Lightroom Classic

The issue I am having is the navigator pane does not allow me to scroll down to the end of the folder structure.The last fully visible folder in the list is "2017_03_04" the next folder is only half visible with many more folders below.I'm convinced there's nothing wrong with the path settings, clicking on "go to folder in library" takes me to the half visible folder in the navigator pane, it doesn't take me to the actual folder.In terms of file/folder location, all pics are stored on a NAS, no duplicate files anywhere else.In terms of folder structure, there is top level folder, with 1400+ sub folders.One of these folders is named "album" which contains two sub folders.One sub folders contains 1000+ subfolders of which 218 folders are visible in the navigator pane. I want to be able to see the remaining 800 odd folders in LR.Any tips please.

Hello there !    Mys problem is the following : once Lightroom Classic is opened, it always crashes after few seconds. I can't work on my images from Japan. I have the latest version and I work on MacOs Sequioa.    What's going on ? Any ideas ? Its a first for me...   Thanks anyway

Cuando utilizo LR Clasicc en modo Biblioteca o Revelar y navego por los comandos y hace que en  mi Pc aparezca la pantalla azul de error y se reinicie. Desinstale e instale pero el problema persiste. Agradezco me ayuden a solucionar el problema. gracias   {Thread renamed by moderator}

I created folders and albums in LR and now have started using LRC, but Lrc doesn't automatically create the same structure as Collection Sets/Collections.  It'll be very annoying if I have to do it manually as as far as I can see Collection Sets = Folders and Collections = Albums.  Shouldn't be rocket science....  At the moment, every single folder from Lightroom (cloud) is just listed in a single list under "From Lightroom"... great, thanks!   Also would be good if this was automatically maintained when I sync the two, if it doesn't already.

My watermark has stopped working on export. I'm using LR Classic and Mac OS Sonoma 14.3.1. I tried to create a new watermark preset for exports and it won’t recognise the PNG file - when I go back to the folder and select the PNG file nothing happens. I saw there’s a new update with bug fixes so I updated and it’s made no difference. Help please, I can't export anything right now and it's stopped my workflow entirely! 

Hi.I am pretty new to LrC - and I have run into this odd problem!I have three pictures shot in a snowstorm. When I push Denoise on a random photo of those three, the 'slider' (I do not know what it is called in English) up in the left corner stops where you can see it on the picture below. It has not stopped as such, it 'just' takes hours to finish! It's only these three pics - none of all the others do that. The photos are shot with a Sony a7IV and they are all about 29-33 Mb in size.I installed my brand new ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 DUAL EVO D6 OC - 12GB GDDR6 this afternoon, and was SO happy to see that denoising took about 10 seconds to render a photo - while my old card took 3-5 minutes for the same rendering.But something is wrong with these three photos when it comes to Denoising.Can someone help me to disable the Facedetection as it says something like "Indexing 1175 pictures" the first time I pushed the Denoise button on one of these three photos (unfortunately I forgot to ta

Sinds een tijdje moet ik Lightroom Classic steeds opnieuw opstarten om mijn selectie met sterren classificatie te kunnen zien. Als ik nieuwe foto's importeer geef ik ze een classificatie. Die is dan niet zichtbaar en moet dan opnieuw opstarten. Dan is de classificatie wel zichtbaar.

Im unable to use Lightroom Classic and Lightroom. It keeps crashing everytime I open the app. I have updated everything from my computer all the way to each app I utilize. My screen is saying my version is outof date, but it is not.

I am using an external SSD and Windows 11. Whenever my laptop's screen turns off after some minutes of inactivity (no sleep mode, but this also happens after sleep and waking up) Lightroom Classic prompts "Lightroom encountered an error and needs to quit".  After restarting the catalog everything is fine. How do I avoid this error? I do not wish to edit screen time out or sleep settings. The Removal policy of my SanDisk Extreme SSD is set to "Better performance" instead of "Quick removal". 

 --- updated based on further testing, this is not related to import from SD card or Hard Drive, I can reproduce it from either source-- This problem started with the latest version of Lightroom Classic (14.1, but persists in 14.1.1) - MacOS 15.3, MacBook Pro M4Pro, Sony RAW files (*.ARW) extension After importing RAW files using "Copy as DNG" vs "Copy" to a new collection specified to be sync'd: Expected behavior:1. Conversion of files to DNG2. Indexing3. Adding to specified collection4. Syncing of photos to Adobe Cloud Actual behavior:1-3 happen normally4. Syncing of photos doesn't happen - I DO see a new collection created on Lightroom Mobile ecosystem, but no photos are synced to it (photo count of zero), and there is no sync activity on Lightroom Classic. Pausing and restarting syncing does not solve the problem, unsyncing and syncing the new collection does not solve the problem, quitting and restarting Lightroom Classic does cause syncing to happen again

I imported and edited images in to a new catalog yesterday. Today, all the images aren't showing. When I choose "All Photographs" it says "1377 of 1395". All stacks are expanded. I tried importing the ones it won't show me, but they are greyed out in the Import window, meaning they are in the catalog somewhere. I have tried searching by file name and no results, yet I worked on them. No attributes selected. How to a enable visibility for literally all photos in a catalog, regardless of status?

Hi.   I would like to submit feedback regarding Lightroom Classic on Windows 11 with an RTX 3050 graphics card. When performing Denoise in the background while viewing the Develop panel, the screen occasionally flickers. Additionally, when applying multiple masks to an image, severe lag occurs not only for that specific image but also for all images in the filmstrip.   This issue began at some point after a Lightroom Classic version upgrade, as it worked fine during the initial period of using the RTX 3050. Despite attempts to resolve the problem through graphics driver updates and Lightroom version upgrades, the issue persists.   I suspect this may be due to memory leaks or similar bugs, and I believe it requires further investigation. The performance degradation significantly impacts the workflow, especially when working with multiple masks or performing background tasks like denoising. Ive just come back to Lightroom ater years away, yeah I maybe mad, but so far so good, just one thing, my documents folder in my Macbooks storage has now got 213gb, is this correct? it all seems to be photos, is this normal or have I done something wrong? Many thanks

Bonjour, J'ai installé ligtroom classic sur mon nouveau mac (sequoiai 15.2) J'ai 2 catalogues. Pour un, tout est OK, j'ai tout récupéré. Par contre, pour l'autre catalogue, il a bien toutes les photos, sait où les trouver mais il n'a plus les mots clés (je ne peux d'ailleurs pas en mettre de nouveau). J'ai l'impression qu'il est toujours en attente de quelque chose car à gauche de param prédéf. dans le module bibliothèque, une roue tourne sans arrêt. Merci et bonne journée. 

I am using Windows 11 with 32GB RAM and an RTX 3060 Ti 8GB. My graphics card drivers are up to date, and all my programs are confirmed to be the latest versions. My computer runs normally, but whenever I use the Denoise function in Lightroom, the screen turns black.It's not a monitor issue, and the PC itself keeps running, but only the screen goes black.I have also tried disabling the graphics card in Lightroom's performance settings, but the same issue persists.What could be the cause of this?

Hi.I've had to get a new PC and the main drive is smaller than my previous one, so I'm using an external drive for storing photos,and so they've moved from "C" to "D".I've finally got my backup catalogues installed in Lightroom, but all the pictures in all the folders are greyed out, and on the folders tab it still says "C" drive.How do I change that to "D" drive?Probably very simple and I'm just being a bit dim.Cheers.Steve.

I saved a book but when I reopen I have an autoformat that in no way resembles the book i saved... must be pilot error but cannot figure out my mistake .... any thoughts? Hours of work are going down the drain.

Ich habe auf meinem alten Computer mit Lightroom 5 (gekauft) und Windows 10 gearbeitet. Jetzt wurde es auf meinem neuen Computer mit Windows 11 übertragen und zeigt nicht mehr die Raw Daten an. Bevor ich die neue Lightroom Classic abonniere, möchte ich die Daten so herstellen im alten Katalog, so dass ich sie importieren kann.Zunächst wurde die Raw Bilder als fehlende angezeigt und ich konnte sie in DNG konvertieren, die erkannt wurden. Ich habe etwas verstellt und jetzt kann man die Daten auch nicht mehr konvertieren, da sie nicht eingelesen werden. Ich bin völlig verzweifelt, weil es um eine sehr große Menge Bilder handelt. Adobe Support konnte mir nicht helfen.Vielen DankKaren

When I edit in Photoshp from Lightroom Classic, it shows ProPhoto RGB as the color Profile.I do not want this color profile. From Lightroom Classic Edit In Photoshop, how do I get it to show Working RGB?
