Hello,I run an older Visaul Basic software that uses the flash.ocx to run a flash file. Windows blocked this file. I tried to allow the folder the .swf is loaded from but still it didn't work. I have a software called Interlogix Truportal that uses flash to look at the software. Tech support for interlogix says this:Dear Tech,For the Flash player issue you will need to update the Firmware. Please follow the steps below in the Firmware Failure for the links to download and the steps to apply.Please also be aware that Flash is required to finish the update. You will need to figure out how to get flash to run on your own since this is Adobe owned software. so I need help getting Flash to run 1 more time to finish the update. HELP!

Think on this if you would. Why was it shut down? The answer some are saying is that the community for flash is dead. Wrong. Another answer that is being bandied about is: The pressure for flash's demise was the bigger AAA game industry. Maybe. The one that is most likely is that it cost more to keep it up officially than it was paying back. That's what I sadly think. Adobe is a company. It has to pay attention to what is the bottom line. I get that.  Luckily, there are those who work to undo the shutdown, those who post non-virus-filled links and downloads, and those who update it still. There are hundreds of tiny websites who are giving out Virus free download links. There is one that I go to every now and then and see that he dug into the raw code, found Adobes killswitch and is teaching others what to change in the code to bypass it. They will continue to post. We will continue this fight. Adobe has dropped the torch and It is up to those who care to carry it. T

Adobe, please give us a solution, we need our application today or our business cannot continue.We know about the danger of using Flashplayer but it's our own application, we use separate computers just for this.At least give us an old version that doesn't block our own content.

We have an internal intranet only application that has one part dependent on a flash object. I'll startoff by saying I have a working solution to flash not working after 11 January. We only need this to continue working for a few months until we transition to a different piece of software which does not use flash. I've had no success attempting to contact Harman via their webform or via phone. With the latest versions of flash and setting my pc to 12 January, it did not work. Flash loads and presents an icon instead of loading the flash object. I found that versions of flash up to and including 32.0.0.371 do not have the hard-coded shutoff and after loading that version I have full functionality again setting my pc's clock to future dates. Adding AutoUpdateDiable to mms.cfg and also setting policies to prevent Mozilla (with its 26 January update which should prevent the flash plugin from loading at all) from updating should cover us. Hi there,  Just recently, I started to see this icon before my sleep screen. I believe it is Adobe Flash but unsure what it means or what I should do. I would like to get rid of it if possible.  I have checked my creative cloud app and can't seem to find it. I have an HP D110a All-in-One printer/scanner.  It ran using flash player, but now has become only a printer due to Flash EOL.  It runs fine and is very reliable. Is there a patch out there that would work?  If need be, I would hard wire to my PC.  Using Windows 10. Jake K.   

Need to remove square image of grey flash logo with a white lowercase i in blue circle, that keeps appearing on lower right side of my pc screen. I am unable to see things in the lower right side of my pc scren due to this image that keeps appearing. When I right click this image it says it is Flash Player 32.0.0.445. If I restart my computer it goes away for a while, then reappears 30-40 minutes later and I don't know how to remove this which I need to as it is blocking the view of the lower right side of my computer screen. As far as I know, flashplayer has been unistalled on my pc so I don't know why this image is appearing. Need to know how to remove this.

I uninstalled flash because Adobe prompt me to, but now I can't access my security site without it. I need to reinstall flash ASAP. This a MAJOR Security Issue!!!

I use smilebox on my laptop to create slideshows.  After uninstalling flashplayer, my smilebox no longer work.  I'm not happy...messing with my livelyhood.  Is there an alternative fix to this?

Hi. I am currently a nursing student. My school requires us to use a training program to understand the hospital medical records system. In order to be allowed to go on our clinical site, we need to finish the training. I have contacted the hospital IT, and they informed us to contact the school. We called the supervisor in charge and she told us to contact the hospital IT. So, I decided to contact Adobe and they informed me to get on here; however, I see lots of information saying that Adobe Flash is dead and we are doomed basically. Is there anyone who could help me out since the hospital IT could not, the school could not and Adobe could not? = Desperate Nursing Student. Thank you.

If I don't upgrade my broswers Chrome/Firefox after Dec 2020, will Flash-based content be blocked? If yes, how (is there a kill switch built into the browswer or the Flash Player?) and is there any way I can continue to use the Flash Player with Chrome/Firefox as long as I don't update my broswer past Dec 31st 2020?

Hello I have designed an animated web banner using GreenSock. It’s a pretty simple banner with an image as a background and some text and graphics animated. Only lasts a couple of seconds.The size is 300x250. Now I’ve been asked to make it responsive for desktop and mobile. I have been asked to use a programme of your choice (GWD, ATOM or similar.) This is completely foreign to me as I haven’t had the need to use any programme. I am new to web animation and I simply post my code to my portfolio site.  Can anyone point me in the direction to where I can learn more about this. I’m not having much joy? Many thanks in advance.

Can not watch videos on my computer.  I try to down load Flash Player and it tells e to turn off internet explorer then it tells me application already running. When I try to watch a video it says installl flash player.Thanks for any help,Bonnie

I would like to know if the reminder of  Adobe Flash Player EOL will continue to pop up until I uninstall it?It will be easier to me to uninstall it using the reminder that is why Im asking.Otherwise I don t know how to uninstall it on my Windows 8.
