I have been using Fresco on the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 (running Windows 10) for a couple of weeks now. It was working perfectly up until today (12.8.2021). Now I am no longer able to use the smudge tool. If I try, Fresco immediately crashes. I have made sure all my drivers are up-to-date and restarted my machine. The problem persists. I have submitted several crash reports. Please advise.
Hey, I was looking at the animation features in Fresco today and ran into some questions.- How can I select multiple frames on the timeline to transform or move for example? If I want to change an animated object at an advanced time, I can't possibly do this on every frame of the timeline, can I?- How can I change frames of the timeline from ons to twos? Is there something like "hold this frame for 5 frames" or do I always have to duplicate the frames?- Is it possible to see multiple animated layer also in layer form in the timeline? As soon as I change the timing on one object, I lose track of the other animated objects (of a different layer).Many thanks and best regardsSandra
Was working for months, but recently something changed and now it when I start it, it will open the splash screen but then immediately close. No errors or anything pop up after. I uploaded the logs using the Adobe log collector. I have the zip as well if there's specific logs that may be helpful to upload here as well, just don't want to upload all of them publicly in case there's something sensitive there but if there isn't let me know and I'll throw up the zip. Tried reinstalling Fresco, then Creative Cloud, and went into the folders and made sure all the file were actually gone before reinstalling. Not sure what else to try from here.
I sometimes don't use Fresco or Photoshop for a week or two, and when I return to either app after such an absence I'm starting to get the messages shown in the attachments. I currently have less than 20 files in my cloud storage, so I would not have thought that I'd be anywhere near my 100 GB storage limit as yet, so I'm paying my monthly subscription and cannot use the app as advertised. This happened once before and it seemed to right itself when I rebooted the iPad, but that solution does not work anymore. Could anyone advise? It is incredibly frustrating. Regards Alan
Hi there,i tested fresco on two windows platforms, and on both the app crashes after exactly 10 undos. it's always after exactly 10 times undoing. Tested on Microsoft Surface Pro 6 (Windows 10 Home, Version 21H1, Build 19043.1387, Intel Core i5-8250U, 8GB RAM)and Thinkpad P53, (Windows 10 Pro, Version 21H1, Build 19043.1387, Intel Core i5-9400H 48GB RAM
I really liked the brushes in Adobe sketch (acrylic brushes (thick brushes)), but I can't find similar brushes in Adobe Fresco.The acrylic brushes in Adobe Fresco seem to be flat, with no color change after layering colors. I would like to know if there is a similar brush (or about the possibility of implementing it in the future).
Hi, I'm trying to open a file. I can see the file clearly on my Creative Cloud, but when I tried to open the file itself, it keeps on saying that "something went wrong, please try again". I'm thinking that the file got corrupted somehow? All other files are showing up on both my Creative Cloud and iPad. On the screenshots I provided, document (52) is the one I'm trying to open. It's the only file that I can't open. I am using a 9th generation iPad running on iPadOS 15.1.
Im using Windows 11 and the vector erasers do not erase anything. The eraseers work just fine for the pixel brush. Whats the deal. p.s. im using a huion that does not respond to touch, only the stylus.

Is Fresco good for a desktop computer or just for a touch screen?
Same issue as https://community.adobe.com/t5/fresco/adobe-fresco-crashing-while-clicking-on-the-brush-size/td-p/10729146 Different cause, do not have a NVIDIA card at all use integrated Radeon Graphics on a 4500u, my partners laptop can run Fresco perfectly fine without any issues- exact same model as mine so this is something to do with software. Hello, Got new Nvidia laptop and Fresco is unusable. It might work for few minutes or several seconds and then all of a sudden it will just shut down with no error code. Several crash reports have been sumitted. The web is full with similar issues since 2019 and there is no real fix from Adobe.I really hope that the support will actually investigate what is causing the issue as this is a paid service and you simply cannot afford to be ignorant towards it. The system is Asus ROG Flow X13 with Ryzen 5900HS, Nvidia RTX 3050TI, all drivers are up to date.Fresco is running on 3.1.0 however it crashes on 3.0.1 as well.The issue is present regardless if I use the deducated graphics or limit to just the integrated one. The only known workaround that have worked for some (the In-Game Overlay) is OFF. Regards
I often resize my canvases while drawing. For my last 3 canvases, When I leave the app, I return to find that my canvas size has been cropped to the original size I chose. This means that any work did outside the original canvassize is lost. How is this fixed, thanks
I go to Creative Cloud, then it says Not Compatible.I can't install the Intel graphics drivers either.I have a Core i7-10700 and a Raedon RX 570.
Hi there, I tried to work with fresco for the last few weeks, and finally I am giving up.It crashed lots of times when undoing several steps. It was not due to any high cpu or ram usage. There was still plenty capacity left. Then I tried to reinstall fresco and Adobe creative cloud. Before that, I made sure that all my work was synchronized and uploaded to the adobe cloud, and fresco told me so. But now after the reinstall all of the duplicated versions of my sketch (i duplicated the original file to save my progress in steps) are missing. so I lost a lot of progress.There is nothing in the "deleted" folder. I am using a Microsoft Surface Pro 6 (i5, 8gb ram) with all the latest drivers and windows 10, and the latest fresco free version. I just wanted to let you know about these bugs. Unfortunately this app is definitely not save to work with yet.
being new to Fresco, I started with my first layer accidently as a "motion layer" (Im still not sure how I did this). Subsequently I added several layers on top of it. Now I need to merge down my normal layers into my orginal motion layer. I dont need a motion layer at all. I just want to draw. Any ideas?
Is there a efficient way to save brushes created in one painting for re-use in other paintings. If they can be saved in the personal library in creative cloud they will be reusable. This will also help me give them suitable names eg grass hard round opacity. Right now I create them on a separate layer and copy that layer to the new painting and recreate the brush in the new painting. I usually have5-10 brushes so it will save a great deal of time. Thanks in advance.
Trying to figure out the Motion feature in Fresco. I've mostly got illustrations figured out, but I'm trying to have blocks of text appear sequentially in different colors. Example: Frame One - "The" in black. Frame Two - add "Quick" in green, so "The Quick" appears in two colors. Frame Three - "Brown" in brown, so that "The Quick Brown" appears in three colors, etc., etc. But when I try to do this, Frame Two's text wipes out/replaces Frame One's(?!). Is it possible to copy/paste text into Motion frames from non-motion frames? Help!
Hello, Since Adobe draw is discontinued - I'm forced to change to Fresco or Illustrator instead. I'm going for fresco since it's also free as Draw. I have created a creative acount so I can transfer my files I've done in "Draw". I've noticed that they can be loaded into fresco via the iPad aswell (via the "+" in the app). But I'm having some troubles doing that. First of all, I've got some huge files that are like 500mb - 1,3 gb (way too huge files if you ask me, shouldnt vector files by way smaller??). Anyhow... everytime i try to load a project into my Fresco, it starts loading and then always crashes around 50%. It's the same outcome trying to load it in from the cloud or via the add-on button in the app... I have limited time with draw, til 10 januari 2022 to be precise. And I'd like to transfer my files to Fresco before the app dissappears. (ps. the files are in my cloud worst case scenario) Help please?
Hello, I recently installed Fresco but i could never use it because it crashes during the loading documents process. I already tried everything I saw on other threads. I use Windows 10, everything is updated, no internet problems. Fresco is the only adobe app that crashes this way.
Hello everyone, I absolutely love the Pencil brush in Fresco (the one in Sketching > Pencil) and I was wondering if the same brush was also available without the grainy-pencil texture to it. It is an absolutely amazing brush and sometimes I would like to have the line be just fluid, without texture, but keeping the same gesture / pressure control and everything else about that brush.Have you found a brush like what I'm describing ? Can I tweek a few things in the settings to get that ? Thank you !
As I say in the title,What's the 'fade' for? under the 'Control' of the Scatter jitter in Brush setting ??? I understand pen pressure is for scatter is depend on the how hard you press your pen to your canvas, and I can see that by setting it. However, I really don't know what's the idea of the 'fade' for??? I highly recommand add a new contents of the brush settings in the user guide, please. There's no update about it. Thank you.
Hello, I'm new to using Adobe Fresco and I have found that when using the drawing aids they seem to snap to random points. Is this normal and if so is there any way to disable this?
Are you tired of sending your files to Illustrator on Desktop and then opening it on Illustrator on iPad? With the latest update, you can now directly open your Fresco projects in Illustrator on the iPad. Update your application to the latest release (3.0) and send your files directly to Illustrator on iPad in just 3 clicks. Click on the Share icon on the top right corner of the screen. Choose Send to Illustrator. Choose iPad or Desktop as per your preference. Limitation: This option is only available in the iPad version. You cannot send your files from the Windows version to Illustrator on iPad. -Srishti
So, I use Adobe Fresco alot. I very much prefer it to drawing in Photoshop, the interface is quicker, the touch controls are more responsive. It's just a better place to draw. Except. That feeling only lasts about an hour or so. After an hour or so (a few if I'm extremely lucky and there are super limited layers), once multiple layers and strokes have been made, once groups have been grouped and blend modes have been applied multiple times... something terrible happens. It just... chokes. Suddenly, the smallest adjustment takes many seconds to apply. Zoom freezes. Brushes lag. There is ALWAYS a lag on eye-dropping colors, which is weird and almost like it is going online for such a simple task, but I can sort of get used to that, especially if I have a library of the colors I want to use.
