Please help with the uninstallation of Adobe Flash Player on Mac Os Mojave 

My antivirus keeps saying that adobe flash is a virus even though i never updated it since 6 years ago.And It also says that on my laptop that is from this year.I got really confused when I did nothing on it nor opened it since 3 years ago,and it said that only this week.I would like to know anything about this.

I am attempting to remove all remnants of Flash from my system. It looks like Microsoft designated these as part of the OS and therefore they cannot be removed, even manually. From previous notes apparently the "permissions" belong to Microsoft as part of the OS. C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\activex.vch C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\Flash.ocx C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil_ActiveX.dll C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil_ActiveX.exe Is there another method to remove these? I haven't used Flash in years, and would like to be compliant with Adobe's instruction for Flash End-of-Life (December 31, 2020/January 12, 2021).

I saw that adobe will stop supporting flash after 31st december 2020. Can i still play flash games after this date?If not how can i download it to run on my computer. I tried the usual method of downloading the .swf file. But after running it i get a blank screen and nothing else.

Is there any alternative for flash player?

Hello, I'm not sure this is related to the flash player EOL but I wanted to make sure. Basically when I open files with Adobe Acrobat I use the comment tool to take notes and I wanted to know if after the flash player EOL something will change about that, are the comments still going to be readable? 

I am one of several hundred thousand people in the United States who is an online English teacher for students in China. To teach, my company requires me to use their app on my Windows 10 computer. I am able to see the files in the app (see attachment). The app contains Adobe Flash Player. Flash Player will still work in mainland China after December 31, 2020. (See attachment.) I assume that because the company I work for is in China, Flash Player will still work on my computer after January 12, 2021, but at an ever-increasing risk to the end users (teachers) because security updates for Flash will end on December 31, 2020. Because of these security concerns, I want to work for a different company. However, the other company I am interested in working for (Boxfish English) requires the use of either an Android phone app or iPad app created by Boxfish English, which is based in China. I do not know how to determine whether the Boxfish English apps rely on Adobe Flash. Does anyone k

I have Flash Professional CS6 and use it to make animations. I export my FLA files as MOVs, which I then convert to MP4 video. However, in that process, Flash Professional CS6 does generate first a SWF file. It then converts that SWF to MOV, then deletes the SWF. In my Publish settings, I have "Target: Flash Player 11.2" and SWF is the only output option. So, after the death of Flash Player, will I still be able to export MOVs from Flash Professional CS6? Hi, our company have product that uses flash player as an old solution. We are moving it to the new solution, but it seems that we will not finish it until flash EOL.As a meanwhile solution we created electron [link removed] application that contains some flash player version. I have two questions: 1. Will it work after Flash EOL?2. If it can work should we have licences for distrubution (the electron application will be installed on customers side)?

Hi, anyone had this problem? The arrow keys dont work when I play flash games. Have downloaded latest version of flash (multiple times) and still the same problem. I load up a flash game, then can only use the mouse to play. Arrow keys just dont respond when used. Arrow keys work fine on other programs, just flash is a problem Really hope someone has had this before and knows what to do. Thanks for any replies.

Adobe has apparently built a 'kill switch' into Flash Player that will trigger on Jan. 12, 2021. We have been diligent in informing clients about Flash EOL, but there are still many who have not pushed the button on converting their content, and it is very late in the day. We are concerned that we will receive a sudden flood of conversion jobs after EOL. Originally, I had speculated that we could play the content locally, using Projector, but it sounds like it will be 'time-bombed' along with the Flash Player browser plugins. Part of our QA process is to have a person compare the original Flash file with the new HTML5 Canvas file. It's fairly important for ensuring the content matches as much as possible. Is there or will there be a solution to allow locally-accessed swf files to play?

We just need to be able to have Flash Player working until Jan 2021. Are there any possible workarounds? There is a suggestion to deply an old version of Chrome or Firefox and users use that. But if the Microsoft patch has been deplyed, will that work if the old broswer is installed?

I keep getting a message saying  "You must have administrative privileges to install Abode Flash player. Please log on with administrative privileges and try again".Well, I'm logged on as this is my computer and also logged on the my abade account but it still keep saying the same thing. What is going on?

Withe Flash Player rug being pulled out from under us later this year, is there a way of checking what applications would use it?  I have some old games that are likely to need it for instance.  Thanks for your help.

Hi, my HTML uses http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/swflash.cab to run Flash, it still working after 12/01/2020?  96% of my software has been converted to React, just need some days to finish it 🙂 Thanks in Advance and congratulations for ending Flash and give people one more reason to convert content to new Web programming languages.

I have rebuilt the flash player framework in pure javascript es6 + canvas, it has a compatibility of around 99% (including ALL the components hierarchy), does this have any value for someone?
