Flash Player (read-only)

I keep getting "plug in failure" and a big exclamation mark when watching videos online.I have tried un-installing and installing flash player several times but it doesn't seem to do anything.I have a mac OS X Yosemite - version 10.10.5Safari version 9.0.3Under the flash system preferences it says " NPAPI plug in version 20.0.0.286 in installed" if that makes a difference.I do not know much about computers and would really appreciate help Thank you

Adobe Flash Player one day mysteriously just STOPPED working while I was on the Facebook page, which I accessed through Internet Explorer, my browser of choice since the beginning of time. Even though Flash Player was enabled, and I re-downloaded it just to make sure, it stopped playing videos. It was not until I check-marked the boxes in the Flash download indicating that I agreed to also download Google Chrome, that Flash Player magically started to work, but ONLY if I accessed Facebook through Chrome.  This is manipulative BULLSHIT that takes away my freedom of choice, because now, if I want to be able to view the vast majority of videos posted by my friends on Facebook, I have to log in via NOT MY FAVORITE web browser. A stupid, mean, sneaky tactic that inconvenienced me for days until I figured it out, and instantly made me angry, and strongly dislike both Google and Adobe - even though I've been a loyal customer of both for years.

As I said, I have both 32-bit IE 9.0 and 64-bit IE 9.0 on a 64-bit Windows 7.0 System.Which Adobe Flash player do I have to install?Both 32-b and 64-b versions?, or just 64-b version will work in both??

We have an issue with Flash player on Firefox where it always picks the lowest bitrate layer, in spite of having enough bandwidth.  We see these error in the Flash debug logs ,Sat Feb 6 2016 10:44:29 PM.898 [INFO] [org.osmf.net.NetStreamLoadTrait] NetStream.Pause.Notify STREAMSWITCH:LEVELMGR: buffer time too low, levelling down------------,  Any thoughts on this  ?

Has anyone had luck installing flash player on a tablet? It's not working on our ipad!

I support Mac computers in a higher Education environment. Recently clients have reported multiple copies of the Flash Player disk image mounted on their Desktop (upwards of 20 copies). They cannot unmount the disk image because they do not have administrator accounts.When I look in Disk Utility, there are multiple copies of a file decryptedFile.dmg which mounts the Flash Player disk image. Opening the disk image has a "Install Adobe Flash Player" installer, version 18.0.0.209. I never ran the installer, of course.The path to  decryptedFile.dmg is located here:    /var/folders/zz/zyzvpxvq6csfxvn_n0000000000000/T/decryptedFile.dmg    Access to the folder "T" is restricted. Do a Get Info on the file and add local admin account with R+W access to see inside.As a work around, I unmount all the disk images from Disk Utility and then deleted the file "decryptedFile.dmg". I support a large number of computers, so this workaround becomes tedious and very time consuming

i'm using a pc. i want to install the new version, so first i run the uninstaller for the old version. but first i have to close opera(which i use) and internet explorer. but internet explorer isn't running. so, how do i fix this?

According to the adobe site, I have adobe flash player installed.  I am running OS window 8.1 and google Chromium browser.  Any videos that use flash do not run.  I went into the plugins list to enable flash but it does not show up in that list.  I have been through at least four sets of instructions on how to "turn on flash" but they all lead to the plugins list and enabling flash.  Can't enable what isn't there.  Where's my flash player and how do I get it in the list of plugins?

I've submitted the registration form twice, now, reguesting the MSI installers for Adobe Flash and Shockwave and have yet to receive an email from Adobe containing the links to download the MSI files. I've ensured the domain for Adobe is not being filtered. Is there another way to access these MSI installers?Thank you.

We are thinking about using flash elements on our new Wordpress website however someone told us that Google was not going to display any flash on websites anymore. Is this true? Running Firefox, whenever I tried to instal Adobe Flash Player, mid-instal I was told to close Mozilla.  This brings everything to a halt including aborting the installation.  How can I instal while running Firefox?My browser is Firefox 44 on Windows 10.

Hello,I would like to take advantage of Adobe Flash's option to silently install updates.I have searched and found way to disable the auto update, but I am unable to determine the correct value to put in the .MSI to enable the silent updates (Allow adobe to install updates) recommended.Overall, with all of the updates and the fact we have remote user's, it is best to allow flash to update on it's own as long as it does not nag for the end user to make any choices.I normally use Orca to edit the .msi.Any help would be great. Guten Tag,Ich spiele gerne über Facebook das eine oder andere Spiel,doch bei 3 Spielen wird nichts angezeigt,dort steht dann nur das der Flash Player Aktualisiert werden müsse,was er ja aber bereits ist.Habe es über verschiedene Browser versucht  denoch überall das gleiche.Ich kann nur diese 3 Spiele nicht spielen alles andere geht einwandfrei.Hab mich an den Betreiber gewand doch der hat mich an ihnen verwiesen.Bin alles mökliche an Fehlerbehebungen durch und das Proplem ist denoch.Ich habe eine PC mit Win 7 32Bit....Wäre super wenn sie mir helfen könnten...Danke

Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1 (x64)Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.39I want to update Flash from 20,0,0,267 to 20.0.0.286 for two PCs at home.  I want to download once and install twice.  Where can I get the complete installer file (not a stub installer)? 

Again, this was not solved in the other thread.  On my systems, Flash downloaded itself and there was not an option to not install McAfee (McCrappy).Adobe, this is completely unacceptable and it's called a pup.  I don't want extra stuff.

I have a couple of hundred servers that need Flash 20.0.0.270 installed. Does anyone know where I can find the offline install files? I looked on the "Archived Versions" page but, that version was not present.Thanks in advance for any help.

‌i simply can't get it to install

A definite change in the colour specifications on my iMac monitor has taken place with the updating of the lastest version of Flash Player 20.  My images now look like they have been given a grunge effect.  It is absolutely paramount that I get an accurate view of my photos for my photography projects.  I am fast losing patience with Adobe on their MUCH TOO REGULAR updates required for their Flash program. It seems like every new site I visit, several times a month I'm asked to upgrade my Flash because the one I'm using is out of date. This often happens within days of each update. And to make matters worse, I'm also invariably accosted with Spam  ads to download Mac keeper and such like programs for cleaning my IMac system. When is Apple going to put a stop to these as we all know we do NOT need an external cleaning system for the Apple system.If I can't correct the colour profile for my System I will have to revert to replacing my Mac with a windows OS. Adobe Flash Player is crashing and freezing my display adapter. Whenever I'm viewing flash content, my entire computer freezes. The screen is frozen, but it has these weird black bars across the display. There is nothing I can do at this point, so I'm forced to do a hard reset. I had opened a ticket with Dell, and they had a hardware technician check out my computer. They concluded the problem was not a hardware problem. I then contacted Intel to report a driver problem.
