Feature Requests

Currently in Premiere Pro, you can’t add keyframes to several highlighted properties with one click, you have to enable keyframing for each property individually. It would be great to have a shortcut or command that lets us toggle or add keyframes to all selected properties at once in the Effect Controls panel. This would speed up animation workflows and make Premiere feel more consistent with After Effects, where multi-property keyframing is already possible. It’s a small feature request but would make a big difference for editors who animate frequently within Premiere.
Could we not have the DV capture window from version 23 as a stand alone app, so we dont have to run 2 versions of premier pro and media encoder if you want to keep this functionality. I know there are third party options to do this but its always a bit sketchy downloading from unknown websites.
Every single time I export something from Premiere, the next thing I always want to do is go and check the exported file — make sure it came out fine, play it, and usually send it off for review or delivery. So basically, after every export, my next action is to manually go hunt down the file in Finder/Explorer. Why isn’t there a simple button or shortcut right in the export panel (or export completion dialog) that says “Open Folder” or “Show File in Finder”? It feels like such an obvious workflow step — every editor does this hundreds of times a year. Would love to see Adobe add a small “Reveal Exported File” button that pops open the output directory as soon as the export finishes. 🙏
Title:Enable Hover Scrub Preview from Bin to Display in Source MonitorDescription:Currently in Adobe Premiere Pro, the hover scrub feature only plays the video thumbnail directly within the Project panel (Bin). However, it does not preview in the Source Monitor. It would be extremely helpful to have an option where hovering over clips in the Bin automatically shows that preview inside the Source Monitor — similar to how Final Cut Pro allows quick clip browsing without manual loading. This feature would:Greatly improve browsing and selection speed when reviewing footage.Allow editors to quickly audition multiple clips using a larger, more accurate display (Source Monitor).Streamline workflow for editors who work with large amounts of footage. Please consider adding an option like:“Enable Hover Scrub Preview in Source Monitor”This would make clip review faster and more intuitive, especially for those switching from Final Cut Pro to Premiere Pro.Thank you for considering this improvement!
Please let me upload a list of proper names before transcribing a video. My boss has an uncommon eastern European name, and Premiere has NEVER transcribed her name correctly once. Premiere gets the name of my local school system right maybe 1 in 12 times. It would be so much easier if Premiere either learned from my usage. Or if it at least let me give it a list of proper nouns not to screw up. In the screenshot that should be my bosses name. It is nowhere close.
HI!I work with a lot of sequences that are multi-camera linked/nested and I have a lot of videos I'm editing at once. It would be great to have the function like in After effects with linked comps. I'm aware of the double click to go into the nested sequence and shift+3 for cycling but the going back is cumbersome when there is a lot of sequence tabs in the panel. In AE, hitting the TAB key brings up the comp tree where you can quickly pick the parent comp to return to. Would be great to have this in Premiere Pro as well for nested sequences. Is there already a way to do this? Does anyone else find that this would be a useful function? Would this be possible? Thanks a bunch.Andy
it will be nice to have un-nest featuresometime i nest parts but i dont want to undo my editing just want to un-nest
I would like to be able to Group tracks in my timeline when editing. E.g. when you do sounddesign you could group all the tracks with SFX audio. The it wouldn't take up as much space when editing other parts of the video/movie. Does anyone know if something similar is possible. Or if there are ways to make the timeline more organized?
Please make the Quick Export a brighter color. Almost unreadable. Pref are set to accessible color contrast 2025.5 and beta
Bitte macht das wieder rückgängig. Ich brauche diese Funktion z.B. auf einem Bild beim Ende eines Jingles.Danke
Clip markers should persist with the sequence by default, not depend on hidden XMP settings or cache refreshes. Hi Adobe team, It would be very helpful if clip markers placed on clips inside a sequence transferred reliably when sharing projects between systems — even when “Write Clip Markers to XMP” preferences aren’t enabled. Currently, markers that look “in the timeline” are actually stored in the clip’s source metadata. This causes them to disappear on another system unless both editors enable specific XMP settings and restart Premiere several times. Since this behavior is unexpected for most editors, it would make more sense for Premiere to store those markers with the sequence by default, ensuring they always transfer with the project file. If some users prefer to exclude marker data, you could offer an optional checkbox such as “Do not include clip marker data when sharing projects.” This small change would make collaborative workflows far more intui
It would be convenient and faster to be able to select multiple checkboxes in Remove attributes by the following: Click, hold, and drag over the boxes like when selecting mute/solo on audio tracks in a timelineA button in the window to select all/deselect all attributes, so I can then select only the items i want
Need Speech to text Bengali add on pack for adobe premier pro in next update.
In the Bin browser (project window) of Premiere pro, the "Sort Icon" mode in "Icon View" is set to "User Order" by default.Depending on your workflow this can be pretty inefficient, especially that the untouched "User Order" seems pretty random to me. In my case, I like to sort them by name in order to browse all on my footage in the order I shot them in. So it already happened to me to forget to sort them by name and finding myself selecting my footage in the random order that is imposed. Let alone the fact that it takes time to change the sorting mode every time I open a new Bin. I have at least 2 possible solutions for this:Let us choose the default "Sort Icon" mode in Edit>Preferences (maybe in "general" or "media"?)When we open the "Sort Icon" list, a "(default)" appears next to the default mode, and we can change that either by right clicking on a mode and selecting "set as default",Having a "Set default" option at the end of the list which opens a men
It would seem that this is a long time deficiency with Adobe Premiere / After Effects / Audition, that they have ignored chapters from imported MP4 Files. Now with OBS Studio bringing in adding chapters with their new Hybrid MP4 output format, this has become untenable - and is yet another thing that Davinci Resolve just natively supports. This needs to be added ASAP, as it will be a feature that many many streamers and content creators will want to use immediately, and will be anothe incentive to just jump ship.
One of the most upvoted feature requests is adding back .mkv support. It has been a mess for the community since Adobe randomly decided to remove it for no reason. After several years, Adobe announced they would add it back and it's in beta (2024), well, I just updated to the lastest version of 2025 and Premiere Pro as well as Media Encoder cannot import the file type, which is a huge pain still. Work around have caused audio pops due to remuxxing, corrupt files due to segmented .mp4 files, lost files due to non-segmented .mp4 files, and a ton of time converting it with third party programs.DaVinci Resolve can import .mkv files natively. It's embarrassing that Adobe can't even convert .mkv files with their MEDIA ENCODER program. With the cost of Adobe, it's a joke that us users have to bend over backwards trying to workaround a file type that used to work in Premiere and Media Encoder for a DECADE. When will .mkv be put back in?
When dragging a clip that’s already in the timeline into a blank space, I’d like Premiere Pro to automatically resize the clip’s duration to perfectly fit the available gap — either by trimming, extending, or time-stretching it, depending on user preference.Example:I have a 3-second gap between two clips. When I drag another clip (currently 5 seconds long) into that gap, Premiere automatically adjusts it to 3 seconds in duration, filling the space exactly. Why it’s useful:Makes rearranging clips in a sequence faster and more intuitive.Reduces manual steps (measuring gap length, switching to Rate Stretch Tool, etc.).Great for montage, music-synced, or fast-paced editing workflows.Optional controls:Preference to choose behavior: Trim, Extend Freeze Frame, or Time-Stretch.Shortcut key or modifier (e.g., hold Shift while dragging to “fit to gap”).
IssueI'm not able to create multiple subclips from the selected clips in the timeline using ctrl+drag/drop to the project panel. It only creates one subclip. Steps to reproduceselect multiple clips in the timelinectrl+drag it to the project panelconfirm the popup for subclip creation (already only for one subclip)only this one subclip is created Expected resultAll selected clips should be created as subclips as a batch (with the default naming) Actual resultOnly one subclip is created Adobe Premiere Pro version25.5.0 (Build 13) Operating systemWin 10
Please we need motion blur on premiere pro
give Ai like nano banana inside premiere pro
Would it be possilbe to create a setting (that can be toggled on & off) so that playback on the timeline automatically will automatically include pre-roll time - so that when you hit play, the timeline indicator automatically jumps back by a pre-determined pre-roll time, allowing you to review the moment where the playhead was parked on the timeline? This is different to the "play around" command, as I'd like to review my edit point & keep going, rather than loop playback around a small sectionI'm always jumping my timeline back in time to do this when I'm reviewing an edit before playing on, so automating this would be very useful for my workflow
That's it. Convert to anchor text? Now it needs to be made as a graphic? Add a four word subtitle shouldnt require such a process. Just stop.
It would be great to have a thin line, similar to the duplicate frame marker, that showed you segments of your source clip which are already being used in the sequence thats open in the program monitor. I've attached an example.
Just like the "Scence edit detection",an "Audio Silence Detector or Detection" detects silences or the absence of audio wave.(Maybe like "Analyse" in Audition!) This feature will facilitate the life of a video editor when the audio talent has looong pauses between words [IN ANY LANGUAGE] without the text edit transcription option..I'm still shortening these pauses manually... it is time consuming and exausting ;( Thank you for your consideration!
