Lightroom Classic

Hello! I am trying to print from Lightroom Classic straight to a printer.  I bought a Canon SELPHY 1500.  When I plug the printer in, Lightroom does not load the paper size correctly.  It only offers Japanese Post Card, Credit Card, and Metric Photo L. It will not print a proper 4X6, like intended for the printer.  It won't even let me create a custom size. What am I doing wrong?

I've downloaded creative cloud and installed. I then installed Lightroom Classic through the Creative Cloud. Whenever I try to launch Lightroom Classic it immediately closes shortly after the splash screen appears.   I spent two hours with Adobe tech support who took remote control and tried random things... NONE of which solved the issue. I'm still left WITHOUT a functioning software even though I've payed for it.   I am running a brand new Apple iMac M1 computer with Big Sur 11.5.1 .   I have already tried the recommended solution of...1. Signing out and signing back into Creative Cloud2. Changing the SLCache and SLStore folders to the "SLCacheold" and "SLStoreold"3. I have uninstalled and re-installed both Creative Clould and Lightroom Classic THREE TIMES NOW   This has taken OVER four hours of my time now. I'm very frustrated.

Hi, I bought custom preset long time ago and I like it very much. However it has one problem. It changes the yellow color to almost pink. Even when I set all setting and colors in Lightroom to default (except disabling the preset), it does not change. Is there any "hidden" option to edit the preset? Thank you!

Hi, I'm currently doing further development of a Lightroom Classic plugin written in Lua. In the GUI part of it, I need to change parts of the view depending on the current configuration. To be specific I need an amount of f:edit_field() that is not fixed. Anyone got an idea, how this possible. I am looking to  transfer all of my photos on LR to LRC. I used the Adobe Help desk to assist; however not all photos transferred. They are closed today and would appreciate any steps to move the remaining pics. Thank  you

I successfully used J.R. Ellis’ Fix Presets Plugin for LrC – many tanks to John! Alas, it does not change normal(?)/special(?) profiles, only “creative” ones. I can’t even change the names of these normal (?)/special(?)  profiles, what I’d like to do. The creator of about 100 “camera profiles” that I bought did not put any camera name as a part of the profile name – you only find e.g. “aRGB Vivid …” (followed by the name of the producer’s company). When this is shown in LrC or ACR “Profile”, in LrC favorites or LrC History you have to solve a riddle if you own all 12 camera profile groups, the riddle “The profile of which camera did I use with this picture?”. One can change the names of creative profiles easily in Camera Raw (not in LrC - at least not after having used Fix Presets😞  After right-clicking on the profile name an according pop-up menu appears. But you do not have that possibility with these normal (?)/special(?)  profiles – another pop-up menu shows

Hello, I am experiencing an issue where my import panel is blank for all sources. The sources are all present and recognized, such as (C:), backup drive (F:), external SD (H:), etc. But choosing any of them does not present thumbnails in the middle window to select and import. I have ensured that "Include Subfolders" is checked, and I have tried "Copy as DNG" and "Copy" as import actions with no joy. I have even tried changing the destination, updating graphics drivers, enabling/disabling graphics card, tried using different external card readers (verified images can be openend using File Explorer). Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with Adobe Lightroom Classic  on my Dell XPS 13  9320 i7-1260P 32 GB 1 TB UHD+, running Windows 10. When I enter Full Screen mode (by pressing the "F" key), the screen brightness dims significantly. This issue does not occur in other applications or in Lightroom’s normal windowed mode. Here’s what I’ve tried so far without success:   1. Disabled automatic brightness adjustments in Windows settings and power management. 2. Turned off HDR mode in Windows display settings. 3. Updated my graphics drivers (Intel) to the latest version. 4. Reset Lightroom preferences by holding Shift while launching the application. 5. Checked for BIOS/UEFI updates for my Dell XPS 13 and installed the latest version 6. Disabled any dynamic brightness or contrast settings in the Intel Graphics Command Center Despite these efforts, the problem persists. Has anyone else encountered this issue, or does Adobe have any recommendations for resolving it? Thank you in

while cleaning up windows 11 laptop for improved LrC and PS performance, I see all LrC images in the MS photos program. I did not, knowingly, save images to ointernal HD. Is there a setting I am not aware upon import that is duplicating every darn uploaded photo? I dont see any such setting in the MS photo app itself.These are not iCloud photos, BTW. Thanks in advance

Yesterday, I bought a new MacBook Pro and tried to import all my photos from an external hard drive into Lightroom Classic. However, only the edited images were imported. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can import all the RAW files from my external hard drive?

I have been trying to export 93 images (CR3 with Smart Previews). They have been exporting for almost 11 hours. I have gone into settings and changed to all recommended. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it is still taking forever. I have been experiencing this issue for almost 1 year. As much as I love editing, this issue has really discouraged me from wanting to continue my passion for photography. Not only is it taking forever for exporting, but I also continue to get nonstop errors for "not responding" which is causing other issues. Can someone please help.

My Seagate external hard drive crashed, so it seems I can't access those photos in Lightroom.  I'm using a macbook.  I can see the darkened photos, but can I still access them or are they just gone because I no longer have the original photos?  

Yesterday i imported in lightroom 2k photos, forgot to change the destination for space. I downloaded the txt file from the import error. Can i use this file to autoselect all the pics that haven't been imported cause of the error?

Ich habe Probleme mit meinem neu gekauften Epson Surecolor SC-P900.Auf Anraten eines Mitgliedes der Community habe ich den Drucker NICHT als Air-Print-Drucker zugeführt, weil dann nur ein ganz ausgedünntes Menu angeboten wird.  Wie man sehen kann, ist es die neueste Treiberversion. Es wird auch das erweiterte Menu angezeigt,ABER...ERSTENS - Bei “Farbe” kann man nicht den s/w Dialog auswählen, er ist ausgegrautZWEITENS - Bei "Farbeinstellungen" ist nur "AUS" möglich  Das wäre prinzipiell nicht schlimm, weil ich mit icc-Profilen arbeite und die Farbkorrektur dann ja sowieso ausgeschaltet sein muss, ABER…DRITTENS - beim Dialog “Farbanpassung” unter “Optionen” habe ich mal diese Meldung..  ...und mal diese Meldung...  Das macht natürlich einen Unterschied beim Drucken aus. Ich kann nicht beeinflussen, was unter “Farbanpassung” erscheint. Ich könnte mich danach richten, wenn es bei einer Einstellung bleiben würde, aber natürlich nicht, wenn es dauernd

Title says it all. Trying to bring up the export dialogue in the develop module and nothing shows. If you go to the web module it will pop up then, or if you do something to the catalog, like an optimise. Is this a catalog corruption? I read anther thread where a roll back to any earlier catlog backup was needed. Hello, I'm running lightroom classic on windows 11 pc with the i9-14900K Processor with a 4090 GPU and 64G of ram and lightroom runs soooooo slow.  like you click on a photo down below on the film strip area and it takes like 10 seconds or more to pull the photo.  The catalogue probably holds around 110,000 ish photos.  also making adjustments, there is a few second delay, for example, if you are raising or lowering exposure.  Another is exiting lightroom it takes a while for the pop up to appear to close out of the program.  anyone else experiencing this?  Thanks in advance!

Denoise AI suddenly stopped working on my M1 Studio running OS 15.3. Strangly, it seems to run ok on my M2 MacBook Pro also runnig OS 15.3. LrC version is 14.1.1 on both. Anyone experiencing somthing similar?   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]

I'm not sure what has happened but after the last update the program starts bogging down after about 30 minutes of use and you have to restart it to get the functionality back.   Version before was great it flew along, now back to the bad old days of slowdown. While editing an NEF image, I chose for the first time to use de-noise by clicking on the Enhanced option. After that process was completed (good looking edit) I discovered a second image file was created in the folder. It was Enhanced-NR.DNG file.1. Assume creating an extra file is something in the process I can't stop from happening, it's automatic. If I can, how do I stop it?2. Afterwards, if I delete the DNG file does that also erase the enhanced edit on the RAW file? If it doesn't what's the purpose for an extra file in DNG?3. Is the Enhanced edit doing more than just de-noise?Thank you

1.Przy odszukiwaniu coś jest nie tak. Przed aktualizacją trwało to 1 godzinę i teraz trwa to 2 godziny.  Wykorzystuje mniej niż 50 % wydajności sprzętu. Dlaczego nie może jednocześnie pracować na 2 zdjęciach z przesunięciem o ½ zdjęcia aby w pełni wykorzystać moc obliczeniową PC ?I7 – 14700 KF + RTX 3090 – 24 GB – a chodzi jak bym na ośle jechał. 2.Nie ma opcji odszukiwania i wyostrzenia w jednym kroku. 3.Albo odszumiam albo czasami pozwala na wyostrzenie. I can no longer correctly export my new book created in Lightroom Classic either as a pdf or as an export to Blurb.I initialized it in November 24 and when I re-opened it in January, the photos (and retouching) had been rotated by 90°. I corrected the whole album. The display in LrC is now correct, but if I save as a pdf or export to Blurb, the photos are still rotated by 90° (see screenshots).I'm in version 14.1.1. I've tried to reload a backup of the November catalog but the problem persists.I'm desperate because this book represents 2 whole weeks of work.Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi, Whenever I am finished with Lightroom Classic a dialog with a crash is reported.   I have tried several things, like below: - Disable all plugins - Create a new Catalog - Try to check the catalog and optimize - Load Lightroom without the images, just the catalog only (images are on an external device)    I am running this on a Macbook Pro 16 with m1 MAX with 32GB and 1TB SSD.
