Lightroom Classic

HELP! I uninstalled Lightroom Classic from my C-drive because it is critically full. I tried to reinstall it on my external drive or my SSD drive, but I keep getting a "root path" error message. I have Illustrator on my external drive with no issues, so I don't understand why Lightroom won't add. (I have plenty of storage available on it) Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong and how to fix the issue are greatly appreciated!! THANK  YOU!

After updating to LR Classic 14.4 on Windows 11 computer, I downloaded some photos but it crashed before finishing. Now I have 3 files (the last 3 days of photos that didn't get downloaded before crashing) that I can't remove or delete and it keeps crashing in both LRc and Windows Explorer when trying to do anything with them. How do I fix this? 

Hello to all, After updating LrC to the latest version the developing process of Canon RAW CR3 slowed down massively. After syn, of development settings and switching further from image to image it takes a few seconds until I see the next image which was not beforte the update..Also when denoising a batch, first nothing happens and after a while the action starts. Mac Studion M1 with lates OS. What can I do?

Hi, in LR CL version 14.4, Camera Raw 17.4 generative removal works worse than in the older version.The versions offered are partly all 3 unusable. For example, removing cables from the sky leaves a differently tinted sky on the width of the marking. Fragments remain and you need to repeat the process several times to remove a position. Figure Remove2 shows one of 3 versions of generative removal. 

Just upgraded to LRC 14.4 to get the Denoise feature in Detail, but I cannot get it to work.Nothing happens when I click in the box and the white line adjacent to it is greyed out. I am running 13.7.6 Ventura.Please advise

I use a custom watermark (graphic/png) in LR Classic (12.2.1)Everytime I export pictures with watermark, the first picture is always wrong. The main colour of my watermark is yellow. The very first pics watermark becomes blue, this happens mostly once per LR session, first export of this session. I already tried to deactivae GPU support for export like mentioned in another thread in this community, but this didn't changed the behaviour.Wrong: Correct:

There are 32,658 photos listed in the content in my ItalyCollection in Lightroom Classic, which I started to sync to Lightroom because I wanted to cull this collection using multiple devices away from my desktop. While this collection was syncing,, I was browsing the Library in Grid View and noticed the Library Filter "Attributes"  and the "kind" attribute with its three icons buttons located after the colors on the far right side:  Original photo negative icon button with horizontal sproket holes; virtual copy icon photo button with boarder and lower left corner upturned "dogear" and video icon button with its typical vertical sproket holes. For my collection, I was shocked to realize that both the Original photos and Virtual Copy buttons were "selected" or switched on. When I switched off the virtual copy photo icon button, leaving the Original photos on my Italy Collection, I had 1606 photos! Hi all and hopefully you can assist. I own only one Adobe product and installed on my Windows 11 PC. Resources are more than enough. Lightroom Classic installed, most recent version, 14.4 and Camera Raw 17.4EVERY time I need to use Creative Cloud I get the Creative Cloud Error first and then Creative Cloud Limited access.To solve this, I uninstalled ALL & everything Adobe en deleted ALL Adobe related files ... in AppData two. The only place I did not is Registry because I don't want to fiddle there.I then downloaded Creative Cloud and installed Lightroom Classic from there. I again got these to annoying pop-up. I downloaded and ran the Repair Tool only to tell me that no host file entries was fixed.Can anyone please assist. I don't know what this error mean related to the operation of Lightroom but it is super annoying. Thank you very much.

MY Lightroom Classic has been running poorer and poorer as time goes by.To make a very long story, short. This has been plaging me for a very long time.All I wish to do is uninstall LrC, then do a clean install.My question is: how do I do this and preserve all of my personal presets, brushes, etc.

Hello , I am using Lightroom Classic 14.4 on a Mac to manage my photos taken on an digital camera.- I am importing each time  a DNG color picture and a black and white JPG version.- I am copying the files from a network drive on a external SSD drive of my Mac Mini M4.- When synchronizing the pictures, the previews of the DNG files are shown black and white.- I need to create manually the previews with the menu the previews 1:1.This had worked before and stopped working after I changed the camera for another one that takes 40MPixels pictures instead of 24 MPixels.Does anyone has the same issue ? Thanks

Can I make it a default import location? This is the only location I import from and I have to use explorer to find it every time (where do other people import from? this seems like a no brainer default location) 

Using Lightroom Classic to make Book  thru Blurb. Initially used Auto Layout, which created 50 pages. After editing, I only have photos for 17 pages plus covers. But can't delete extra 33 blank pages - pressing Delete button on blank page doen't help. Terry

Lightroom classic "virtual copies" and "HDR copies" do not auto add to an existing collection when made. Have to manually add it back into the current collection from "all photos". Would love for this to be fixed - edited photoshop files add in correctly, but not Virtual Copies or HDR files. 1. Create collection of images2. Create virtual copy, or create HDR of multiple images3. These were RAW files that had uploaded without my explicit permission. Despite confirming deletions (including permanent deletion via the trash bin), Lightroom continues to re-upload these RAWs, or worse — reattaches Smart Previews and original files in a way that prevents any distinction or clean unlinking inside Lightroom Classic.   At one point, I verified that RAWs were stored locally on disk. But any attempt to disable syncing or clear the cloud entirely has resulted in Lightroom:   Restoring previously deleted content Overwriting local content with cloud references

Adobe is 'loose" in their use of synching between LRC and LR CC. In some cases syncing means UPLOAD as when you use the Collection folder in LRC to move images to the Cloud.In other cases it means DOWNLOAD as when you sync LRC and the Cloud. I was very surprised when I followed Adobe's direction to 'sync" my Collection  in LRC which was described as a selective sync and found out ALL my items in the Cloud were also Downloaded It is apparent from reading the discussions that this source of confusion is widely misunderstood. Adobe could help their users if they were more precise in describing "syncing" in their documentation and support discussions

This shows up on Windows 10 PC with AMD CPU/GPU e.g. upon export as JPG.Afterwords it is marked with an explanation mark in the library:This happens arbitrarily for sveral images imported in the past, that could be exported without problems by the previous release. Hello community,This is probably a trivial question, but I can't find the answer: I deleted some archive hard drives that continue to appear in the Lightroom Classic catalog volume series. I want to delete these now-useless drives, but I can't find a way to do it. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance.

Meu app lightroom classic vem apresentando o erro "arquivo parece incompatível ou danificado" em vários arquivos em todas as importações que tenho feito. Já verifiquei as entradas e saídas dos arquivos e não  identifiquei problema algum. Antes da importação para o LR o arquivo raw abre sem problemas no visualizador do meu mac. Após a importação ele aparece danificado no mesmo visualizador. O que fazer?

When I'm not looking at my computer, the settings for grain readjust themselves. Always to the same point. Grain 56, the other two to 38 and 39. I don't touch anything. I'm sleeping, I'm eating dinner, then I'll go to do some work and when I open up a picture, it looks like a mess. I used to panic; now I just scroll down the grain section and always find that phantoms have increased the grain drastically, and always to the same point. Weird, huh? Any ideas? I'm running Lightroom Classic 13.3 on an iMac loaded with Sonoma 14.5. Many thanks, in advance.

Hi everyone,I'm experiencing a serious and frustrating issue with Lightroom Classic on Windows 11 when GPU acceleration is enabled.Problem:Whenever I hover over the image (e.g., in Develop module), or make adjustments like:CurvesExposureContrastMasks…the image flickers, jumps, or visibly shakes. It makes precise editing nearly impossible.The issue occurs on all files, including different RAW formats and previews. It also appears when zooming or moving between modules.Temporary fix:Disabling GPU acceleration completely in Preferences > Performance resolves the issue. However, that’s not a long-term solution – this is high-end hardware and GPU acceleration should be fully supported.

When picking a selection to make it a target selection, the right click menu does not show and option to make that a target selection!I'm using Lightroom Classic only.I have logged out and login againI have shut the computer and re started it again ( a few times)I have tried to update lightroom from the "update apps" menuCould some one please help!Thank you
