Since the 24.4 update that changed the interaction with transitions between clips, you can no longer grab the clip break line with ripple, rolling edit, slip tools etc when your mouse is in the red area and you have a transition applied. You can only grab it when your mouse is in the green area which is very fiddly to do since it tries to click on the transition itself, rather than the edit point. It gets even harder when the track is shrunk to a small size and the relative red deadzone is still there but now the grabbable sections are even smaller. Please fix this by allowing these tools to grab ANYWHERE on the edit break line like it previously used to
I would love to work on Premiere or Photoshop or Lightroom in the new Apple Vision Pro. Is Adoble planning to port CC to Vision Pro once it comes out? Is there a timeline?
I usually work with interview footage. For a while now, since Adobe introduced text based editing, I have been using it and it has been incredibly helpful to work with. However, I have always felt it could be faster. The current system works by playing the video and stopping when a transcript selection has been made. Then the editor decides what to do with that selection. However, there are 2 things that happen through this process: 1) The editor has to constantly pause and play the footage while selecting the content.2) When the selection is integrated to the timeline and we continue on, the selection is overwritten. I would like to see a "highlight" form of text based editing. In this mode, the editor would have the transcript rolling along with the footage as it plays, like it currently does. However, when a selection is made, playback would not stop on the video, but the text would be highlighted in the transcript. The editor can now continue playing the footage, making h
Premiere Pro AI text to speech transcription's not in KAZAKH language. Let's change it!I see that the list of supported languages is small but right now Kazakh language and people who speak and use Premiere is growing fast. Would be nice to have Kazakh transcriptionist in your montage table or mobile app in Kazakhstan. Thumbs up and comment!
For this feature request, I am inspired by Blender. It has many niche features that can be useful, but are disabled by default. You can go into the program's settings, and toggle them on and off in the form of Addons. I feel like Adobe products in general could benefit from something like this immensely. I do not wish for Premiere to put computing power towards scanning my audio for speakers, I do not ever use any of the default effect presets, I do not ever use any of the libraries, I do not ever use markers. These are things that get in my way when they show up in searches, in menues, in my day-to-day life. Give me greater control to customize Premiere Pro on my machine and I will be a significantly happier user.
I just can't figure out Adobe's UI designers. So many updates I regretted I've done, so many UI design mistakes and bizzare approach. I think that your attitude and contempt for us -the users, will eventually strengthen the waves of leaving for alternatives. Why should I need to look for how to configure (from the beginning) each color of every item in your interface after I got used to working in a certain way- are you out of your mind?Did you mentioned this info in BOLD / headline of the update info?Did you ask your users if they even want to change the color? Did you published a pool about it?Who will compensate us for this waste of time?
"Project models for social media" have been added in the New Project window, but could it be completed to portaits preconfigurations for social networks in Export window ? If you want to export your work into a portrait format for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Short or TikTok, you have to do it yourself manually, instead of use a predefined preconfiguration like you do it simply where you work on a landscape format for Vimeo, YouTube, Facebook or Twitter. You then have to search the Internet to find the optimal audio and video data rates for this or that social network.
You guys moved the fx button on the clips to the right. WHY?Im constantly hitting that button immediatly after I place the clip but now I have to move the mouse all the way to the right instead of where it was on the left. Im going to get arthritis before im 40. Plus I was used to it, why change it or atleast give the option to switch wherever you want
At the moment you have to hover over a clip in the timeline to show its duration. It would be much more helpful if you could just activate it like the "clipname" for example so it is shown directly on the clip.
Please improve the Synchronise feature to be as good as Plural Eyes, right now it is so bad, almost unusable, especially for multiple video and audio tracks.
Feature request: You know how the program is smart enough to know what changes can cause parts of the timeline to require re-rendering? This optimization saves a bunch of time! I would like the same 'logic' applied to exporting. Here's a pretty typical use case...I'm working on a long, complex sequence with many effects. I finish work, then export, which takes a good while due to effects. Upon review, I find that I didn't set the in point correctly, or some other minor issue. When I export again, I want Premiere to ask me if I want to use the previous export as an additional source--if I say yes, then the portion of the previouly exported file that doesn't need re-rendering can simply be a bit-for-bit copy of the stream. This would save oodles of time. If I just forgot to move the in point from the beginning of the sequence to the start of the first clip, the 'differential transcoding' feature simply determines the new in point,
Text based Transcriptions don't let you choose speakers but static ones do? When transcribed they have different words and even then the transcriptions are so innaccurate on both ends, What gives? The first line should be:"Oh, what? I'm banning? What the hell?" Second: "It's your time to shine" At a quick glance you can see that so much of this is broken english and trust me the audio is not that bad when it comes to comprhension, especially the first speakers lines (blue) Btw, can't color code speakers? Static transriptions doesn't like curse words??Why isn't there an option to put in unique words like brand names etc.??? Adobe loves Ai so much now they can't even implement it to get the audio transcribed correctly???? Tiktok transcribes 1000% times better than this I'm so confused what is happening here? Wheres my money going????? Theres so many discrepencies and oddities to this archaic system how long is this going to last?????? Bonus iss
Most editors are very visual people. When I'm working on different timelines or pulling selects from a timeline, or using an old version of a timeline ECT. It would be so helpful to be able to assign a timeline color a to help keep things mentally orgonized. It could be a subtle color in the background or even on the specific tracks! The same way I have colored folders for various documents at home!MO COLOR BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey all!Wouldn't it be great to be able to duplicate a sequence from the actual sequence instead of going to the project panel?I'm thinking I'd love to be able to just click the sandwich menu onmy sequence and have some sort of 'duplicate and switch" kind of option where I can duplicate the sequence and switch to the new one.It would duplicate the sequence and add a number to the new one (an actual usable version number instead of the useless copy thing that happens now)For projects where we have loads of versions, like in the advertising industry, that would be a massive time saver.Instead of revealing sequence in project/duplicate/rename/close the original/open the new one and switching between panels twice in the process, it would be just "duplicate and switch."Maybe it's just me, but I have an insane number of copies of every sequence, and maybe a project has 2 hero videos, 3 cutdowns of each plus resizes, and you edit like 10 versions of each. It all adds up, and at the end, it's
Hello I have a suggestion and I hope it will be seriously considered. I am from the Middle East and I was hoping to support the Arabic language in the Premiere transcript. Thank you
I have a lot of editing to do with texts and paragraphes over videos in Pr and I find the tools to be very bad compares to After effect, photoshop, indesign or illustrator...I just don't know why Adobe does not use the same system as the other product... Anybody else find that annoying?
I feel the relinking process is still clumsy, I can't figure how Premiere can't still realize what to link after the same manual pattern of relinking is made. I wonder if IA can improve this process to make us life easier.
I propose the addition of a "Stroke Effect" feature, similar to what is available in Photoshop. Having a native Stroke Effect tool would streamline the workflow and enhance the efficiency of users.
This might sound a little confusing however, when you add automatic captions into your sequence, there is text display that is just constant black color. as such, what I am suggest is that like how in the transcript the word that is being spoke is highlighted do the same for the captain track and highlight it into a different color. It would also be nice if the word's were spaced based on which timestamp they were spoken on.
I'm sorry but what happened to the clip colors. They were so nice and pretty, but now no matter what I do they look inverted and gross. Is there an option to revert? Genuinely feel its hard on my eyes to look at these waveformsPreview
Please return the original colors of the clips and audio tracks! In large projects, these colors burn out the eyes, and they quickly get tired. It became impossible to work because of the very contrasting and bright colors! Bring back the old color set, please! Rolling back to previous versions of the program does not change the colors to the same ones. There are three different colors, it has become impossible to separate them quickly, especially in projects longer than an hour.
several have complained about this sudden change to the classic default color scheme in Premiere Pro. Including myself. I will hope that Adobe will revert back to what the original, classic color scheme for all the timeline effects soon. Having the option to change colors in the time line and audio, fades, etc. is nice. However, changing a default color scheme to a timeline that is worked on by highly creative people - for two decades like myself - is really not in you customers best interest. I love that I have the option to change a label (i choose my own shade for iPhone footage only). However, as you can read several on this topic, that wasn't a good move. Please change the default colors - and everything else that you may have changed in default - back to original and let us continue to have the option to change the labels to our own preferences. I just can't even really believe you did that to begin with. Thank you.
As said in the title, the Split button in Captions should split the text at the cursornot copy two times the same captions
How often do you find yourself travelling/working on site and you need to make a quick change to a project you've left at the office? Or how about you want to a freelancer/remote worker to pick up an edit from afar? So my idea is that built into a Team Project, you can render extremely efficient file size proxies - probably low bitrate H265 - and have them saved to a cloud storage server (integrate with a G-Cloud bucket, AWS, or Adobe's own) in a way that when working on the Team Project, seamlessly through Premiere all the proxies are downloaded to a local drive for you to smoothly work with. Then, when you get to export, Premiere can send the sequence to the render engine back at home where the original media is online. So workflow is:- Setup the edit project at office machine (MAC A), locally stored original camera files (OCF)- Create Team Project and check a new box to enable 'Hybrid Cloud Proxies'- MAC A renders proxies in the background and uploads them to Cloud storage
Please let me clear the cache of recent files on the 'open recent' list. I asked help about how to do this, their solution was for me to pay an extra $150 a month so I can have separate accounts for everyone who needs to use Premiere Pro in my workflow. Photoshop has a 'clear recent files' option. Surely it's not that hard to implement?
