Is theer a function in Premeire that will automatically cut to the camera of the person who is speaking when using MultiCam mode? For example, I edit video podcasts for work, and each person has their own camera (one-shots of each person). I use the Multicam feature to sync up the entire show. However, I still have to manually switch cameras each time someone speaks. Can Premiere detect who is speaking and switch to that camera?
I edit video podcasts, and I have to add a lot of photos as B-Roll over my work. Each photo is a different size and aspect ratio. I have to add in a slow scaling effect (zoom in /zoom out or panning right/left) to give the photos motion. Is there a way to use a similar Autoframe feature to get photos the correct frame size? Additionally, is there a way to drop a simple slow scale effect on the picture? In other words, instead of the Scale effect being based on frames, it can also be based on time or scale percentage. I use up some much time manually resizing photos and then adjusting the scale effect when I really just need the photos to zoom in at the same speed each time.(NOTE: I understand that scaling speed is based on the time the photo is on the screen, (AKA the length of the photo on the timeline), but if there is a way for AI to auto calculate the speed based on the photo size and duration, that would be helpful instead of constantly keyframing it.)
Adobe, please make a quick key that will allow you to move a mask (hand tool) and create an anchor (pen tool) without having to rely on the UI to change to the tool when hovering around a mask. The scenario would look like.Draw small maskHold CTRL + ALT + M, cursor turns into hand, you move selected maskHold CTRL+ ALT + P, cursor turns into pen, you can add anchor where ever the cursor isHold CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+P, cursor turns into -Pen, you can subtract any point your cursor is over No more zooming, having to drag around all points. It just works the same as if the mask was large.
Hello everyone, I always write the resolution in the file name (e.g. "Imagefilm_2023_3840x2160").I would like to automate this naming of the file in the export process so that "3840x2160" is automatically inserted after the file name. How can I adjust that? In the best case, this is done via a preset? [Moderator note: great idea, moved to Idea section.]

Hi there I would love to see the After effects motion tracking feature in Premiere Pro or a plug-in similar to it.It becomes a cumbersome task when you have two bones between both the apps to try and get tik tok effect just for that one auction.I am not sure how difficult or easy it is to implement this but I would really really love to see it in Premiere Pro.Thanks and kind regards.
I hate the unhelpful startup home page and specially the new project window. I use it never. Please, add an option in preferences to go to edit window on startup. Thanks,Lluís
It's a pain in the ass how many times I label stuff with separate speakers, and it still bundles the captions together. I would love it if I could precisely separate the speakers on the transcribing process and have it be consistent once the captions are generated.
I want you to be able to select whether or not to include punctuation marks in the automatic transcription function. 自動文字起こし機能で句読点の有無を選択できるようにしてほしい。ビデオの字幕では句読点を必要としないことが多い。句読点の有無を選択できるとテキスト編集の効率が上がるのでぜひ検討してほしい。
Hi, After using the speech-to-text feature in the Premiere Beta version (23.3.0) , I need to export the transcript as a .vtt file that keeps the speaker partioning info intact. Currently, there are 3 options: export transcript (.prtranscript), export to text file (.txt) and export to csv file. However:I couldn't find any tool that convert from .prtranscript to .vtt.When converting a .txt to .vtt (or .csv to .vtt), I loose information about the speaker partitioningFor example:Source in CSV:"Speaker 1","00:00:01:04","00:00:12:00","This is my first sentence."Converted in VTT: 100:00:01.250 --> 00:00:02.625This is my first sentence. Ideally, when exporting .vtt files, the speaker names should be formatted as <v NAME > in order for other tools to correctly extract the speaker name. Is there any workaround I haven't thought about? Or is it something that Adobe will consider implementing? Thanks a lot!
It would be great to be able to copy an entire transcription at once and/or export to text file without including timecode would be great. I add transcriptions of our videos to eLearning modules. The auto transcription and captioning is excellent and adding this would speed up final delivery as I have to copy a paragraph/ section at a time.
Every time we create something in the project panel, it does not automatically jump to the correct position alphabetically or numerically. It waits until you create another item or folder, then the previous new item jumps to position. If that irks you, you have to create a dummy item, then delete it. The only other workarounds are to click the Name caret twice, or close and reopen the project (the latter would be ridiculous, but is technically a workaround so I felt obligated to mention it).
The "Include clip copies without effects" option in the AAF exporter is a great feature. However, many sound mixers we've sent Premiere AAFs to have complained about all the extra clips that are created with this feature. The common wishlist item is for the "_FX" tracks that are generated by the AAF exporter to only contain the clips that have had effects applied to them, and not any of the other unaffected clips (isn't that the whole point of creating the "_No FX" tracks, to begin with? Also, does the punkrock band NoFX get any royalties every time someone uses this AAF export feature?) This way, the AAF import is much cleaner, and the mixer doesnt have to guess which non-effected clips they have to delete from the imported _FX tracks.
This was initially posted as a discussion on the Public Beta forum. Due to the suggestion from staffer Fergus H, I am reposting this on this forum. The current setup for log-encoded media can work fairly decently. Without too much extra/wasted steps, click, mouse to keyboard to mouse movements. The auto-tonemapping for instance works quite well with some clips, decently with others, though not so good with other clips, at least as we need them to appear. But the current ... process, not a system really ... has a couple inherent failings. At least, as far as being able to work quickly and smoothly. You must know the precise log format from the list in Interpret Footage that will work for each clip. And all clips need to work either equally well, either all with, or all without auto-tonemapping. In an Ideal world, that would be the case. But often we get say something that we think is from a Canon, it's log, but ... what log? No way of knowing. There's two o
Let's' face it. Turnovers in Premiere aren't great. It's time we fix this. Please introduce a new "List tool" like there is in Avid that allows for exporting multiple kinds of EDLs not just the basic CMX 3600. There are lot of other places that use different formats. In addition, it would be very useful to have for Change Lists. This has been something that 3rd party software has tried and failed to make work well in Premiere. It needs to be native. Lacking features like this are reasons why Premiere fails so hard at grabbing the narrative TV and film world. It makes it impossible to work with other vendors on bigger budget projects if you have few interchange formats to communicate with them. This needs to be added!
Please add Depth to the stroke feature. Why: because it's missing.........
Hi all, As someone who offers technical assistance to schools in using Premiere Pro - I'd like to highlight a few usability issues with the new Import screen that I've seen tripping up new users. I've given demos to new students of Premiere Pro (often being their first experience of an editing program) for the past 5-6 years now and the 2023 release in particular has caused a fair amount of confusion. 1) Project Name and Project Location is not prominent enough and the page makes it difficult to remedy after you've created the project. This bar along the top has proven too inconspicious for a lot of students. When I hover around the room and ask them to click in the 'Project name' field - the first place most of them are looking at is:The big blue button/bar along the bottom. The sidebar on the left or the right. The last place they look, if they notice it at all, is along the top where the fields are. I feel this could be down to the small text size, particularly in compar
Hey guys, For so long I have always tried justifying Paying for Adobe Creative Cloud as it suited my work flow, But every time you guys roll out and update it does not correspond with my Nvidia I always have to roll back version that don't seem to work totally clean either This bricks my PC Can you please iron out the kinks and build a better relationship with Nvidia for bot updates to correspond, It has taking back vital hours I need to carry out my work Please sort it out Im so frustrated writing this message My Pc should not be crashing like this RTX207064GB RaMRyzen7 3900X
To speed up removal of unwanted bits from the timeline, it should be possible to marquee around selected clips in order to select them and then delete rather than having to return to selection tool.
Someone told me,"People don't need this anymore, and essential graphics are more utilized," he replied. The answer is quite incomprehensible. It is an answer that does not take into account users and various designers in each country at all.And essential graphics have a lot of lags and errors.I tend to interfere with my work. It's unfortunately. Not everyone uses a computer with good specs. Not everyone is rich.anyway,Many video editing designers in Korea use legacy titles. Why?Legacy titles have very sophisticated character design settings.Sophisticated subtitle designs are available.(Please refer to the photo)The Korean subtitle design is of high quality.I use various colors, gradations, and effects. You can tell this by referring to some famous entertainment TV programs and YouTube videos.Legacy titles are most useful for such work. So, Adobe staff. Please restore the legacy title. Please. Please. In Korea, too many people work on design with legacy titles. Our livelihood is at risk. Please I
I think this would be a cool feature request! Imagine being able to use AI to sort by person, object etc in the project panel, if you'd like to? Surely this could be possible if it's being used in software like Adobe Elements (https://helpx.adobe.com/elements-organizer/using/adding-people.html) Would be another smart organizational tool for large projects with many subjects.
We already have 'show duplicate frame markers' which has repeatedly saved my life. What about if there was a 'reveal duplicate frame / clip in timeline' when we right click on duplicate clip in a sequence / timeline to find the duplicate lightening fast ? 🤩
Allow users to map keyboard shortcuts for video and audio effects. You can already to this for transitions. This would allow you to add your most used video and audio effects with a button click.
Is there way to relink offline media directly in media browser so I can selectively ingest (copy) footage from camera directories on archive drives or other premiere pro projects on library drives. If not, there should be. And while we are at can we unburry the ingest destination file directoy settings from deep in a dialog box to the media browser. Another fantastic item would be having subclips come back on line when you relink the master clips they were derrived from. Media management in Premier is TRASH. Can't even find decent work arounds. Coming from an Avid environment where this is a true strength. Other warts in Media Composer but professional media management is a must have. Premiere is just hacked together when it comes to that.
It would be hugely helpful for editing documentaries if there was a way to search all transcribed sequences at once. Is there any plan to add that capability? Thanks Tom
