these funky additional layers. Can a feature please be added when you open a multi-page PDF to have the option to open the PDF in a single PSD file with each page of the PDF on a seperate layer? It would be greatly appreciated! 🙂
Is there any way to make color lines showing image levels thicker, or make the area under the curve solid-colored as it was in earlier versions of ACR? Level adjustment which I was using for every image previously became almost useless to me in two most recent ACR versions. Particularly with new 4k monitor and senilis eyes, I cannot adjust levels in such way that use all the dynamic range of image but still not clipped.
Hello, In After Effects you can use the hand tool (and the shortcut with Space Bar) to navigate quickly through the timeline. I would love if you could do the same in the layers palette in Photoshop. For Wacom users it would be amazing not always to have to click on the scroll bar to find your layer, especially on a smaller screen. Thanks for considering it, Michael Heins
I often do have to "Hide all effects" because at some point, when using a lot of them, Photoshop becomes pretty much unresponsive. But at the same time it would be great to have the effect ON again for certain layers that I'm actually working on. But right now, I can only turn all of them back on again, which results in performance issues again. It would be great if there were two additional commands in the layer popup - "Show Effect" and "Hide Effect". Both of them just applying to singular layers. That would help a lot.
Hey, Adobe! Why not to add a Saturation mask preset here?It takes time to go through each color tab & manually change the values.Certainly, we can then save it as our own preset or make an action, but why not to have it by default? 🙂 In case someone doesn't know what I'm talking about, the Saturation mask is made by changing the Black value to -100% in each color tab & to +100% in Whites, Neutrals, Blacks.
Hey, the files won´t get smaler in future. Its so anoying to save for saveral minutes only to be told: " Hey we did not expect this panorama to be that big. Pls take more time and save again as .psb" Can we pls fix this? Maybe we can make a PS bubble for older files from 1992-2021 and a fresh ps developer team can think and work on a new version of ps that does not have to support files 30 years old. Avid MC had the same problem and is nearly as old. Who is joining in ? Peter
I do a lot of image restoration with a Clone Stamp tool. Using another file as a source for cloning. A very important feature is the ability to clone from a source using a "zero" offset.I have been searching for this without any luck. Is there a simple solution to reset transform (position, scale) values to "0" in the Clone Stamp tool? (A)You can do it with rotation values. (B) Currently, to reset transform I activate one of the offset boxes (being careful not to move the cursor over the image), select the 0 value and press enter. Not very handy at all. If I have missed something, please enlighten me. If reset functionality does not exist, please make a button for it.
I've been working in Clip Studio Paint for some time. To select a whole group in there you just press Ctrl and click on the group folder. Couldn't be more simple. If you have a groups within a group, within a group, that just saves huge amount of time. I don't know how Photoshop users haven't asked for this feature yet, so I guess I'll start. Please incorporate Ctrl + click for creating a selectin of a whole group (whole folder) of layers.
Add a feature, that I could select many layers or all of them and rename all of them by one cluck from one to ... last number. In case I had 100 layers, then I deleted 40 of them, in random order, and do nat have something like 5..38...67 I could select them and PS rename it 1,2,3,4,5 again. + Add more colors dor layer marks.
I'm a huge fan of the cyan guidelines in Adobe programs (the ones you get by clicking and dragging from the ruler). I also love being able to move/nudge them with my arrow keys on my keyboard in Illustrator and InDesign. This feature should be included with Photoshop as well. Since these programs are all designed to work together, it seems silly that such a simple yet helpful feature isn't included in all Adobe programs. Please give us this option!
