Feature Requests

I propose to add a new function, its name (video DJ recording ). In online mode record the movements of the playhead, and the recording starts when the ctrl key is pressed. For example, we will be able to make video sketches to the rhythm of the music. 

I propose a quick button that flips your sequece from either horizontal to vertical or from vertical to horizontal.  In sequence settings, there should be a button you can press on the Frame Size line that with one click -- swaps the frame sizes from vertical to horizontal. Perhaps if you click Horizontal the frame goes horizontal and if you click Vertical, the frame is then vertical.  I know we have Auto Reframe, but for what I do, it's almost more work to fix the auto reframe than it is just to manually copy and paste my vertical attributes to the clips in my sequence in one go. And with everything I cut today, most of it ends up in the vertical space as well, so this is just a standard part of my workflow. Currently I just retype the frame sizes and move on (it works), but it just seems like such an easy fix to swap the numbers and the frame orientaiton in the Sequence Settings panel.  Atttached is a mock up of the Horizontal selection. Display small color swatches next to the name of each color label in the context menu. It's not easy to remember the difference between Caribbean and Cerulean!

I was wondering if in a near future it would be possible, once the transcription is generated by Premiere, to save it (as metadata?) and having it 'attached' to the file, so that when the file is imported into Premiere is already available?

Hola Señor Adobe, soy usuario de Premiere y me gustaría que agregues la funcion de rotar los videos antes de ingresarlos a la linea de tiempo asi no tengo que girar mi cabeza para poder previsualizarlos, se que una vez dentro de la linea de tiempo los puedo rotar... pero sería de gran ayuda que le agregues la función antes, asi agiliza el trabajo de selección del material. (usando transformar en el clip de origen quedan bordes negros alrededor del video haciendo más pequeña y por ende mas dificil de previsualizar rapido.) Lo ideal es que exista una funcion de rotar y que se previsualicen como si la cámara lo reconociera bien. Gracias por su tiempo y quedo a la espera de esta actualización.

En el monitor de origen cuando pongo reproducir y hago zoom el cursor se va de la pantalla.Seria ideal que avance el cursor con el video, no que quede atras y aparezca cuando pauso.

En los ajustes de las secuencias, si la secuencia es 1920x1080 y necesito hacer un reel (1080x1920) agreguen un icono que invierta lo valores, no me hagas escribirlo nuevamente 1080x1920 si ya estaban escritos.

I have several projects that I do often, including a TV show, which is organized the same way every time. All audio channels have the same preset effects in the audio track mixer, but different preset effects and settings on each track. I would LOVE IT if there were a way to save ALL CHANNELS AT ONCE in the project inside of the audio track mixer (and name it the title of the project for example) so that every time I have a new episode of the same TV show or reoccurring video with the same setup - I could select the audio preset for the project and instantly have all the effects and settings where they need to be. Is this possible? If not, could this be looked into for a future update? 

We need something that works like Final Cut Pros magnetic mask. A brush that will auto select and stick to its selection. Just like AE and Ps

The NVIDIA 50 series graphics cards have been released for some time. The new video decoder supports 10-bit HEVC 4:2:2 hardware decoding, but the current version of the software does not support it yet. Could you please tell me when a version supporting this decoder will be released?

It will be really helpful if we can be able to add "Ultra Key" effect as a shortcut. As when there are multiple footages in the same timeline that requires different ultra key settings, so instead of typing "Ultra" in the effects panel and dragging to the footage it will be really helpful if we can just select the footage and click a button with the specified shortcut of "Ultra Key" and apply it automatically. It will not only increase the workflow efficiency but also reduce manually typing or searching for ultra key in the effects panel and applying it manually. Hope you add this to the future updates so that we can also allow any effects from effect control panel to apply as a shortcut which will reallly speed up the workflow during edits. Thank you 

With all of the amazing ai developments - the enhance audio podcast tool is AMAZING!But since we film a live three camera "talk show" type setup with two speakers wearing lavaliers. We are painstakingly going through and disabling the audio track of whoever wasn't speaking in order to do a final "clean" using that tool.The podcast.adobe.com tool tries to "enhance" the audio of the other speaker whose audio is faint but still registers. As a result, simple wav exports of each lavalier are not possible.The main hesitation we have for using Speakersplit.io is ethics.Can you guys buy their technology or develop your own someday soon?I don't like the idea of running people's voices through that tool without their consent and without knowing that the company has the ethics around ai that adobe has...

Hi,Why isn't Premiere Pro always able to create word-by-word captions perfectly?I know you can activate 'Maximum length: 7', 'Minimum duration: 1.2 seconds', and 'Lines: Single', but this only seems to work about 95% of the time. Why not 100%? Sometimes I still end up with multiple words (three or more) in a single caption.

It would be useful, if there was an option to automatically order numbered images in the correct order, when importing a folder of images, named as diagram1, diagram2,....diagram10, diagram11 and so on. Currently, the user has to click through the images in the folder in the correct order up to 9, then continue from 10... Thanks.

Please include a skin filter in effects, so that when I film old professors, they are not depressed when they watch their videos. There is only so much that lighting can do. Also, if you can include in that filter a way to tweak skin tone and remove green spill from faces, that would be amazing.

I understand that, technically, a frame hold is literally a static, single frame, and doesn't have its own frames no matter how much you extend it, but I would love to be able to keyframe their effects without having to nest them first! Maybe a toggle-able setting would work for this, so it doesn't ruin the workflow of anyone who might rely on that feature specifically.

im not sure if its to difficult but instead of having to use the transform effect if there was a motion blur toggle button in the main motion control interface or something as simple as a shutter angle adjuster would be so huge and time saving. -a pleading user

When the heck are Adobe developers ever going to do something so the sequences can be LOCKED inside a Premiere Pro Project??? I am sick and tired, and I mean sick and tired of opening my Project and the sequences are all jumbled, and out of order. The software developers for Premiere Pro need to have a LOCK mechanism, so the sequences stay the same every time when you open up the project. Sometimes the sequences remain intact, but much of the time, the Sequences are out of order, or don't even show up, and you have to put them all back in order again in the project.  This has been happening for many years. FIX THE PROBLEM!!! Anytime you have many sequences in a project this happens. FIX THE ISSUE PLEASE!!!!

Right clicking files in the imported Project Folders, the terminology used could be to Remove (from project), instead of Clear, since the files weren't copied by default. Then, if the files were actually copied on import, there could be another command for Clear (Delete imported files). Thanks!

Sequences that contain heavy effects need to be rendered many times during editing.Even though the preview files are already exist after rendering,Premiere can't use those preview files when encoding.It is too inefficient to start over from rendering when encoding.For example, there is a sequence that takes 40minutes to export,35minutes are for render, 5minutes are for encode.Even if I had already rendered the sequence, it takes 40 minutes again to export.To reduce total encoding time, we need to the steps below.1. Export the movie with the same codec as the sequence. (no codec convert)2. Place the exported movie in the sequence.3. Encode. Is there any way to get this Generative Extend jive out of my tool bar? I dislike being forced to engage with this kind of gimmicky nonsense, and I downright resent being made to beta test some trendy, worthless flash in the pan. Would love if we could find a way to get this to the actual Adobe team.

Hello, when right clicking an Effects Controls automation location, the drop down menu doesn't show the status of the Ease In and Out option. How can the user see, if the option has previously been applied to the automation? Thanks.

I would like to be able to assign keyboard shortcuts to Function keys F13 through F24.I have ability to assign to those keys with other apps and would like to be able to do with Premiere too.
