When dealing with visual effects, we reference frame numbers more than TC. Let's add "source frame" to the overlay options to quickly see what your source frame number is. 

I just need it to work on 4 channels . Couldn't care less of the CMYK itself

Summary of requested features > One Link Send and Share - No Access Request From Recipient after invite is recieved. > No logging out of file for others to work on it. > Share Full Files to edit ( invite to edit ) from your phone to any email     When you share access to YOUR TEAM - for them to take over and edit. Your recipient should not have to request access.    WHEN I SEND A LINK ( For My Team ) TO WORK ON THE FILE. "THAT" SHOULD BE GIVING YOU ACCESS.   It's like inviting some one to a party with an invitatation..., and then they call you and say... well, are you sure I can go, your sure?    There should be a way to turn this security feature off, I hate it. It's literally like locking the thing up.    When I send something off, I expect people to get right to work. Instead, I have to wait around for them to request access... meanwhile, I've moved on to do other things, meetings, phone calls... fight vampires, save the world. &

Ne serait-il pas possible de généraliser la possibilité de les charger dans notre bibliothèque Adobe, comme on le fait depuis Fresco, ensuite, nous irions y piquer les pinceaux qui nous intéressent et les enregistrions dans nos pinceaux avec les éventuels modifications de paramètres, cette façon de faire nous permettrait de ne pas avoir des tonnes de pinceaux que nous n'utilisons jamais dans notre travail et ainsi d'en limiter la liste dans PS....

Please include a Legacy-Version of the Font list (the List you can choose your fonts from in the Typography/Character-Window). The current state of the list (it is like that since a couple of years) is impractical when it comes to typography exploration. I always have to learn this the hard way. The way you have to pick fonts right now competes with an efficient workflow. In an older version, you could go through the font list via arrow keys on your keyboard (or use your mouse and scroll down; whatever you prefer). You duplicated the textbox, when you found a matching font for your project and proceed exploring - starting from the last font where you stopped in its original position on the alphabet. So, you found a font which starts with the letter »N« for example, and after duplicating and going down the list further, it kept proceeding with the last font you've chosen in the exact position on the list (N ... O ... P .... Q ....... Z) How the font list works right now i

 I know that this is a unique feature of Camera RAW. But it would be nice if it could be implemented in Photoshop. Of course, this feature does not provide very accurate masking, but I think it will be more effective when you use a brush to create a smooth layer mask in Quick Mask.

Many times, there is a suggestion in the forum to have a user reset the preferences, as it is known to cure many issues. Unfortunately, it sometimes does not work, and the user has to recreate them manually. Many issues can be cured by a reset of the preferences, that can be damaged during an improper shutdown, and I was wondering if there was no way to harden them:  If there is none already, could there be some form of error-checking done at shutdown, or at regular intervals during use?   Another safety mechanism might be to save the prefences file to a backup state at boot, and work on a copy of those? This way, the user with prefences issues could either roll back to previous, continue with current preferences, or use the default ones/reset them.   As an alternative, could we have a mechanism to export working known preferences using the import export preset mechanism?

I very rarely use my iPad Pro to edit… So I'm not that familiar with it... Where is the sky replacement tool located? I do not see an edit button.

I've been using a screen capture software called ShareX and it's absolutely brilliant. Images, short videos, progammable hotkeys to capture a certain screen or region, and plenty of basic editing tools for blurring and drawing on screenshots before taking them. I often have to take a screenshot of a very exact area, such as 64x64 pixels. But my hands are shaky and using the mouse for such a precise operation is difficult. However by pressing the arrow keys, I can bump the cursor by one pixel both before making my selection, and also while holding down the mouse during the selection. I know Photoshop area selection has the Style: Normal, Fixed Size, Fixed Ratio. I also know that I can just zoom in really close for precise pixel operations.But after using ShareX for so long, my muscle memory has ruined me. I just love the quick selection tool in Photoshop. Since I started using it I have gone over my entire collection of images going back to the 1960's. The one frustrating feature of this tool is that it automatically switches from adding pixels to my selection to removing pixels. This feature of this marvelous tool breaks my rhythm.I WANT TO BE IN COMPLETE CONTROL. Is there a way to stop this automatic switching?I am using Photoshop 2023 with OS Monteray12.6.3

Everytime we want to adjust the color of a layer, we have to add a dozen of layers for each of 'color saturation', 'color contrast ratio', 'color curve'... But if we can have all the adjustment options in one layers with different slider block which we could choose what we want to change, it will be space-saving and time-saving.

Hey, I would suggest to make available the mockup editing on photoshop online. It would permit to edit it quickly while needed, especially if we don't have access to a supported device for the app.    I might have missed something, that's possible, but i did not find the feature. On the app we usually double click on the layer so it open a file we can edit to apply it on the mockup. Here, doesn't work. This would be good !   Thank you.

Hi, a very common troubleshooting step that is often recommended in the forum is the recreation of preferences. It helps reset Photoshop to the default state, and quite often fixes problems, would it be done by a problem during the saving of said preferences, or a setting that was improperly changed.   But, sometimes, this step does not cure issues, and users who customized extensively Photoshop doing this step (if they do not follow the manual method described in helpx) will have to recreate their preferences.   Akin to the new beta feature in After Effects, it might be useful to get a Safe boot mode, that would allow one start with the default preferences, but keep the user preferences. As of Photoshop v24, a single click on a material creates a layer in the layer stack. First, this is really unexpected and unlike most UI we are used to, selecting an object should not trigger a generation, especially here a layer, and loading of the sbsar which may take several seconds. This workflow is also inconsistent relatively to the trash icon we can use to delete a custom material. We need to select it first before cliking the trash icon, but since clicking it also create a layer, basically we then need to delete that layer before deleting the material. Please fix this behavior which is not even consistent with its own UI, I'd suggest double-click to apply the material as well as right click with various options (apply, delete etc.)

How do you load and save actions in photoshop beta? I can see a "quick actions" panel but no "actions" panel to import actions or create actions.

Can we have the Color grading panel from ACR as an Adjustment layer in PS? Now if we want to use it not for the raw processing at the beginning, but for the final image after retouching, we have to merge the layers, make a Smart object (to adjust the settings later if needed), open it in ACR... an Adjustment layer would be handy & time-saving 🙂

A feature in which you can upload a photo of your own watermark that could be made in photoshop or illustraator and it would stretch it over the image just like the watermark in adobe stock.

Hi Adobe PM's and UX, Like all other drawing softwares, photoshop needs a feature to draw straight lines quickly, in a drawing/painting workflow (with graphic tablet).I wonder why photoshop doesn't have it? The Procreate example: We pick a brush, we draw a line, we hold the click, and a straigt line is created (with controled pressure variation). Please, make something this simple... please please please Context and actual solution: Actually, drawing lines in in photoshop is a pain, 1- Holding shift an click is just unusable with a pressure brush (it make a random faded-out brushstroke) And we need it to be controled.2- you have to do someting with the pen tools and fill with the current brush. But this manipulation does not use pressure variation...Thanks for reading 🙂 

When i go to add a solid color as a layer, I am unable to since the option is not there. Maybe Adobe could add that as an option?

Hi, I just started studying Digital Art. I was already pretty experimented with Krita, Autocad and Sketchup before trying out Photoshop. I thought my experience would transfer easily to the "industry standard software", but it didn't. Not because of a lack of skills, but because of a lack of feature customizations. I've been searching online for answers and they all left me empty handed. I've seen posts as old as 8 years old on the topic and yet, nothing has changed.So my request is to implement a feature enabling the remapping of Ctrl/Cmd/Shift/Alt's shortcut presets. Also, a feature enabling the remaping of Ctrl/Cmd/Shift/Alt combination for Tools.I still can't believe people are able to effectiently and rapidly work with this tool in its current state. I work on ships, I teach photography on ships and I edit my photographs - at least I try to - unless the program shuts down if I cannot connect to the internet.  I do have access to the internet every so often - so make a date that we can CHOOSE to connect to the system so those of us without a lot of access can do our jobs!  I just updated my Photoshop apps - and less than a week goes by and I have to connect.  I am luckily with service tonight, but often I am out at sea for a month and I don't have reliable service.  If you want to keep subscribers - let us choose when to make a connection to the mother ship!
