Hi,Is there a way to remove the underlines from hyperlinks created in HTML5 output?I have been searching for an answer but have not had any luck.Thanks for any help.Cheers,Elizabeth

The bug base allows to enter Feature Requests, but they are not listed in the Home view... One finds them only by specific search or knowledge of the number. After update FrameMaker from v16.0.2 to v16.0.3 my API-Client (FDK) dont print any text in the FM-console. I think i have to update the FDK-libs.  Under https://helpx.adobe.com/de/framemaker/kb/framemaker-downloads.html i find only the old version.  In the past the newest FKD-version (and the newest FDK-documentation) was only to find on https://www.adobe.com/devnet/framemaker.html .This site is no longer available. Does anyone know another download link?

I'm working with the German-language FM. When I try to update a book, I get an error message which translates something like: 'Book could not be updated because it contains no non-generable files that can be opened.'    I've attached the original German Error message.    I had not worked with Framemaker for several months now; the books I'm working with have been existing for years, and I've never had this problem before.    Grateful for any solutions!      

IT is trying to install Acrobat Pro 10.1.7 & we're getting this error: "Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed. Setup will now terminate." I've put the screenshots from IT below that show the error & all the Adobe products I have installed on my system & they have confirmed that the install works with Adobe Reader XI. I cannot uninstall FM as we don't have the CD and I already have all the scripts and Patches downloaded. Can someone help us get this working? Thx.

Am looking for a Adobe tool to record screen [user action on a PC] .Also tool to create animated GIFs . Example : Packet flow through a Network What is the right Adobe tool that is compatible with Frame Maker to achieve above requirement?

How do I preserve the hierarchy of nested bullets in the unstructured file in the converted structured file?I set it up this wayP: Bulleted Level 1        li      L1P: Bulleted Level 2        li      L2 which yields li[L1] and li[L2] I then wrap the entire list with this top level element:E:li[b]+&E:li[b2]+       ul which yields this:<ul>    <li>blah</li>     <li>blab</li>     <li>blab</li></ul> but I can't figure out how to get this, i.e, how do I demote the "blab" list items?<ul>   <li>blah<ul>        <li>blab</li>        <li>blab</li>        </ul>   </li></ul>Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

In BREX file I defined some values for attributes.Some of these values are two words, for instance, skillLevel value for sk51 is "Bike Rider". In data module when I choose sk51 it shows Bike_Rider and it adds an underline between each space in attribute values. I even tried to add space using special characters (like Control+space) but this time it adds some strange characters instead of the space. I would appreciate it if you could help me to omit these underlines. Is there any option which replace spaces with _ ?Thanks,Sanam 

Framemaker 2019 version 15.0.4.751Last few days as I'm working on a book files randomly lock as if they opened but didn't close correctly. The user ID on the message is mine. This obviously is a problem in running updates or printing as it stalls those processes. 

The FDK Reference lists a chapter on using the WebDAV client, but there is no WebDAV mentioned in the maker.ini file. On this forum I see no mentions of WebDAV past FM9. Is there no longer any support for this standard ?

I thought I did this before, but now can't remember how. I want to convert my FM file to HTML without any additional style markup. In other words I just want to see <h1> , <p>, etc. ONLY  without any class, dir, etc. info added. Any ideas? Thanks!

Dear all, Since quite a number of FM version the Marker Pod shows the selected marker only if it is open, before t he marker symbol is selected. This makers it impossible to get the marker text visible in the pod for the setting "Auto-collapse Iconic Panels" (FRMAKER-10962 ). Please vote on this! Test - Have a marker symbol selected in the document- Open the Marker Pod→ Nothing is displayed- Going back to the document closes the Marker pod according to the settings- Place cursor behind the marker symbol- Open the Marker PodThe following allows to see the marker contents, if the mentioned setting is OFF):- In the document select the marker symbol→ If the setting is ON, this operation immediately closes the Marker Pod... WorkaroundDo not use "Auto-collapse Iconic Panels" = ON for certain work. This is clumsy, as the setting is welcome in most cases.

While creating a task in DITA, the Steps element contains Step > Step Result element. If I insert the Step Result element, the text "Step Result:" is also displayed in my published output. I would like to use the Step Result tag, but I do not want to see the Step Result text being displayed in my output. I have gone through the style guides, edds, dtds, but don't know where the text is coming from. Please help.

I have several table styles.  When I change the color of the border row in a table of one style, FrameMaker makes it the border color of every table of every style in the document.  I don't want this to happen; some styles are supposed to have black borders and other styles are supposed to have white borders.  Does anyone know how I can fix this?

The Much Greater-Than character, >>, is shown in Character Palette for Times New Roman as 226B. When I add it to my document in a paragraph with a default font of Times New Roman the question mark character is displayed instead. Any ideas of why this is happening? I don't see the character in the Symbol font but perhaps someone with sharper eyes can find it.

I want to *type* the arbitrary block of text, have that block be clickable and jump to some arbitrary place without replacing the originally typed text with anything at all. <$paratext> overwrites the text I've typed with the text of the xref's destination.  I don't want to overwrite anything - I just want to go to the destination. (I have a Part List - and I want to highlight the Part Number and have it linked to the Parts Page. However the Cross-Reference includes the Part List and Description, which is too long and does not fit in the table. I do not want to include the Page Number, since I want to keep the table simple and uncluttered.)

In my FrameMaker book, I have a red squiggly underline below the word "to" throughout my book.  What is the cause and how can I fix it? Thanks!

I have a ditamap open in FrameMaker and it is actually a Doc object in ExtendScript. Is there a programatic way to see which topics are selected in the map? Thank you very much.

PDF creation stalls on the same page in a large book file. File is over 500 pages and has a lot of graphics. Tried everything. Deleted all content on that page. Deleted the page itself. Deleted just the graphic. Nothing seems to work. It works on my co-workers computer. It has worked previously on this same file with no problems. using Frame 2017.Thanks for any help!

I tried converting a project to HTML5 using the settings below using Fm 16.0.2.  These are the same settings I've used for years, so I was surprised that the output contained <p class="BodyLevel1"> instead of converting to <ol> with nested <li> tags. I then created a new test file with Fm 16.0.3, using a blank default document and a new STS file, and the same results. So, anyone able to convert to HTML5 using "Convert to List (using CSS autonumbering)"?  If so, any ideas why my conversion is failing?   -Matt   PS, it looks like there’s been a shift in processing…I don’t remember seeing: <div> in the body "Use Source Style" mapping of para tags behavior:  Was Bulleted maps to <p class=“FM_Bulleted”> Now Bulleted maps to <p class=“Bulleted”>  

I have an unstructured with a large number of chapter files and would like to group several of the chapters into a single chapter. FrameMaker Version 15.0.6.956Good morning. I'm having some trouble with table anchors and text running to the next page. In case this description is confusing, I've attached a diagram.I have two pages, and on each page is a table the fills up about 1/2 of the page. Beneath each table are some notes about the table in a Table Notes style that I created. All in all, each table should take up about 2/3 of the page. I've set both tables to start at the top of their respective pages so that both fit nicely on each page.For the first table, I have the anchor at the end of the paragraph (Body text style) on the page before. The table starts at the top of the page as expected.For the second table, I have the anchor at the end of the last Table Note (the notes listed below the previous table).The problem: The last Table Note on the first page (the one that has the table anchor) wants to jump to the next page, and the the table starts on the page after that, so that the Table Note is all al
