Flash Player (read-only)

I am not able to get the flash player to work. I have to view live chats for school and it says I have to install adobe flash in order to view it, then when I go to download it states that I already have it. all the troubleshooting I have done so far says it should be working, but its not. I have no idea what to do now.

I have been using my computer to stream On Demand Content through Xfinity.  As of this evening I have been unable to do so.  I have been using Microsoft Edge OS 10.1.  I tried to use Monzilla Firefox and had the same issue.  I called Xfinity and confirmed the issue was with Adobe.  When I try to stream I am told I do not have Adobe.  I have downloaded the application several times with the same result.  Please provide information regarding how to resolve this situation.

Hi all,I'm working on a performance issue with a huge datagrid. ~80 columns, 100 rows.It's bearable slow in Chrome, slower in Edge, and slowest in IE 11. Using Adobe Scout, I noticed Chrome allocates a whole lot more memory for running the .swf than Edge and IE 11. And I still have ample free CPU and Memory.I contacted Microsoft support, who claims it has nothing to do with the browser, but the Flash Player plugin.I am wondering if there's any way to increase the memory allocation, be it system parameters, or a code change to the flash application.

We purchased a Lenovo ideapad320S and anything which needs adobe to run isn't loading. I have tried the trouble shooting on the links provided when it directs us to adobe site but it does not make any difference. the children need it for certain school programs and this is becoming an issue with their homework. any help grately appreciated. thank you.ps go easy on me, I haven't used a laptop in many years due to smartphones doing mostly all ive ever needed online. until now!!

Hello,I am running Flash version 27.0.0.187 on a Safari browser (Mac OS X). When I am reading a magazine using the flash player and double click to zoom, the zoom feature does not work. The progress bar stays on but the page never finishes zooming. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

For a few months I had some kind of problem with FP in Chrome browser. We bought our daughter a tablet to be able to do some of her homework with it is a LG GPad 8.0 2nd generation. We have tried to get her Reflex to work but you must have Adobe Flash Player installed. I have tried and will not download. Ideas/suggestions/HELP?

I have the same problem. I have enabled Flash player and updated windows 10 and it still isn't working. I'm in the middle of online studies and it was working until the Windows 10 update I put on my Laptop. I use Flash Player 13 and whenever I try to change the global settings, it won't come up.  I have tried deleting it and redownloading it as well as restarting my computer but it still won't work.

Too bad I can't start a poll because I'm sure I'm not the only one who is tired of having to vigilantly uncheck the McAfee software box EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I have to update Flash...which seems to be ridiculously often.  Seriously, just stop trying to fool people into automatically installing software they don't want, didn't ask for, and/or don't need.  It is asinine to make people jump through this hoop every time.  It is ridiculous that Adobe thinks this is acceptable for software in the United States.  Why can't Adobe just allow people to opt in?  Is it the same way in the EU and you're just f---ing over people in countries like the US that have weaker consumer protections?Seriously, JUST STOP THIS BULLS--- MARKETING PRACTICE.

[moderator: added browser to title]So I was trying to play this game (Town of Salem) then it said "To play Town Of Salem please install Adobe Flash Player version 11.4.0 or greater." I thought, I already have adobe flash player, so I reinstalled adobe flash player, i restarted my browser (Opera) and went back to the site, it didn't work again, it said the same thing "To play Town Of Salem please install Adobe Flash Player version 11.4.0 or greater.". Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can't use the Storage Settings panel with the following browsers -1) Opera - It was available until 2/3 weeks ago - from what I remember there was a minor Windows 10 update around this time.  Now all I get is a message saying this content requires Flash along with the button for downloading it.  I've tried reinstalling it but it makes no difference.2) Microsoft Edge - The Storage Settings Panel was available until about 3 days ago when I had a major Windows 10 update.  Now I'm getting the same problem as with Opera.Chrome and Internet Explorer aren't affected - I can still use the Storage Settings panel with these browsers. I found instructions for clearing the Flash caches in all browsers using the Control Panel.  Flash (32 bit) is listed but, when I click on the link, nothing happens. One of our systems, which is set to "Allow Adobe to install updates", has somehow been updated to 28.0.0.129 for both the ActiveX and NPAPI Plug-in versions. The users of this system do not have administrator rights. How did this happen when the latest release version is 27.0.0.187? Is there a setting somewhere that put this system on the beta channel? If so, how do I unset it? I realize I can just uninstall the beta and reinstall the release version but I would like to be sure that it doesn't happen again. Thanks for your help.

Within the past 24 hours, I found that I can no longer upload photos to Facebook.  Also within that time frame, my computer automatically had a big update from Microsoft, which took several hours.  I have Windows10.  I have tried to follow the instructions, but I have no idea how to "Open the page that has the rich media content in Internet Explorer."  Even clicking on the "For example, visit Flash Player Help" link doesn't provide me with a concrete answer, only a repeat of prior instructions.  I do not use a tablet or smartphone, only my Toshiba laptop, which originally came with Windows7.

It shows "Application Initialization Error" with a yellow Finish button. When I click the Finish button, it takes me to the official Adobe Downloading page.Old Adobe is uninstalled; have checked the same but New Adobe won't install.

I followed all the instructions in an attempt to reactivate it and found that all of  the setting are correct and as recommended.  My browser is Chrome and the OS is Windows 10.  Please advise.
