From time to time I get a popup on entering Safari browser 10.1.2 on a MacBook Air 10.10.5.Don't know if related but this happened within a week of my installing Flash Player PPAPI Plug-in version 30.0.0.154 -- by clicking in SystemPreferences>FlashPlayer> install now, which took me tothe Flash Player website. I did this a little differently than in the past: at the end of the installationthe last panel says "finish", which I have in the past clicked and then gone to downloads and doubleclick to the installation. This time I went to the downloads and double clicked, and the panel thatsaid 'finish' did not reappear to click that tab.The popup that appears from time to time has at the top of it 'Join ______" (with my modem SSID numbernext to it). The apple icon is a white apple in the horizontal menu under this followed by: MAC iPad iPhone.. TV New Support a search icon and the icon for shopping. Then appears the message: "The p
Every time I update FlashPlayer, I ponder this question:"Why does Adobe keep whoring for McAffee?"Adobe is booking record profits. Do you really need to do this? Happy for your success. But really? McAfee? (even Intel bailed)The McAffee product is a tainted mess, and regardless of its potential or claimed merits, I am offended that Adobe keeps hawking it and hoisting it on unsuspecting users.Plus, uninstalling it when some poor sap accidentally forgets to uncheck the box, is a headache (at least on Windows machines).Adding insult to injury is the need to opt out by unchecking the box, which is to say, "We are going to install this horrific application unless you intentionally stop us - EVERY TIME."If Flash is really that insecure, then fix it or sunset it. If it is secure, which is the Adobe claim, then quit jamming this thing down our throats.Adobe makes great products, and on balance, they are a good company. This, however, is wrong-headed and destructive to customer relationships. E

I need to know how to update my flash player so I could do my college algebra. Any help?
Adobe, let me make this perfectly clear to you - though I'm entirely certain it already is:I DO NOT WANT McAfee.I WILL NEVER WANT McAfee.Yet here it is, checked by default, ready to screw whatever computer your average, unsuspecting user decides to update flash on. Grandpa wants to play Golf on Pogo? Needs a flash update? Computer won't boot. Thank you, McAfee, Adobe. Thank you so much.

In my college math class I have to take online quizzes for homework, and the quizzes require Adobe Flash Player version 10 or higher for the graphs. This computer has Adobe Flash Player but obviously not the version I need. Where do I go to download the version that I require for my computer?
I added a video in my site [link removed] But the video was unable to play for a flash error, I can play videos from other sites. So what is the problem ? can anyone help me about this problem?Note: I uploaded the video in my hosting path. Youtube video plays well on my site. Thanks in advanced.
I'm starting a new thread, because this is still stupid, and you still need to stop this bulls**t. Quit with the opt in pre-checked for us. No one wants it. If anyone does, they are certainly capable of clicking the little check box. You seem to think that we're smart enough to un-click it, so let us opt in instead. Really. Cut this crap out. I've already stopped using CS at home because it's so expensive and I hate the way that Adobe operates now. Things like this make me want to look at other options at work as well. It's shady, and you as a company shouldn't do things like that. If relying on people not noticing the opt in check box on a totally unrelated piece of software is what you're relying on to get McAfee out in the hands of users, maybe you should re-examine your business model.Thanks,-Pissed Customer
I've followed the instructions on Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlierThis includes downloading the installer, install_flash_player.exe for Firefox (20 MB size) and running it directly.Everything seems to work, but the installation page says I still have 29. Firefox lets it run--I see the tree and tire swing. But for some reason the upgrade isn't "taking."
We're in the midst of deploying an update of firefox/flash to 6500 production systems and we are seeing abrt captures of firefox's plugin-container crashing with flash on about 35% of the currently deployed population, several times a day. Apparently it is transparent to the users, as they are not complaining, but we still don't like the idea of multiple application crashes happening regularly.Platform: RHEL6.9 workstation 32 bitBrowser: firefox-52.6.0flash-plugin: 28.0.0.161reproducer page: Adobe - Flash Player (hit refresh multiple times and you can get it to segfault fairly often)I went through several iterations today of firefox versions and flash versions and it seems to fail in the same fashion all the way through firefox-52.6.0 and flash-plugin-30.0.0.134. If I go back to our production version of flash-plugin-26.0.0.151, I do not see the segfaults.I have a case open with RedHat, but they have now sent me to Adobe.core_backtrace from an abrt capture:{ "si
When I attempt to use flash on the touch screen of my chrome book it doesn't sync where I am pressing, I have no issue outside of the flash window. My interactions are moved up about an inch. Does anyone know how I can sync flash back up?
Does anyone know why Adobe isn't providing a clean version of FP to install without all these add ons or helper tools that you don't want. They are creating alot of negative waves and distrust for my perspective. Why? If you are reading this Adobe and you should be tracking thiswhat's the answer? I am ready to call Corporate on Monday and get an answer.
I have been searching for a way to remove or delete old Flash Player Control applets. I work for a very large company and our Vulnerabilities team wants the old applets gone.
When going to the Adobe Flash page, https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/about/Adobe - Flash PlayerIt shows the latest version as 30.0.0.154 across all platforms (which I have updated to). However the version information box says "update now". Also, the graphic looks different from what it has looked like for a long time (image attached).-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If I go to Flash Player Help it reports the latest version is indeed installed (image below). Why is Adobe reporting conflicting information? Thanks in advance.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I find I am unable to run cds which came with photography magazines. On loading one a box came up saying that I needed a flash player update.I do not know how to do this(it is supposed to come installed with my computer). What do I do?
When I go to the standard Adobe Flash Player update/download page ( https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ ) and click the "Install now" button, it simply goes to www.adobe.com. This behaviour is confirmed by hovering over the "Install now" button and noting that my browser shows the action/URL is "www.adobe.com". I have updated Flash player countless times before, it always takes me to this same page, but is has always worked fine in the past. What's up? Is the Adobe site broken?
I was notified to upgrade the Flashplayer and downloaded flashplayer30au_ha_install.exe. This file dissapeared from the downloadfolder and when I tried to 'manually' get the update, the file to download had another name flashplayer30_xa_install.exe.Am I being victim of a false Flashplayer and therefore accidantally have installed malware?
Hi,I have never had a problem opening .swf files until recently, not quite sure exactly when this started. I record work videos on a USB and then store them in dropbox, always was able to play them. Now the video will not play and I get the screenshot below. At 1st I thought maybe my antivirus (bitdefender) was the problem but I tried on a laptop that just uses the windows AV and same message appeared. I need to refer back to these dropbox files fairly often, any help would be appreciated! Also any explanation of what the heck happened? Why would that capability be removed or changed? Thanks,Tim WhistlerOS- Windows 10 homeBrowser- Most recent Chrome/Firefox/Edge, none work, see pictures.Flash version 30OK- screenshots are, in order 1 thru 71- Try to play video right off USB thumb drive2/3/4- Open video from dropbox in EDGE browser, video window at in pic #4 does not work.5/6/7- Open video from dropbox in firefox, video window in pic #7 does not work. It's the same in chrome. Thanks for an
Some of our clients have complained that since upgrading the flash player to 29.0.0.xxx (either .113 or .140), connections via RTMPS to our LCDS adaptors are failing to be established. Downgrading to 28.0.0.161 resolves the issue. The issue seems to affect users of IE11 on Windows. Switching to Chrome using v29 also seems to work. What has changed in v29 for IE11 that might cause this? Could it be related to changes for handling TLS or cipher suites?I can see 2 lines items in the release note, that might be related - Release Notes Flash Player 29 AIR 29 :SecureSocket and RTMPS with OpenSSL is not sending "server_name" SNI headers.Flash Player will not connect via SecureSocket to a server running only TLS1.2.So far we've been unable to reproduce this ourselves or capture any error messages.
My system has been working fine for years. Flash player has always worked in many video playing environments. However recently (a few weeks ago) Xfinity / Comcast made a change to their PC application allowing me to use their portal on a computer to watch and manage my TV shows and recording. It seems to be broken now when I get to the point during or after the application is "checking for Devices" and possibly accessing Flash Player. While troubleshooting this problem I had occasion to install and test several browsers. Edge, IE Explorer, Chrome and Firefox. I had only been using Chrome but decided to install and set up the other browsers. All of the browsers had problems with Flash Player. In FireFox I had the "common"? problem where the browser said that my flash player was not installed or activated. I confirmed that Flash Player WAS installed (latest version) AND was activated. Yet every time I tried to use the Comca
