got this error trying to start LRC   Ive rebooted etc not sure what to do.  windows 11  LRC 14.3.1   

IMPROVE PHOTOS AND AUTOMATIC NEXT SELECTIONGood morning, I'm Luca  and I use the Lightroom Classic license. I wanted to ask a question. Since I formatted my PC and reinstalled the Adobe package, I had a previous setting but unfortunately now it works the other way around. In practice!!! I click on a photo and I IMPROVE the photo with the button and the appropriate option, when it creates the second image at the end of the process, the photo that the program improved remains selected and the original raw one is deselected. I need the original ones to remain selected at the same time because I can delete them in a second, otherwise I have to select them and find them one by one. Before the formatting, it worked that the created and improved images were not selected, the originals remained selected. Is there another procedure that I can restore to be able to do this?I hope I was clear. Thanks

When I import iphone pictures to LrClassic and I am West of the meridian for some reason the Maps module assumes I am East and ends up getting the location wrong. The way to fix this is to manually append a N & W to the co-ordinates, as in 51°21'17.022" N 2°12'1.062" W.  As it just imports 51°21'17.022" 2°12'1.062" from the phone metadata.Just noticed this with the new verion of LrClassic as in the past it has got this right.

Lightroom clasic 14.3.1 grayed out "edit in".Cant edit in Photoshop useing Lightroom Classic and menu "edit in" which is all geyed out. Updated booth Photoshop and Lightroom Classic but it dont work. Have uninstalled booth software and reinstalled without any better result. It works with Photoshop Beta!!Some with a solution??Øyvind@Norway

I believe I have found a bug in Lightroom Classic. I am posting here in Discussions to confirm. Lightroom Classic Version Number: 14.3.1OS Version Number: Windows 11, Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100 I have configured my Lightroom Preferences: External Editing settings to have a preset called "Photoshop - JPEG", where the application is set to Photoshop.exe and the File Format is set to JPEG. When I select a photo and choose Photo: Edit In: Photoshop - JPEG from the main menu, I get the usual dialog box to choose whether to edit a copy or the original. In this dialog I can see that the File Format is correctly set to JPEG. However, when I click the Edit button in this dialog, Photoshop starts and immediately displays the message "Photoshop could not complete your request because of a program error." When I look in the folder where my photo is stored, I can see the copy that Lightroom has created, and the file extension of this copy is correctly set to .jpg. However, I can see t

I bought a plan 'Lightroom Plan 1TB' which stated it includes Lightroom Classic. But when I go to download it is not enabled for download and it asks me to by another plan, of the same price.  Did I simply buy the wrong plan? People tell me that LrC was included in all Lightroom plans. I can find no way to contact Adobe support to get this resolved. I cannot use Lightroom in the middle of wildlife areas due to network. I need Lightroom classic, pure desktop. I tried to contact Adobe using the chatbot and it simply did not understand anything. 

I have an interface problem in Adove Lightroom Classic in Develop mode. after updates of resent version, unable to do work in full screen view just like the screen shoot attached here. Image are shown in top-left corner not in center and full view. Kindly resolve the problem asap. Thank you

Have same problem as many others. All history disappeared when uppdating to the latest version of Lightroom on Windows 10. I am a professional photographer, and I am using two catalog files. One big and one smaller. Updated both. From the bigger, and most important one, I lost all history. The name of the updated catalog file is "Lightroom Catalog-2-2-v13-5.lrcat". The version of the updated Lightroom is "14.3.1 release". The catalog prior to the update was 27.2 GB. Ater the update it is 2.31 GB. The size of the lrcat-data file is now 429 MB. Prior to the update it was 470 MB. I have copied the "Old Lightroom Catalogs" folder to another place, as well as the newly created catalog files. Then I copied the two old back and restarted Lightroom by clicking on the catalog file. It updated to a new catalog, still called "...v13-5.lrcat", 2.31 GB in size, and without history. When going to denoise an image in Lightroom I am getting the following error, I am on the latest version of Lightroom, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail, has anyone else found this and then a fix?TIA

Hi, I'm using Adobe on an iMac along with a XP-Pen graphics tablet. Up until recently I've had no issues with any of the Adobe programs. I use Lightroom Classic and Photoshop predominantly. Usually when I open LR it loads up on my XP-Pen tablet. Recently LR has now been opening up on my iMac screen. It loads full size with the traffic light buttons not showing. I cannot resize the window to my usual config. All I can do is go into Window and select centre. The traffic lights then show and I can drag it to the XP. But, I have to drag to about 50% of the way down on the tablet screen, go back into window and select centre or fill screen. But, when I then try to use a plug-in, or in fact open any other program on my iMac, LR immediately reverts back to the oversized version on the iMac. I can't figure out how to get it back to how it was before. Interestingly, Photoshop is not affected.. Any help would be appreciated. Photos are when opening and after dragging so LR is not showing on both

This one is debatable, but I think it should be addressed.    When I edit a batch of photos in a collection filtered by camera type, the filter shows me only shots taken with that particular camera, as expected.   Occasionally, I'll use the "Enhance" function to remove noise on one of these files. Upon generating the new noise-reduced DNG file, LR's filters reset, revealing the entire collection containing all the cameras I used. I have to go back and reapply the filter I was using before.   The new file's metadata is still attributed to that camera, so technically, the metadata filter should still apply.

I've disabled GPU in LR's options, and it seems to be preventing the crashing that's been prevalent for the past two or three LR updates but making LR slower to use in the Develop module.   

Hi all, I hope someone can help.  Since the upgrade to V13, I have been getting the below error when I try to export an edited photo.  I've tried on earlier photos, and ones imported since upgrade, and issue with them all. Unedited photos export fine.  I just updated to V13.0.1 and still have the issue. $$$/CRaw/Error/Unknown=There was an unknown error. (1) Hoping someone can advise!  Not sure if I need to completely change my export settings, but I'm exporting to JPEG, with Adobe RGB (1998) as I usually do. 

As of the past week and a half, my Lightroom Classic denoise feature is claiming not to be compatable with RAW files. It's always worked for me prior to this. Is anyone else having this issue, or just me? I currently work on a Macbook Pro, if relevant.  

Hi Community,  I wish to tether the Hasselblad X2D to Lightroom Classic. Is this even a possibility? So far, I haven't been able to find any literature online about this functionalityand I tried tethering on the mac, but Lightroom Classic doesn't recognize the X2D body. Thank you!

Hi.I want to buy some quality AI presets to use on landscape photos. But it's a jungle out there, and I am somehow confused what, and where, to look.I will try to compose my own AI presets in the future, but with only a couple of months experience with LrC - I'll try with others work and learn how to tweak these when needed.So I am not looking for advices on how to make my own AI presets right now - but only recommendations on where to buy some.Have a nice weekend 🙂

I seem to have a very similar problem. I have tried since yesterday to export a collection of 293 files to a USB stick, but also directly to the desktop. Every time the export stopped after 45 files. This morning I started the export in reverse order, i.a. starting with the last file of the 293. I managed the export of 117 files. This never happened before. I use Lightroom since many decades without any problem. I regularly update it. What can I do?  Bernd 

Bonjour, Il semble que mon lightroom classic soit verrouillé dans un affichage bibliothèque qui rend toute action inactive. Les panneaux latéraux ont disparu, leurs petites flèches de rappel aussi, imposisble d'accéder au mode Développement. Cependant, lorsque lightroom n'est pas actif (si je travaille sur un autre logiciel), l'écran est normal. Quelqu'un a une idée ?   

Hi, I have just upgraded from LR5 to LRClassic. Photos are on a HDD and I copied the LR5.lrcat to my desktop, as it would not open the catalog on my HDD because of permission issues. No problems opening lrcat from desktop after upgrade but no photos or previews nor is there any find missing photos !, can anyone help please?

My Lightroom Classic has been acting strange. For example, the “i” key often stops toggling the Info Overlay, and I have to restart the program to get it working again. Importing has become very slow, and on occasion, Lightroom freezes during import. I've tried importing both directly from my SD card and from files copied to my desktop, but the issue persists. Sometimes, the Develop panel fails to display any photos.   I'm running Lightroom 14.3.1 on a brand-new Apple M4 Pro with 48GB of RAM, macOS Sequoia 15.3.2. The problems have noticeably worsened since updating Lightroom.   Do you know what might be causing this? Also, does Adobe offer any direct support for Lightroom Classic? I wasn’t able to find a phone number or chat option.
