I can not seem to get Adobe Flash Player to work in Chrome on Windows 10

Using Ubuntu 14 operating system on a 32 bit computer of undetermined make.  I need Flash to download and work on this system.  It isn't.  I have downloaded Opera, Mozilla,Epiphany, something called browser, and  Chrome in order to be able to watch videos and play Good Game Studios Big Farm.  It doesn't work.  No matter what I load Flash in. Mozilla  claim that Flash has security issues which I can't override.  For the others it says it downloads and the tester on Adobe says it has loaded but it doesn't work.  So what are my options?  What else can I do to make this work

Windows XP, Professional Version 2002, Service Pack 3. Firefox 45 and Shockwave Flash 20. Search engine is Google.The problem is that audio in YouTube videos has many 1 to 2 second interruptions throughout the video and some are longer in length. They are frequent enough to be too annoying to watch and listen to the video.Any sound played through Windows Media Player works fine. This issue so far is entirely with sound coming from YouTube videos.I have upgraded Firefox to it's most recent version which is supposed to address this type of problem and I have uninstalled and reinstalled Shockwave Flash with no noticeable improvement.Operating Firefox in "Safe Mode" showed no improvement.Any advice you can give me to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

On a new ASUS laptop (bought about 2/13/16), as soon as I downloaded the latest Shockwave Flash it IMMEDIATELY began crashing whenever a video is played or an ad is displayed or I try to play a Flash-based game.  It happens both in Firefox and Edge.  It particularly happens whenever I try to play the games at pch.com.  On that site, as soon as the video ad starts, Flash crashes or as soon as I start playing a game, Flash crashes.  Most of the time the only fix is to log out of the program, log back in and then, after a game or two, it crashes again.  I've also had problems with flash scripts freezing and I've found flash to be using up to TWO GB of memory and up to SIX flash programs running at once with only a single tab opened.  Clicking End Task in Task Manager only fixes the problem temporarily.  Naturally, support at pch.com says the problem is either Flash or Firefox and they offer zero help otherwise.Windows 10Version 1511Build 10586-104Intel C

On most GIF and video files I open with Flash Player there is a red line going vertically down the center (as pictured below). On one side there seems to be less saturation, also it's really annoying to look at. I've tried disabling hardware acceleration, and reinstalling Flash Player to no avail. If anyone has a prospective solution I would be very grateful to hear them. Thank you ! !

Clients are Windows 7 x64.  Flash version is 20.0.0.306, but problem has persisted in all recent v20 releases.We have a screen saver that is built using a tool that convers PowerPoint presentations to Flash based screensavers - the tool is Flashpoint Pro.We have the screensaver deployed to about 5000 client systems.  We have been receiving dozens of calls per day that the computer is frozen and will not break out of the screen saver with a mouse waggle or keyboard press.  The computer is easily responsive from  remote management.  We can remote control the computer and when sending a ctrl-alt-delete, the computer will usually flip to the usual screen you see when you hit ctrl-alt-delete.   If you just hit cancel on that screen, you get dropped back to the desktop and everything appears to be fine.  We have been using this system for screensavers for the last several years without a problem.  The problems first started with an update to Flash

I get an install initialization error after I download and launch the .exe file. How do I fix this?

all of a sudden (gotta love that for a start) i get the pop up window:  unresponsive plug in,shockwave flash may be busy or stopped responding.  thanks for that newsflash, os = win 7, no recent changes or updates, browser is firefox, it is up to date, shockwave flash plug in is up to date.  i cannot 'test' it on the adobe pages because....i get the unresponsive plug in window.  i opened a chrome browser, it shows the plug in is current and...it operates properly in chrome, please don't tell me to switch to chrome, yes that is a workaround, i'd like to figure out what the problem is within firefox and get that fixed. 

I see that this question has been asked many times however, I do not see any answers that have worked for me.  I am in hopes that one of you will be able to help me.  I have tried for days.  It was working before and suddenly stopped.I am using Windows 10 32 bit. I have installed the latest adobe flash  player version 20.0.0.306.  I am trying to play Bubble Witch Saga 2 on firefox,  It keeps saying; No Flash Player found. 11.0.0 version required. I have done everything listed to try to get this game and Candy Crush Saga, Farm Heroes etc.  None of them workand all display same message.  I even tried to install old version of 11.0.0 but that didn't work either. My default browser is Chrome Google.    I am now contacting you in hopes you can assist me with this.  Thank you in advance.  Cindy

I am not able to download flashplayer. I get an error message: "Required file c:\windows\SysWOW64\FlashPlayer CPL App.cpl:5" could not be written due to insufficient permissions".  I am running 64 bit Windows 7 with Firefox browser.  My current Flashplayer is disabled but lists as 20.0.0.306. How can I rectify this problem?

Hello, I downloaded the newest flash player and out of 3 by 3 steps, it says its completed. However, I went to see a video but its says that I have to download the newest version of flash. Which I already done. I searched through the internet and figure out how to delete old flash files, etc. Still, not working.I am working on mac 10.7.5 version

How do I prevent the Flash Player installer from also installing McAfee, which it seems to do automatically with no cancel option, and which I do not want and will not accept?

I get a message  that flash does not support Flash anymore how  can I get a previous version after I uninstalled  the update?

Alright, so I have a simple problem with a not so simple answer. Basically, I have installed and uninstalled both flash and all 3 of my browsers (chrome, IE, and FF) so many times, and for some reason none of them recognize I have it. Chrome is more or less a unique problem, as with the fact they have an embedded version of flash, which a lot of people say (including me) is very laggy and buggy, and videos I used to be able to watch no problem 1080p are suddenly slow cpu hogs. I looked this up and people say it's because I'm using the embedded version, that you can "easily disable by going to about:plugins and disabling adobe flash." But the thing is, these people have two flashes in about:plugins, the system flash and the embedded. As seen by the attached screenshot, I only have one which is the embedded. This is where I learned that it was simply not detecting that I had adobe flash installed in the first place, which through the numerous times I have reinstalled it, I certainly do.

I applied for a licence to download and distribute Flash Player withing our organization last September.  I have been downloading the updated player since then with no issue, but this morning when I try to download the exe or MSI, I get the error that the file is not found.  Is anyone else having this issue?

Hi - I have a small MP3 player on my site.  Because of Google's war on Flash Technology, the player is masked.  This only happens in Google Chrome.  If you have a way to defeat this, Please let me know.  Thanks, Don

Trying to update Flash Player.  Reach install screen and Adobe asks (again) for username and password, then rejects each attempt.  Have tried numerous times over 6 week period even after changing password (5 times) to assure I had the right one.  Why?

The get.adobe.com site keeps telling me I have the latest version, but i don't!   I need .306 to make my application, called Tell Me More, to function.  Otherwise all I get is a blank screen.  I've been on tech support with Tell Me More in France and they tell me to get .306 using Internet Explorer or they can't help.   I have somehow gotten .306 on one machine and it works.  Tell Me More remoted in to a machine, got it to work, but a new version showed up, 18.0.0.228.   Where did that come from?   Tell Me More will work with that one as well.The other machines that DON'T work have 20.0.0.272.    When I try to go in with Google to get the .306 update, I down load it, and attempt to install it, but it tells me that "you already have the current version", so that is no help.Finally, I try to remove Flash Player... no chance..   "You have Windows 10 and it is integrated into the operating system"Oh, all Window

I received the email containing the links to the Flash and Reader exe's and msi's and the Distribution Agreement attachment however when I click on the link I get the following:Not FoundThe requested URL /get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_21_active_x.msi was not found on this server.Please assist. Hey every1 my Standalone player just quit and i cant do anything, no solutions yet, i tryied downloading older and newer version both failed, the window just quit or say "stopped working" this is pretty annoying, i really dont have any idea what can cause this problem, i would happy if some1 can help me with this one. Ps. im sorry for my bad english.I use standalone for a game called Tanki online.
