I use Adobe Draw daily for work. Once I'm done with designs in the iPad I export them directly to Adobe Illustrator in my desktop computer. It's a very smooth process and it works perfectly, the files are transferred with all the layers. Today I received an email from Adobe about the discontinuation of Adobe Draw, and its replacement app Adobe Fresco. The new app does not export files to Adobe Illustrator, it can export a PDF that you can open in Illustrator, but all the shapes are messed up and the layers are gone... How can something that works so perfectly be messed up? Can someone from Adobe help? Thanks.
I recently purchased the new iPad Pro and was really excited about using this app as I love adobe. But the app crashes randomly and doesn't save my work. I them have to redown load the app in order to open it again😔

Hi, I recently purchased the HP Envy x360 15inch 2in1; I've been trying to get Fresco to work and I keep getting the not compatible message. When I click on the more info and it lists the Envy as a compatible device it asks me to to check my drivers. I have updated both the nvidia and intel graphic drivers to the latest and am still unable to access the program. Attached are screenshots of all the driver versions. Any help would be greatly appreicated! (Attachments Deleted by Moderator. Please included them In Line with the Text by using the Insert Photos icon in the Tool bar just about the Text entry area)
I want to store png, jpg and so on in the Adobe cloud right away, but I don't know how. Is there a way?
Not sure what I'm doing wrong but one of my projects in Fresco does not appear as a cloud document. I'm using an IPad Pro. The project appears on the homepage but not as a cloud document. Any idea what I may have done to make that happen?
Right now I'm looking for replacements for your software, not because it's bad or expensive. It's the service received when calling about adobe products, Today for the second time this week I attempted to get an answer about purchasing Fresco for my IPAD while attempting to purchase Fresco I kept being told I have photoshop for the iPad and a second copy would come, I called asked if I had to purchase both at 20ish bucks extra a month or can I just get Fresco added or alone. After 2 transfers and 20 mins, I was given to a "Lee" whos comprehension of English was lacking, I had to raise my voice and speak to her like an insolent child to get her to understand what I would like to do. 8 mins later I'm told she thinks she can help me al the time I've been asking for a Supervisor or English Person in North America which was refused. 28 mins of wasted time and still no proper answer. I'll hold off on the upgrade now.
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows if Adobe plans to make Fresco compatible with HP Spectre x360 convertible 13-ac0xx? I am just getting started with my design journey and think having a stylus will make the experience that much better for me since I am better at drawing than working a mouse, but it's a little too early to splurge on an iPad when I have the HP and a Macbook. Thanks for any insight in advance!
I am using a new 2020 iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. When I select many of the pixel brushes, especially the comics brushes, my Apple Pen shows no response. I can change the pressure or velocity settings for the pen on the brush menu, but the response is still nil. I can get the crosshatch pen to show, but the response is spotty; there are some blank spaces that the pen cannot draw on(?). My finger can be used to draw easily. Additionally, the pen size for non-pixel brushes is radically different between my pen and my finger, the radius difference is almost a factor of 10! It's impossible to draw a very thick line with my Apple Pen. Am I missing a setting, or is this intended behavior? I have re-paired my Apple pen and restarted and reinstalled Fresco to no avail. Sketch works perfectly, why does Fresco not? I have included an image of the crosshatch brush with my Apple pen. I drew a scribble for 10 seconds, note the lighter space in the middle. I ran the pen over that spot
I'm trying to make a vector illustration and I need to control the beginning of my thin brushes and the thick end
Hello! Does Adobe Fresco automatically embed a specific color profile when exporting? I often have to move to Photoshop to embed as sRGB and I'd like to know if Adobe Fresco does this. Thank you!
I'm a Photoshop subscriber on my Windows PC and am considering buying an iPad Pro to use Fresco and Photoshop for iPad. Question 1: Can I download these two programs for free on my new device under my current subscription?Question 2: I understand Fresco saves files as PSDs. Can I export these files to my Windows desktop computer and edit them in Photoshop for Windows?
I have attached a photo of the most recent glitch. I have had files that were completed for over 24 hours and since I was connected to WiFi, presumably uploaded to the cloud, revert back to my beginning sketch. My signature from that file suddenly showed up in a new drawing I was working on after fresco suddenly crashed. The drawing I attached below was another victim to a crash and I lost hours of work on it. Today, after reinstalling fresco and making sure my iOS was up to date, I get this weird glitch off to the side which I have circled. Is anyone else experiencing this? Until this started happening, I really loved the fresco program and this is so upsetting to me. I want to be able to trust that my artwork isn't going to be destroyed.
I am creating digital artwork using the pen tool in illustrator on my PC. After I do that, I export it as a PNG with a dpi of 300. I then import that into Adobe fresco on my iPad to continue adding details by hand. I use the vector brushes. I set my “art board” to an 8x10inch then import the PNG image to draw over. When the image comes in (because I select 300dpi as opposed to the auto populated 72dpi) it comes in super small on the art board so I have to zoom it in to do any work or fill the board. Why can I not have a 300dpi image on a larger art board?if it fills the art board, it is a lower dpi.It then seems when I export the final product, the whole thing looks pixelated, the original image from Ai and the layers added in fresco with vector brushes. This is very concerning to me because these will need to be printed! I have spent hours researching why this is happening and it seems to come down to the dpi. But even if its minimum 300 it is still blurry. Which means it most certainly
Exactly what features and brushes are locked away from the non premium version?
It worked fine for months never had an issue, and all of sudden it just quit itself while starting, now I can’t open the app at all, I’ve try restart my iPad and deleting some stuff, but it didn’t work. i have the first gen iPad Pro, 12.4ios, and about 13G of free space.
I've seen this screen for the last 45 minutes Does anybody know what to do?I'm so afraid I'm going to loose my work
I have exported my vector illustration as a PDF and opened it in Illustrator. The problem then is that there are way too many paths. For example, there is a woman in a blue dress. It is all one shade of blue. Rather than it being one vector block in illustrator, it is about 6. The black outline on the illustration is split into little fragments. Is there something I should be doing in Fresco before I export the file, or something I can do in Illustrator once I import it to make the color blocks into separate, complete objects? Thank you! Cynthia
Since I installed the full version for school on my i7 Surface Pro 6, it crashes 9/10 times (or so) right after launch when "loading documents". There is no interaction between the launching of Fresco and this crash. I have been trying to troubleshoot this for weeks off and on, and now it is directly impacting my school work. It will happen with or without an online connection, ac or dc, etc. To be clear, it is NOT the 'switching brushes' issue others are having on their Surface, but some other fun one I haven't seen on the forums. I'm not sure if relevant, but when it is trying to load docs right before the crash. the cloud icon (near the upper right) is greyed out (compared to the icon next to it).
Fresco crashes as it opens I have it on my surfuse studio. I have just installed it from Creative Cloud Desktop.
I've made some work in fresco that I saved on a external hard disk. Saved as both pdf and psd. Now I can't open the documents in fresco. I can find the documents, but they are gray and won't be opened. How do I open them? I use a WP My Passport as external hard disk.
Have been working on a Fresco drawing for the past two days. My battery died and when I restarted the iPad and Fresco, my adobe creative cloud was empty!! Not only is my recent drawing gone, so is all my other work! About to have a meltdown so pleaaaase help me out 😞
Adobe Fresco has a great darawing experience. I believe it can be my only app if the developers would release the promised features like shape, perspective drawing and other upcoming features. I have used Fresco from the beginning and have waited for these features for over 6 months and the wait for these features are hurting me because I want to use Fresco and Fresco alone, not in conjunction with other apps. I understand 3 months, but 6 months is a little over kill. I appreciate the other small updates. The keyboard shortcuts is a huge help, but now is the time for the other promised features that I think will set it's self apart from other apps on any platform, Windows, iOS, or Mac (really hope you bring this app to Mac). I'm tired of using Clip Paint Studio for Perspective drawing and I know you have come up with a great rival to the Lasso Fill tool they sport with your own Shape drawing brush that I hope is just as malleable as it's rival.
Use Fresco and Photoshop on the iPad to turn yourself into a manga character To exercise my artistic muscles, I like to take a break from the norm and create art in different ways. I generally paint traditional or digital watercolors, but this time I created a manga-like character from a portrait using vector brushes. Since I like to draw in Fresco and I like to create and edit in Photoshop on the iPad, it seemed only natural to use both for my creation. I decided to draw the character in Fresco because it is a drawing and painting app. Likewise, I thought it made sense to open my character in Photoshop on the iPad to create a background and then edit my character there. There are many different styles of anime and manga, from relatively realistic to highly stylized. I chose to make mine somewhe
