Text search progress indicatorOpen for Voting

Text editing it an amazing feature. But in a long interview, the response time to see you result can be quite slow. But there's no quick way to see if PP is actively searching or if it just didn't find anything. Some kind of progress indicator would be great to indicate that PP is tring to find it, found it or found nothing. I"m thinking a small colored dot:if yellow, it's searching,if red, no results,if green, it's done and here is the first result.

Still No Central Sync for Shortcuts, Workspaces, or BrushesOpen for Voting

I recently opened Adobe Express with some skepticism – and to my surprise, it’s actually a well-designed, genuinely useful tool. Clean, fast, cloud-native. It even handled 4K video editing for digital CLV, and sped up my workflow significantly.A week later, I try the Photoshop and InDesign betas… and it feels like I’ve been transported back to 1998.Why does Express follow modern cloud logic while the “flagship” apps still rely on archaic user setting management? Why do we still have to reconfigure every shortcut, color profile, workspace, brush, and action with every fresh install? Why isn’t all of this synced centrally in the cloud by now? And why doesn’t a new install simply ask if it should restore all my preferences?Even if cloud sync isn’t possible yet – why is the folder structure such an incomprehensible mess? Some preferences are buried in the user's Library, some in the system-wide Library, some under Application Support, some in mysterious “Program Preferences” folders. It’s chaos. Why isn’t there a single, unified directory where all app settings live? Something clean, transparent, and restorable?I get that there's legacy architecture behind this – but how long do you plan to keep piling complexity on top of legacy? Every other modern software suite manages to stay organized. Here, it feels like the folder structure was designed by a very confused pigeon with OCD.Adobe, it’s 2025. Express proves you can build smart tools. So why is the rest of Creative Cloud still so painfully broken?

Unable to Access Graph Object via Python API in Substance 3D Designer 14.0.0Open for Voting

Hi everyone,I'm currently working with Substance 3D Designer 14.0.0 and trying to write a Python script to automatically modify a parameter (e.g., a "Scale" float) and export a sequence of outputs from a specific Output node (with the identifier basecolor).However, I've run into a major issue: I can't seem to retrieve the graph object via the sd.api module.Almost every method I tried from the documentation—like sd.getContext(), getPackageMgr(), getGraphFromIdentifier() —returns an error or doesn’t behave as expected.It seems that either the API structure has changed in this version, or something is missing in how the Python environment is initialized. As a result, I cannot even access the graph object, which blocks all downstream operations like modifying parameters or exporting outputs.Has anyone successfully used the Python API in 14.0.0 to access the graph and automate exports?If so, could you please share how you set up the script environment and retrieved the graph?Thanks in advance!

I would like to see a blur brush added.Open for Voting

When I try to blur with the Smudge tool, the colors are blurred in a dragging manner, which is a bit inconvenient when texturing cellular 3D models.So I use the blur “filter” to blur, but it sometimes blurs areas that I don't want blurred.I also use masks to prevent this, but I find this process a bit time-consuming.I think it would be very convenient if there was a blur brush that gradually fades the color, like CLIP STUDIO.It would allow me to adjust colors seamlessly without changing layers,So, if you could add a blur brush, I would be very happy. Sorry if you already have that feature.

Real-time, live refresh for shared Lightroom albums would be ideal – especially for live event photographers with cloud-based workflows. This would allow clients to see newly uploaded images appear instantly, without needing to manually refresh the webpage.   If this isn’t feasible, a popup such as “This album has been updated. Please refresh to see the latest images.” would still improve the experience.

 Pen tilt and rotation with a tablet like wacom intuos pro is really essential for a more controlled and alive painting experiecnce. Sometimes you need to rotate alpha of a triangle or calligraphy pen and using shortcut is less convinient Especially after you got used to just rotate a brush in PS or other painting software

Hello Adobe Community and Product Teams, I want to share an idea aimed at significantly improving our experience with resource-intensive Creative Cloud applications, such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, and potentially others. --- ### **The Current Problem: The Local Performance Bottleneck** We love the power of Adobe tools, but many of us face major challenges: * **Prohibitive rendering and encoding times:** Hours of waiting for complex projects, which hinders creativity and productivity.* **High hardware requirements:** The need to invest in expensive workstations to achieve acceptable performance.* **Slowdowns and lack of fluidity:** Choppy previews, less responsive interfaces on heavy projects, even on good machines.* **Lack of flexibility:** Difficulty working efficiently on less powerful machines or on the go. These factors limit our ability to fully exploit the potential of the software and meet our deadlines. --- ### **The Proposed Solution: Controlled Hybrid Acceleration** I propose that Adobe develops a **hybrid acceleration** system. The core idea is to keep the main software operations running on our local machines, while having the **option to send the most computationally intensive tasks to optimized remote servers**. --- ### **How It Would Work (Key Principles):** * **Solid Local Foundation and Guaranteed Offline Functionality:**    * Creative Cloud software remains installed and fully functional on our computers.    * Offline work must **always** be possible. Remote acceleration is an *option*, not a mandatory dependency. * **Targeted On-Demand Acceleration:**    * The user could choose to send specific tasks to servers for accelerated processing. Typical examples:        * Final rendering (Premiere Pro sequences, After Effects compositions).        * Encoding/Exporting via Media Encoder.        * Complex calculations (motion analysis, Warp Stabilizer, physics simulations, demanding preview renders, etc.).    * The main interface and light interactive tasks would remain handled locally for maximum responsiveness. * **Full Data Control and Maximum Security (Crucial Point):**    * **Primary Local Storage:** Project files (.prproj, .aep, etc.) and all source media (rushes, assets) **remain stored on the user's local hard drives**. This is our intellectual property, our client data.    * **Temporary and Secure Transfer:** For a remote server to perform a calculation, it is technically necessary to send it the *strictly required* data for that specific task (e.g., the relevant video segments, assets used, calculation instructions). This transfer must be:        * **Secure:** Using robust end-to-end encryption.        * **Temporary:** Data is only present on the server for the duration of the calculation.     * **IMPERATIVE DELETION GUARANTEE:** This is the most important point for trust. Adobe must **guarantee explicitly, contractually, and transparently** that all user data temporarily transferred to its servers (or authorized third-party servers) is **permanently and irretrievably deleted** as soon as the calculation task is finished and the result is retrieved by the user, or in case of cancellation/disconnection. No residual retention should be possible. This guarantee must be central to the privacy policy and terms of service. * **Plugin and Script Compatibility:**    * The remote processing environment must be able to load and use the same third-party plugins and scripts that the user has installed locally, ensuring the consistency and fidelity of the final result. * **Choice of Processing Infrastructure:**    * To offer maximum flexibility, users should have a choice regarding the source of remote computing power:         * **Option 1: Adobe Cloud Servers:**            * An integrated solution offered by Adobe. It would be essential for this option to be offered with **reasonable, transparent, and predictable pricing** (perhaps power tiers or a clear usage-based cost).         * **Option 2: Third-Party / Private Servers:**            * The ability to configure the software to use:                * External cloud computing services (Render Farms on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).                * **Private** servers (on-premise or hosted) managed by the company or user. Adobe could provide recommended technical specifications and potentially server software or APIs to facilitate this integration for organizations requiring full control over their infrastructure. --- ### **Expected Benefits:** * **Massive Time Savings:** Drastic reduction in waiting times for renders and exports.* **Increased Accessibility:** Allowing those with less powerful hardware to tackle complex projects.* **Flexibility:** Working more smoothly, potentially from different machines.* **Potential Hardware Cost Reduction:** Less pressure to constantly upgrade to the most expensive local hardware.* **Scalability:** Adapting computing power to the specific needs of a project.* **For Adobe:** Strong added value to the Creative Cloud subscription, addressing a major user pain point, and potentially new service offerings. --- ### **Conclusion: A Logical Step Forward** Implementing a controlled hybrid acceleration solution would be a major step forward for the Creative Cloud ecosystem. It would address a pressing need for performance while respecting the imperatives of control, security, and flexibility for creative professionals. Of course, implementation presents a technical challenge (transfer optimization, remote plugin management, server infrastructure), but I am confident that the Adobe teams have the expertise to meet this challenge. I invite other community members to share their thoughts on this idea, and I hope Adobe will seriously consider this path for improvement for the future of Creative Cloud. Thank you for reading.

Please can we have a simple process to switch accounts.  ie: I have a work and personal account for AdobeCC on one computer. This is a simle process for other major software companies (eg: Google, MS), and an absolute requirement in the era of digital nomads, and working from home post-COVID. Loooooong overdue feature.

Have the AI be able to search the web for images. For example, when i say "clone trooper", it has no idea what im talking about. it cant even copy off of one that i already have in the poicture if i tell it to. it would be nice if it coulds search for references.

I need to change the offset of the skip selection. The current default of one second is far too short. I would like to set it to 10 to 15 seconds, as to get the context of the cut.I used Magix Samplitude for many years and there I could set the offset to my desired time. The topic in Discussions was not helpful at all.Thanks for your consideration, as I am sure there a many more that look for that feature. Google brings up the question by many, but no answer could be found.

I'd like to see an option to reverse colors on audio tracks. I am used to having my labels bright colors because I can see it more clearly. Before UI update it looked like thisAnd after UI update it looks like thisAs you can see after UI update colors on audio track are reversed (what used to be background color is now audio color and vice versa). It makes it quite hard for me to see the audio.I am aware that one way to make the background color darker on audio tracks is to use darker Label color but then everything is dark and hard to see for me.I'd appreciate if there was just some tickbox that would allow me to reverse the colors.

Please make it so Hardware encoding is supported for CBR and 2-pass VBR encoding (Apple Silicon).Open for Voting

It seems that whenever I switch to CBR or VBR 2-pass, the Hardware Encoding capability dissapears in the Export settings on Apple silicon (M2 Max). If these codecs already have hardware support, why does this dissapear for these settings? Would be great to use the full power of Apple's chips. Thank-you.

Stop always overriding effect parameters when copy/pasting between layers effect of the same typeOpen for Voting

This is a request to revert the decision to always override effects parameters when copy/pasting effects of the same type in Effects Panel. Existing flow:Make two layers with the same type of effect applied with different parameters between layers.Copy the effect in Effects Panel of Layer 1.Select Layer 2 to with existing effect of the same type.Paste copied effect using Cmd+V in the Effects Panel of Layer 2.Result: the parameters of pasted effect from Layer 1 always override the parameters of existing effect over Layer 2.Expected result: if the effect on Layer 2 is selected when pasting, the paramters of copied effect should override existing parameters; if it is not selected — pasted effect should be stacked as a new instance below. This experience of copy/pasting effects is currently inconsistent — it changes depending when you paste over layer with one effect instance of the same type, or with more than one, and thus feels broken, and complicates usual workflow: for some reason, the apps logic now decides instead of me to override effect parameters on pasting. While previously it was my decision, as a user: if I select an existing effect instance and paste over it — I override its params, if no effect selected — I stack it as a new instance. As straightforward as it can be, and makes me feel in control.Now it is more complicated to paste an effect from layer to layer if there's already an existing instance of same effect — I need to duplicate an existing instance first, then select it to make sure I'm overriding this one, not the first one, and only then paste. Please consider reverting this change to described above expected behavior, as it makes me, as a user, to have control overy how I need to paste effects. Related thread as bug report: https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-bugs/copy-paste-effects-is-broken-after-update-to-ae-24/idc-p/14305264#M8001
