Flash Player (read-only)

Hello,I cannot get the Flash player to update - like ever.  And it's not just Flash it's every Adobe product I have ever had the displeasure of trying to use in the past - I still can't completely get rid of the Adobe Creative Cloud software from my computer.   In the past I have only been able to get Flash to install *only* by finding offline installers!!! Reason, because you know you won't give me a license to download them!!!  I found replacement software for Adobe Reader because I couldn't find offline installers for that.So every time to update the player I have to go on a merry dance, because you keep on changing the place where I can download it from.  So what can I do to get it working because I am sick of this?!?

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me today as I am not an Adobe genius!  I'm using windows 8.1; internet explorer 11.0.9600.19078.  I recently suffered a system crash and now adobe flash, acrobat, etc are missing.  I have tried repeatedly to download from the site, and once it's done, it shows up in control panel's programs, but not on any menus.  Once I locate the file and try to install it, I get an error message saying "Setup failed; product configuration s missing."  Does anyone have any suggestions? 

Hi;I'm trying to download flash player 9 in my computer. I keep getting a message to close Chrome to finish downloading. Problem is as far as I know Chrome is closed when trying to finish. My computer shows it is closed.Thanks.

I deploy Flash Player by downloading a catalog from https://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/distribution/win/AdobeFlashPlayerCatalog_SCUP.cab and then distribute it via sccm.For release APSB18-24 it only contains the ActiveX component. There are no Plugin or PPAPI components in my download.Has anyone experienced the same finding this month ?Thanks

I was updating Mac Flash, I did it via the system preference pane. As usual it downloaded an installation disc image, I double clicked it as usual, it downloaded and I was asked for permission to run it which I provided. Then towards the end it asked me for the first time ever if I wanted to install a 'new helper app'. Smelling a potential rat and aware of malware packaged versions of Flash updates I clicked cancel. I had to do that several times and again when it was finished. Can anyone advise if this was a kosher thing and what the nature of this 'helper app' might be? If this method of accessing the update site is feeding malware you have a problem. I'm running Sierra on a mid 2010 macbook pro.

In our Tenant , Office 365 Videos are not loading in Internet Explorer .Whereas the same videos are loading and opening in Chrome and other Browsers.We've already opened a premier support case with Microsoft about this issue.  They've confirmed this is a Flash issue, but claim they have no way of interfacing with Adobedirectly and asked us to open a case with Adobe.  In our Tenant 20,000 are affected because of this issue and we request for a prompt and quick response to this issue.

HiI have both a desktop and a Asus Zenbook Laptop. I run Windows 10 1709 OS build 16299.492. I mostly use Firefox 61.0 (64 bit) but the following problem happens on Chrome and Edge as well so I doubt it is the browser. The version of Flashplayer installed is 30 NPAPI.I have spent copious hours trying to solve this with the magazine publisher, the IT person for that company and with the company that set up whatever they do to put the mag online. The magazine is fRoots. The company that puts it online is Yudu. I think both are based in Great Britain. I also spent a goodly amount of time with my son, who works in the computer security field in Australia. He is quite knowledgeable. I am good with computers but not a genius.The problem is this. I travel. I want to be able to download the mag onto my laptop so I can read the most resent edition while I am away. I can do this on my desktop but it is too big to carry. I'm using Windows 10, and have replicated the issue in the latest Firefox and Internet explorer. When browsing an article on the Reuters website they have a little video player pop up that runs an ad for Adobe before playing reuters content. This ad is unable to be muted, the video player has a mute button but despite having the video muted the ad still plays at full volume. The reuters content is muted after ad plays but to me this strikes of a purposeful and shameless bit of promotion on the part of Adobe. If providing an ad to the consumer for your product also has an entirely unfunctioning mute button it doesn't give me confidence in Adobe's products.

A website I have used frequently in the past will no longer allow me to access its features. I get a message saying Adobe Flash Player is required. I have Adobe Flash Player installed and enabled -- according to my Edge browser. Attached is a screen shot showing the results I get when I "test" the Flash Player. Where do I go from here? I keep getting the following pop-up on my mac and after reading about it I saw that there is a Flash Player virus going around. I don't want to update Flash Player and no matter what I do, I can't get rid of the message above. I usually Remind Me Later or Force Quit, if I go to Download, it brings me here, Adobe - Adobe Flash Player Download​  Is that a legitimate website and is the pop up also legitimate?How do I get rid of it so it stops popping up? As I said I don't want to update - so I uninstalled Flash Player, I also read to go to my System Preferences and delete the Flash Player Pane, which I also did, it's no longer listed. I have an application that works just fine in Flash player 29 in all browsers and does not work in Flash player 30 in any browsers.  My app doesn't use any of the restricted methods that were in scope for the version 30 release.  I've put trace statements in my code and can attach the debugger to it, however, when it freezes the debugger doesn't give any output or errors and the trace statements don't output text any more.  It's very bizarre and frustrating.  We have other Flash apps that work just fine with version 30 but this single app no longer works in version 30.I've experienced instances where stepping through the code in the debugger will result in the app working on occasion, it's not clear whether that's due to a timing issue introduced by stepping through the code or if there's some other factor at play.What's the best way to get to the bottom of this problem and determine a fix?  The guidance we've giving our users is to downgrade to version 29, whi

I received an update notification on flash player and activated the download. It appears it was a company, who is identifying themselves as MacAfee, masquaradingunder the Flash Player moniker. It loads a Mac Cleaner and to "fix" the issue with the program coming up and commandeering the computer....they want $299.95. The call center is operating near New Delhi. They insist they are part of MacAfee. Beware.

Hi, I am wondering if flash player can be safely downgraded from version 30 to the latest version of 29. The version 30 is not working for a game that I am trying to play and people had said to downgrade the version. Is it safe? Or should I wait for the update of the game to fix itself?

I am consistently getting a message that I must install Flash, even though I have done so 10X in recent history. What am I doing wrong?I am running a 2013 MacBook Pro using High Sierra 10.15.5

I am using Google Chrome to download  Flash Player 30.0.0.113, when I successfully downloaded the installer, I clicked it and it installed immediately. When it finishes, it automatically opened Chrome to step 3 of 3 of the download which is Adobe suggested products. But when I got back to my Downloads folder, the installer is gone, and Flash Player is no where to be found in my computer. I use Windows 10 Home by the way.
