Flash Player (read-only)

I just downloaded the "latest" Flash Player (ver.32.0.0.156) into Windows 7 using Internet Explorer (11.0.9600).  AUDIO playback controls are not visible in webpages from online-educational webpages generated by //hlc.quia.com/books for instructors.  I verified that Add-On Manager has "Shockwave Flash Object" enabled.I fixed this problem about a week ago, BUT it returned the next time IExplorer was started.  And the procedure I used (for FP 32.0.0.143) doesn't work any more.PS: in December, 2017 these problems did not exist.

I saw that Flash was trying to install itself in a system folder, even though I had it set to notify before updating. Blocked it, went into the prefs, and saw that the setting had mysteriously changed. I tried to set it back to "notify" and the UI literally switches itself back after I click.  Seriously, if y'all are going to be that horrible, just ignore the UI and run the update anyway.I uninstalled flash but then a few weeks later ran across the one place I still like to have it, so reinstalled it. I was happy to see I could set the preference to ask before updating. And then a week or two later--surprise!--same thing: I caught it trying to update itself without permission, and found that the preference was stuck on "allow Adobe to install updates". That's some seriously user-hostile BS, people.

Hi! I've got a question about Flash.  (Windows 10, 1809 version). My anti virus software detected a critical level update to Adobe flash.  (This was through a vulnerability scan I ran through my software, not a pop up I got while online). When I went to install the update I ran into trouble.  I have two browsers on my computer--Chrome and MS Edge.  I opened up Flash via my computers control panel to check for updates & see what version I have.  There was a link to update it right there in the Flash window, which took me to Adobes website that listed current versions of Flash for various browsers & operating systems.  When I looked at the version of Flash that I have on my computer, it matches the current version Adobe has out for Chrome--32.0.0.142.  However, the current version for MS Edge is 32.0.0.144.  I'm guessing my anti virus software detected the 142 version as being out of date, however I'm not sure how to fix this--I can't exact

In FB, in the games, Flash has started popping up a big black option box asking if we want to enable keyboard commands. Only thing is, it is NOT remembering your answers! The popup comes back every time you change screen size (zoom in, zoom out), often if you just change tasks in the game, and apparently if you run your cursor too close to the top of your screen. LOG OUT, LOG IN, THERE IT IS AGAIN!   The game developers say this is an Adobe issue, not the game.

Recently after the update from Adobe on Flash Player, a message "Content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player" is showing on my web-page asking users to update it. But I want users to view the video/flash on older version too and do not force them to update.

I have Windows 7 running on a Toshiba Sat. I have install Adobe Flash Player and it says it installed but when I go to download a software from Firefox it wont work then it takes me to internet explore. I am so confused and lost could someone plese help me

I downloaded a game from a creator that has a .exe extension.  When double clicking it it loads a window with Adobe Flash Player as the title.  Thats as far as it gets.  I have the menu bar and can select from it but cannot get it to do anything else.  Past releases from that same creator with the .exe file extension have loaded fine without that window popping up, but its been a while since I last downloaded one of their releases so I do not know when the change happened or what was changed.  Any ideas?

Greatings!!  I hope someone can help me solve a Flash issue.  So, I have on my computer Windows 10 Home, version 1809. When Flush runs with Chrome everything looks good but in Edge it’s not the same. When I check on helpsadobe.com the result is “Adobe is currently disabled” even if in Settings “Use Adobe Flash Player” is ON.The main problem is when I try to play poker on Party Poker. When I use a hand re-player the result is:Can someone help me with this, please?I'm thinking that if the test would look like Adobe is Enabled, everything would be fine and there will be no other issues. Hi.I tried to install flash debugger for IE 11 on Windows 10. Used ( http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html -> Download the Flash Player content debugger for Internet Explorer - ActiveX ) After downloading trying to install got the message that my IE already has the latest flash player embedded. Then tried uninstalled it (using the guide from: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html ) After uninstall, tried to install the debugger once again, but I still get the same message about flash player already installed, although https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html I get that my Flash Player is either not installed or not enabled. From IE -> Manage Add- ons I see that under "Not Available" I see Shockwave Flash Object, Plublisher in N/A and Status in Enabled. Thanks,John

I've seen a lot of articles talking about Flash being easy to hack. I can't tell if they are referring to installing fake versions of Flash, or the real flash player. If I were to run a real version of Flash using Google Chrome, would I be likely to get a virus from it, if I were to come across a sketchy site?

Hello,Flash (Latest version, 32.0.0.142) don't save any settings when I run Firefox (65.0.2 64-bits) unless I run it on administrator, which is saving without issue.How do I resolve this? OS: Windows 10.Thanks in advance.Edit: It also work with IE without admin. It's just with Firefox without admin that happen.

This problem started fairly recently.When I play a particular Flash-based game, it pops up an error that says,Your computer won't let your progress be saved. All standard error correction methods (updating drivers, chrome, flash player, installing other browsers, clearing cache and history, turning off hardware acceleration, allowing flash to work on the page) did not help. Hi, I am having a trouble with my adobe flash. I am using Firefox on my Ubuntu system. My adobe flash doesn't enable on any of the web videos(See Pic_1). So when I go to the official website to download the newer version of it (See Pic_2).After I finished the downloading, it gave me this error message (See Pic_3).I have tried sudo apt-get upgrade on the terminal. It is still not working...What can I do? I would really appreciate if someone can help!
