Fresco

I am using only pixel layers. Yet I indicate I want to draw on one layer, The layer is outlined in blue, and when I try to draw the program shifts me to a different layer. I can only draw on the original layer by deleting the layer fresco seems to prefer. Solution?

Does anyone know if it's still possible to undock the layer adjustment panel on iPad? It used to just be a little pop up window/dialogue, but now it fills a good half of my screen, and often covers what I'm trying to look at to adjust. I'd like to switch it to a floating dialogue like all the other tools if I can. Not sure if this is just something wrong with my download, or something that just wasn't mentioned in a recent update

I try to select currrent projects or make a new one and no matter what Fresco crashes. It acts like it will open and then completely close. Has anyone had similar issues or know how to fix it? Thanks!

How is everyone's experience with the new text too?  I am so impressed, it runs so great.  It seems like the smudge brushes are getting all the attention, but I think the way the text tool is design is amazing. It is really easy to jump through the text blocks, style text, and all the little details of the UI seem to be really innovative and work well. I don't actually have a question, I am just so excited about this release.

I want to record a timelapse but I don't know how to start recording or where the start button is! Can someone help?I'm using the Fresco app for tablet

I am new to digital media and have searched for this information and could not find it. Is it possible to move a selection from one layer to another layer within the same project? I know in photoshop Ctrl+shift+J can move a selection to a new layer but I didn't have success with this in Fresco. any help or direction to a previous thread would be helpful. thanks.

Is that possible to turn off ruler icon or move it somewhere else from the bottom right corner? I'm turning it on accidentaly during drawing. I do not need that icon, especially in that palce. Never used this feature

On my ipad i have a file that was created in Fresco. in Document view it has a green icon, i.e. is synced. I can open it in fresco. While trying to delete a file I'm receivin a message that action to deleting document failed. I can't reame it. In Creative Cloud files panel the document do not exist.Any idea what happened and how can I delete this file?

Fresco started lagging just today every time I draw a line it lags behind and I cant draw smaller features. I opened Photoshop and there is no lag. I tried restarting both laptop & tablet (xp-pen artist 13.3 pro), closing all programs except fresco and yet the problem still persisted. Any thoughts on why? I wasnt drawing anything heavy at all, just a simple sketch.

I recently purchesed a 2020 Spectre x360 15" with the model eb000. This is listed as being compatible on Adobe's website, yet I cannot download the program from the creative cloud app. Is there anyone else with this laptop that has managed to run Fresco? If my laptop isnt actually compatible, why have it on the list of compatible hardware?

Hi. My beloved and trusty Fresco has become extremely frustrating. About every 5 minutes, the app stops working for about 10-15sec. It doesn't "recover" and catch up with the brush strokes I've made during that time, it just like won't respond for a bit. Since I mostly use pixel brushes, that's when it's most evident and frustrating and very interruptive to say the least.  Couple things... This happened regardless if I'm online or off. I'm using an IPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen (late 2018) and using Apple Pencil.  I have over 200GB free space. Admittedly, the file is large: 6.25in x 10.125in at 600ppi. (3975 x 6075) Need it for professional quality.  It's file size is around 350mb. Which is actually nothing: my last piece was the same pixel size as above and 900mb, and it never once lagged. It's smooth like butter, (I opened it up today and played around on it to be sure.) BUT, that file had around 30 layers. My current file in which this issue is o

I just bought a Wacom tablet and I was excited to try out fresco. I've spent like 4 hours with adobe support and they controlled my computer, and after all of it, they said that my system was incompatible due to my i3 despite the fact that adobe says my system is compatible. I have reinstalled my graphic drivers, but I realized that the app actually has no file location on my computer. I definitely think that this has something to do with it. 

Hi all, I've finished a few drawings, with vector brushes, but I want to change the colours of some of them. I can't convert to a pixel layer, so locking transparency/ masking is out. I also cant use the fill-a-layer-and-then-use-the-downward-arrow-icon method either, as its flattening the images (almost making them pixelated) even if I've filled the layer above with vector colour... Any other way?  Thanks everyone! 

The only export to illustrator option I am seeing in Adobe Fresco is to edit on desktop. Can I edit Fresco files on Illsutrator on iPad or the sync as an editable file only works for desktop?

Hello, so I payed for Adobe Fresco as a student last month. Date was 25. I wanted to cancel my subscription after because I am student and cannot afford to buy another month. So I want to cancel it but I cannot because it wants my money but I dont have any and I dont want it anymore. Please help.. Its just one day after the day I should have payed it but I forgot about canceling it. Please help and let me cancel it please

So I have a circle I create with the eliptical marque. Normally in Photoshop you can just put a stroke on it to create the outline of the circle. I don't want to fill in the whole circle.  Can I do that in Fresco??

Bonjour,depuis quelques jours j'ai des probleme de synchronisation qui fait que je perds une partie ou l'integralité de mon travail.quand je lance le logiciel apres quelques heures d'inactivité j'ai des dessins qui ne sont plus la le plant de travail est vide avec un point d'exclamation. 

Why is adobe fresco not available for ipad air 2?

Is there any way to solve this or is it just Fresco itself? I have consistently reverted back to photoshop for my illustration work, which is a pity because Fresco would be amazing if it weren't so laggy. I know that this is a common issue, but is there a way to solve it and speed things up? I can't have a normal workflow with Fresco, it is just too slow. Info: Working on a Surface Pro. Lots of storage spaxe. High speed internet. Updated to the latest version. No change?

Hello I am new to Fresco and do not know how to properly draw a triangle in the cited-above version A search did not reveal the answer. I know about snaplines but this technique does not seem the best technique. The new shape tool seems to be the tool for this purpose but the popout menu does not give an option other than filling the triangle. I just want an outline of the triangle. Choosing the selection option creates marching ants that could be used for tracing over the lines with snaplines,1 but that seems to be not what the developers intended. I hope my question is clear. Thanks for any suggestions. Monty

Why can't I save or copy paste the color swatches?I really need it !Especially because of the "multicolor swatch"I really want to save it for my further works.

Whey there are only a few recent multicolor swatches?I personally use the multicolor color picker more often,but there are so few of them that I have to remake everytime... Could you please update?Also option for saving the color swatch to my library.(+ copy paste and deleting the swatch)

In the Smudge brush spotlight, it was mentioned that the secondary state of a Pixel brush would act like a smudge brush. This isn't working for me in the update. Is that a coming soon feature? Thanks. 

I am trying to save a Fresco file to Dropbox, but all the options are ghosted. I have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling Fresco, no dice. Any ideas?
