Option so that when transcribing the audio to subtitles, do not put punctuation symbols such as commas, periods, capital letters at the beginning of each sentence or accents...For Example, now Premiere Pro will transcribe like this:- The other day I was in the woods, I was bored and I didn't know what to do. It was getting dark.An option to receive this:- the other day i was in the woods i was bored and i didn't know what to do it was getting darkSeen like this, it's not pretty or visually attractive, but I'm thinking (because I'm currently working on it) about FAST content for networks, like SHORTS, instagram states... 30-second promotional shorts, where the subtitles last 1 second because they go very fast and they have at most one or two words and then the next subtitle appears.In this case, the punctuation symbols, the commas, the capital letters after a point... They don't make sense, because you don't see a whole sentence, you see a word after word because the content is vertical

Render and Replace is a great function but appears to only render a full video. It wouyld be great to be able to render and replace a MOGRT so it acts like a finished graphic with alpha, allowing you to still edit the images under the graphic. This would allow the timeline to work much faster and make the system more responsive while editing, but retaining the ability to adjust the parameters of the MOGRT is required.

I'd like to suggest a new feature that allows users to use output blanking into both the timeline monitor and source monitor. This feature would be particularly useful for those working on 16:9 projects and timelines and with a blackmagic playback, enabling them to seamlessly add (for exemple) a 2.39 aspect ratio letterbox overlay to both monitors. Additionally, enhancing user control, it would be beneficial to have the ability to adjust the opacity of the overlay for added flexibility.

The idea here is to be able to build a MOGRT that comes into Premiere as two different video tracks. There are a number of potential applications where this could be useful. I will outline why I need it, but also where else it could be useful. I work on a graphics package that features a number of statistical graph based graphics. The final edit needs to be delivered as an English version wigth full English graphics, but also as an International version (without English text) so other broadcasters can localise it for their audience. Currently I build two MOGRTS, one for the universal elements, such as pie chart, and numbers, and then a second one with English text. These are put in the timeline on two separate tracks. This can then be exported an international, the English track hidden and then exported again as an International version. The annoyance here is if both layers need the same data entered. Is it possible to increase the font size in the transcript for editing?  I know how to do it once I create the caption, but I need it to be larger while editing.  Is that possible? Thank you.

I would love for the color labels in Project view to be much larger: i.e. instead of just a small square in list view, It would be much easier to see if it covered the whole row of information - all the way across - name, and whatever columns you have.  Currently, there is a gray highlight, when it is selected, something to that affect but in the label color and visiible at all times.   In Thumbnail view as well!  I've never gotten any label to show in this view, so that would be helpful to see with color also- a bold outline of the color that is large enough to show.   Thank you for your consideration!

When I import files, Premiere will maintain the folder structure - unless there's only one item in the folder, in which case it will not maintain the folder structure, forcing me to rebuild it myself. I believe it's been this way for years now. Can you make it where Premiere will maintain the folder structure, even if there's only one item in the folder?

I've had something wonky going on today when I select "Send to Adobe Media Encoder." I've had to force quit and I lose my work between then and my last auto save. It would be super handy before sending something outside of Premiere Pro, the program did a quick little auto save in the background. Would have been nice today. 

I am using the crop effect often. Now I have to search and select the effect and drag it to the Effects control panel for every clip. When draged to the control panel it does not effect the footage yet.So..Wouldn't it be nice to be able to save the Crop Effect (or any other effect) in the Effects contol panel and to have the effects that I use a lot ready when needed? As far as I can see there is also no shortcut key possible to add the crop effect.

Would be great to finally be able to see how close a morph cut is to completion! Rather than the mysterious "Analyzing in background banner." And the new progress dashboard seems like the ideal place to include this!

When Premier Beta transcripts the audio, it often makes mistakes in the transcription, as most transcribers do. It is important to be able to edit these errors and have the software accept the edit and playback in the voice of the speaker. That would be enough for now. But, to make this software most useful and powerful, users should at some point be able to copy and paste text to the transcript and have the software accept that and play that back in the voice of the speaker. In my case, I am most often only editing audio/video in a single-speaker voice. With these changes/updates, Premier Pro would be most useful and powerful. I really what you have done so far.

I would LOVE the functionality of CC Repetile in Premiere, the After Effects plugin that extends edges. Specifically the unfold option to extend shots. I use this contantly to fix shots, and with versioning things to 9x16 it can really help reworking shots without duplicating layers. 

Not sure if bug or feature... But on multiple occasions I've been caught out where I've accidently deleted everything on unlocked tracks in my In Out work area, because nothing was selected. I've then not noticed when I've been working on a different part of the timeline and some times can't undo, or saved over.  It would be great to remove this entirely, and ONLY delete clips that are SELECTED, or have it as a setting that you can 'opt in' too.  

Does anyone know if its possible to add a background image to subtitles and store it in a predifined style ?Let me know. Thanks a lot.

Please consider adding in some new AI generative tools to Premiere, such as the ability to remove backgrounds without a green screen. Yeah, After Effects will be the answer right? Too much hassle. Plenty of FREE programs out there offer a simple few clicks and any background is gone in the video. It would be great if Premiere added similar features but incorporated AI generative backgrounds like it does with Photoshop. If Premiere had these options, even if half as good as the free options, my actual production time on set would be minimized not having to setup green screens. lol It's unfortunate that the most powerful video editing software (Premiere Pro) is falling behind the times. While I love the idea of making audio faders and such as just released in the Beta, I feel that if that's Adobe's priority, there is a problem.  For those who say use AE for background removal and they needed some visual faders while editing video, I'd say use AU for audio and let PR b

Please reinstate the MXF file import to just the MXF file and not have each MXF file imported into a seperate folder. WAY too time consuming and cumberson to go through each folder. I believe it was last active in 23. something... Thank you!!

Does anyone know if theres a free alternative to autocut, firecut and autopod? im trying to cut automatically to the speaker in a dilogue scenario, a function these third party apps do easily but for some reason the developers of premiere pro dont seem interested in offering as a feature. for what we pay this tech shoul dbe integrated MUCH FASTER! but no we are left to the horrendous costs from 3rd parties. any developers at PP have a timeline on this? I swear i saw a tool a year ago that did this cheap or free  but maybe in a different program. im consistently let down by the price of this software vs its functionality!

Not sure if with the new update there is a way but, is there a tool or setting to auto-straighten the horizon line for a clip in Premiere Pro?  I know the new Auto Re-frame Sequence setting is pretty awesome, seems like adobe could program ai to recognise the horizon line and keep it level the whole clip. 

Frame IO - Can a "Status" feature be added to let the editor know that the client / reviewer is finished making comments? This would be something that the "reviewer" would change the status of the video from Needs Review to something like "Comments Completed". I don't know what the exact wording should be.    

NO VIDEO CAPTURE IN A VIDEO EDITING SOFTWARE  For on set editors/spot editors and live event editors premium pro was very usefull untill adobe decided to withdraw the "CAPTURE" option from premium pro  is there any means that this Capture Option would be brought back in feature versions of premium pro?

Sample rate of 32,000 Hz not supported I am susing a Logitech C922 Webcam pro (with two microphones) on a mac. Audio output from this device is 32,000 Hz. Cannot use this device as the minmum input allowed is 44,100 HZ. The above Webcam is a poular device.

It dawned on me that text based editing could allow for Large Language model integration, by letting the large language model, for example Chat GPT go through the transcript, select parts of it that are nonsense "for example i have a hickup mid sentence" deletes it and this way it automates the entire editing process for talking head videos.  Ive already been able to create automations in premiere which prove increadibly usefull for producing content but this would be the next logical step.If tekst based editing was altered slighty whereby if we input a corrected script and thus highlights the parts which are now mismatched i think this could be easily achieved. let me know what you think, is this already possible with a work around, or are we stuck in the past... you can have the idea adobe and if you implement it i promise i wont switch to DaVinci Resolve...

So I have 15 short ads made for Google Performance Max (landscape 1200x628). Once approved they have to be reframed for TikTok (portrait 720x1280).   If I use Auto Reframe Sequence to convert GPM to TT using the (9x6) preset, then Premiere Pro sets the sequence size to 353x628 because it (understandably) looks at the shortest side of the landscape (628) to set the longest side of the portrait. In other words, PP does not allow you to upscale your sequence - it assumes that your footage is already at the optimal resolution and won't go any larger. In this case that is a wrong assumption - mine has all been shot in 4K and I have plenty of scaling room. 'Custom scale' doesn't work either - it always downscales, never preserving or upscaling.In this situation, I now have to manually change the sequence settings of 15 ads to my required size and then manually upscale all the various clips, graphics, adjustment layers etc. 🙎 I might as well have done it manually.So this isn
