When I apply a bezier curve to an audio level keyframe, when I close and then reopen my project, my audio curves have been stretched into the stratosphere, ruining my music edit. This has been happening for several years, over many versions of the software. It is noted by both PC and Mac users on the Adobe forums. See screen grabs below for before and after.
Can you add the option to select cuts/clips and bulk export them? Saw some videos about nesting clips and then using the project manager to export the clips. But it's not an efficient solution and not very practical when you have hours of clips to export. I should be able to just select the clips I want, right-click, and export.
For interviews and cutting a draft it would be so much easier to select transcribed text in the text pane and when you press delete key it removes this section from the timeline. If there is video linked to the audio then it cuts that as well from the timeline. I know this wont happen but it's a good way to make editing more efficient!
Current behaviour: Place a video clip on V1 and a clip which will act as a matte on V2.Place a track matte effect on track on the clip on V1 and set it to use V2 as a matte layer. Add a new video track at position V1, such that the old V1 becomes V2, and the old V2 becomes V3. Outcome: The track matte will still use V2 when it should point to V3. Desired outcome:The matte layer should use V3. the later used should increment by the number of layers inserted beneath it. I can't see any scenario where this shouldn't be the desired outcome. Can you?
I would love to see a motion blur option in Premiere Pro in the "Motion" effects panel, similar to what After Effects has. I think many in the community can relate when you have text, keyed objects, logo, etc., and want to animate it in a PP timeline. You add your position/scaling keyframes, but it doesn't have the pizazz that motion blur provides, so you dynamic link it to AE just to add motion blur. I know you can do it manually with a few effects in PP, but it's a big time waster. Would love to see this soon!
Hey guys, are you planning to add support in more languages in the 'transcription' section? This would be HUGE help.Maybe you can team up with start ups like Happy Scribe? Or maybe invite them to develop a paid plug in? Thanks!
Why i can't create a shortcut for sending media to Media Encoder Queue
I want to automatically cut a video using timecode data in Premiere Pro
When there are two text elements superposed on the timeline and at the same place in the frame, and that one of them is disabled, it's often (always?) this disabled one which will be selected when I click on the program monitor to modify the enabled/visible text. By clicking, I end up modifying an invisible (disabled) text, without being able to select the enabled/visible one.The only way to select the right one in order to modify it is then to remove the disabled clip from this place of the timeline...I think it would be much more logical if it was impossible to select, on the program monitor, an element which is disabled in the timeline and therefore invisible in the program monitor (or at least if it was not prioritary on enabled/visible elements).
When dragging and dropping a clip into the project window and then immediately dragging and dropping it into the timeline, the audio peak files do not display correctly... that is, they do not display at all... they just stay blank. Closing and re-opening the project resolves the issue, but this bug is nonetheless super annoying. Another thing that adds to the annoyance of the issue is that there is no longer a progress bar that indicates the rendering progress of the peak files. Before I upgraded to the latest version of Premiere Pro, I could at least see if the audio peak file I needed was being rendered. Now I have to guess whether the peak file has been rendered or not. So this is not only a bug report, but a plea to bring back the peak file progress bar!
How can we get Audition style slopes for changing the slopes at start/end of clips in Premiere Pro? In Audition it's so easy... while in PPro you have to add keyframes first, change the style from linear to curved and then drag it to your liking. In Audition you just hoover over the slope and drag it to your liking. You can even super-impose clips over each other and determine how the fade between clips will sound. I want that in PPro too...
Tenho adobe premier em 2 PCs, ambos com versões atualizadas, porém em um deles não existe a opção de legenda automática em português (brasil), mas no outro possui. O que devo fazer para conseguir essa legenda?
PLEASE allow the editor to choose whether or not tracks are added to the current sequence to match the tracks on the source. Most editors spend a lot of time configuring their sequence, and most sources have varying numbers of audio/video tracks. Automatically adding tracks to the sequence on source load with no option to first patch the desired source tracks to the prescribed sequence tracks opens up opportunities to add unintended source elements and make the sequence unmanageable in terms of number of tracks. Solving this issue by modifying all the source clips is untenable, as you cant even screen them without loading and causing unwanted track additions. It could be a preference setting to toggle track adding on or off.
Avid Media Composer has a nice feature where, if you enter, say +30;00 on the numeric keypad, and then repeatedly hit enter, the cursor will step through the sequence by 30;00 for each press of the enter key. This is incredibly useful for stepping through long sequences by even increments, or moving even increments down the timeline to paste elements from the clipboard. It should not be too dificult to code, and has great value. I'd love this feature addition.
I work for a large documentary outfit with many of our projects being distributed by the likes of HBO, Netflix, etc. The company has traditionally used Avid for cutting but we are increasingly moving towards Premiere -- specificially Productions -- for our projects because of the shared storage workflow functionality. One major problem we've had in Productions is clips going offline, not displaying their attached proxies, and not displaying their source clip effects, all because the program is unable to find the correct master clip within the production. As I understand it, Productions is linking to clips in sequences in two ways -- on the finder, which is controlled by the "link media" function/dialogue (which works great), and within the Production, to the master/source clips. All we have to control these intra-production links from clips in the sequence to their master clips is a vague "reassociate source clips" option in the edit dropdown menu. Sadly this
One of the things that I miss about good old Final Cut 7 is to be able to store my presets of transitions. Meaning I could have my custom setting of a transition and also my prefered duration of transitions ready to drop to a timeline clip at any time. And I'm not talking about the default transition, I want to be able to set presets of as many transitions as I want. Including the transitions from plugins. This is so I don't have the search for a transition and then adjust its settings and duration each time. It would be time saver, like in FCP 7.
1. Description:I've always thought Premiere's ability to receive an entire folder from Windows Explorer or Mac Finder and process the contents in such a way that (1) all the folders are preserved the way you organized them in your actual file system, (2) all recognizable media files within these folders are imported and begin processing, and (3) any files that aren't recognized as media are listed for the user at the end-- was one of the most fantastic things about it that really set it apart from most other editing programs I'd ever used. When the update came which introduced the "Create Project" screen, adding an extra few steps before you can navigate to the familiar Edit Workspace, I wasn't thrilled, but I figured I'd try to see the bright side and work with this new... "offering." But imagine my dismay when, after I'd figured out the tricks needed to navigate to the folder I needed, I clicked "Create" and suddenly all my footage was just plopped together into the "Project" Panel, a
Having the keyframe default to auto bezier creates so much unwanted movement, and having to change the keyframes on hundreds of clips eats up a huge amount of time. Could we please implement an option to change the default keyframe interpolation to linear?
Add Arabic language to auto transcribe will be usefull.
I love Adobe rush on my PC.I've purchased premiere because I need to use warp stabilize.I get completly lost and frustrated every time I try to use premiere, why is the time line always 2X my clip length?Where did my video go its in the time line and it exported 15 minutes of blank black screen etc...I realize that rush is the low end product and thus is missing features, so could we add warp stabilize to rush? or add a really simple rush like UI mode for premier?I've watched lots of tutorials and they all go waaaaaaay too deep into premeiere and I get lost.I only weant to trip clips to length and stabilize thats it... nothing more, not even doing any audio...
Hi, I come from the french part of Switzerland, and we use a very specific keyboard layout : qwertz (but not the same as in Germany). In windows. it's listed as "french (switzerland)". This layout does not exist in Premiere Pro. Hence, it is hard to use shortcuts. It would be great if it was possible to import a keyboard layout in Premiere Pro. What do you guys think ? Thank you,Romain
There seem is no way to set the ease on the right mouse button click for either the opacity mask path of the object itself or the transform effect mask path.Hope this feature will be added in the future.
Video editing software shouldn't readily suggest the user to add animated flashing effects to video content. It could be available as an advanced feature to be used sparingly. Flashing images are distracting on Youtube and may even be a photokinetic concern. Thanks.
You are finding out what an absolute crap sandwich Premiere is when it comes to media management. Media Browser is a joke. A hack. An embarssment. But Adobe "don't care". They just cash your subscription checks and pile on stat sheet features without ever doing any core improvements that true professional editors need. Adobe recommends Media Browser as THE WAY to bring assets into Premiere. Yet, you cannot even see the basics about clips, this gets even worse if you pulling assets from other active or archived Premiered projects. In that case you cannot even seen info like time code or other standard clip headings. TIME CODE is pretty imporat in our biz. Why not just have the ability to see custom bin views. (which are also a disaster). If you decide to ingest these files then be prepared for all sorts of zannies like having your clip name reset. This is due to hack upon hack being layered on top of Premiere's rats nest of dynamic linking (slow) and reliance on helping
Every morning I open the production I'm working on. And every morning I have to drag out the width of the "Name" column so I can read the list of Projects. And every morning I am struck by the thought that apparently no one at Adobe has ever done a similar thing and thought, "wouldn't it be great if Premiere Pro remembered how I arranged things?". Note: the enforced default width is undocumented, as is the length or number of letters displayed by default. R.
